I fitted same screen on my audi q3 .. it was straight forward but only thing you didn't show where to plug in aux cable ... a great upgrade 👌🏼

there are two Q3 versions.. one with factory fitted camera Quattro technology and lower models without quattro and camera.. lower models it seems straight forward..

Just in case anyone is wondering about the main connection usually the hnr radio connects to the box under the glovebox (rhd) rmc or is it rmc usually plugs into the back of the heater controller. Takes about an hour to fit very easy indeed

Followed the same installation but when connecting to can bus behind glovebox, the whole cars electric system went crazy. Windscreen wipers, parking break fault, ac etc.
Have you seen this issue?

yes.. in settings there are lot of menu's and u'll have to select 1,2,3,4,5 etc. and keep on checking until everything is working. trial and error method.. long menu of settings..

the guys were on video call takings instructions... with Q3 models that come with rear camera, u hav to buy the higher model tat supports oem camera.
I had to return mine as it was unresponsive with touch.. Also, update the firmware.

Also had this problem it would seem the canbus take off can either be behind the glove box as shown here or behind the blower switch panel, the plugs are identical its easy enough to try both locations mine would not shut down but changed to the glovebox port and all is well
