    Cool video! I like the music. I just visited Enchanted Rock State Park this past Monday. Saw a lot of cacti on the trails. Similar to the trails you’re walking on. Unfortunately, I had to be treated for heat exhaustion and dehydration as it was 106 degrees.🥵

      Sorry to hear that. It's crazy hot out there. I'm headed to cooler weather tomorrow. More videos coming :)

    I was just hiking those trails last week. Perfect weather, sunny and low 70's to low 80's. Got some bbq in Llano on the way home. The old courthouse in Mason burned down the last night I was there, still smoldering on Friday afternoon when I drove through...a real shame.

    Oh my, that Cardinal is a very brilliant red...you captured him well...love so much your hike...no endless chatter...lol...new sub and dropping in to say hello from Nova Scotia, Canada, where currently I hike local areas with my dog, Otis...take good care now and have yourself a great weekend....

    Wonderful video about the park. I would suggest more facts about the sites you visit if you plan on making videos on other parks. I think that’s what I hoping for since I was thinking about going here.

      Thanks! More on the campsites or the park? I can do more campsite info. Whole park reviews are a little harder, but I'd like to provide more general info. I usually try to provide some in the video description. Check out Texas Trailhead for more review style videos.

    Man, that roadrunner looked cool. Don’t think I’ve ran into any hogs there...or deer. Cool vid! Thanks for sharing

      Thanks, Ronie. I saw about 8 pigs/hogs. I heard even more.

    How far and how difficult was the trail to get to those sites? Thanks for any info you can give me

    • @smithmutexas
      @smithmutexas  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's probably around 2 miles to get to the sites. Easy hike in on mid-canyon trail. There's a trail map in the video description with topographical info.
