I just wanted to say thank you for being vulnerable and authentic about why you make these videos. It was very inspiring for me to hear you talk about your personal journey. Your videos are extremely well edited and informative.
I stumbled upon your Inks Lake video and was mesmerized by your talent of capturing the Texas special sights. I appreciate all the time spent on your video editing. Love seeing the birds, animals, rivers and trails. I am a fellow native Austinite and grew up camping with my parents at Lake Travis (long before the Corps of Engineers). THANK YOU for sharing your story and inspiring me to get back out there to enjoy my life. You are amazingly strong to overcome such huge obstacles. I look forward to seeing your adventures.
For some reason I always think you're going to walk by an arrow and do a Mike...oops..and walk the other way. 🤪 Great video.. Thank God you got healthier and happier..love ya...
Thank you for sharing your story...good to see that you are fighting through to reach a place where you are now much healthier and happier...going to share this with a few other young people that I know who are going through some tough times...you are an inspiration! As for me and hiking, suffer through neurological pain issues, but enjoy seeing the joy that the outdoors brings to my Bernese, Otis! Take great care and have a great upcoming weekend!
Thanks for sharing your story Mike! I am glad I found your channel and have been enjoying your videos. We live close by. Maybe we can go for a hike sometime. I am still working on getting back into hiking shape!
Thanks. Headed out to GMNP next week. Hoping to car camp a couple days and backpack a day or two. I invited you a while back but was bad about following up. Invitation still stands.
@@smithmutexas don't worry about it. Regular life has been busy for me lately. (That's why I haven't posted any videos) I was hoping to go out to GUMO in a couple weekends but that may not work out for me either. I hope your trip goes well out west and that you don't get beat up by the winds. If for some reason you don't get a spot at Pine Springs, Dog Canyon really is the more laid back and nicer camping experience. It's just a little far from some of the main hikes.

Awesome video! Thanks for sharing this
Love the footage with the new camera. Glad you talked a little bit about why you hike. ❤️
The outdoors does wonders for your health. Great job!!!

You got some cool shots with your new camera. And you did a great job editing the river shots. Cool to get to know you a bit.
