    The MakeWithTech channel teaches people how to use desktop technology to create, innovate, and make things. If you are a "maker" and want to learn more about 3d Printing, 3d Printers, 3d Printing Slicers, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Laser Engravers, or 3d Modeling, this is a place you should visit often. The channel includes additional content about using a wood lathe, woodworking, and programming single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi, Adafruit Circuit Playground, ESP32, and Python. Available reviews are about Prusa, Creality, Monoprice, ANET, Flsun, Fokoos, JG Maker, Solvol, and Flashforge 3d Printers. Slicers covered include MatterControl, Cura, PrusaSlicer, Flashprint, and IdeaMaker. CAD design videos cover TinkerCAD, FreeCAD, OpenSCAD, and Shapr3D. Laser Engravers from Ortur, XTool, and Creality are featured in videos.

    Excellent video. I recently purchased a Creality K1, and I have found it to be an excellent high speed printer. The K1 is a direct drive printer that runs Klipper, so it's fast. I also like that it's an enclosed printer so it should be able to print most all filaments. One feature I wasn't sure I would need, or like, is the optional AI camera; however, it's an excellent accessory. If you get a chance try a K1 I'm interested to hear about your experience.

    How does the SainSmart filament print at slower speeds? They seem to recommend 300mm/s but does it print nicely at say 80?

    Hi, what you think about Ankermake vs Bambu Lab printers?

  • @gamedevai
    @gamedevai 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Hi Irv always great videos. I do not own a 3d printer yet! However I thought would it be beneficial if there was an all glass hot end with a laser melting the filament through the glass head giving it finer control in extruding filament at a much faster, hotter and accurate rate,. Whats your thoughts on this idea ? 😀

    • @gamedevai
      @gamedevai 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The laser can also heat the cooled filament before the newer layer is applied giving it a better adhesion and smooth finish just a thought

      @mrfoameruk 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@gamedevai how do you intend to make it? it's glass and fragile. Lasers are also expensive. you've just added £200 with no benefit. Id a diode it would most probably not even melt transparent filament and if a co2 laser adds another £300 and a 3-foot tube to it along with water cooling.

    Looks like a filament review as opposed to a printer review. The filament goes hand in hand with the fast printer but, what was the print speed, travel speed, accelleration and decelleration speeds of the printer that the samples were printed at? Enquiring minds want to know.
