- In NASCAR's first 75 seasons, there have been many numbers come and go. In this series, we tell the stories of each of those numbers.
We go in numerical order, and today we explore numbers 5 through 9. If you missed numbers 0-4 the Xfinity series number history playlist will be linked below.

If you ask me. The Number 8 car next season will be piloted by noah Gragson because of his indefinite suspention there's no chance Brandon Jones would go back into the 19 because of Gragson.

Allgaier now has 19 Wins (8 Days after Recording this Video, He won at Bristol Motor Speedway).
It's likely that Justin Allgaier will beat Harry Gant's Record of "Most Wins in the #7" by the end of Next Season.
I've been rooting for him since I saw my first Nationwide/Xfinity Race at the 2010 Season Opener, alongside Dale Jr. (Where the latter won in his father's Famous #3 "Wrangler" paint scheme).

Both Earnhardt's and Martin Truex Jr won 66.67% of the Races (For DEI) the #8 Car. (13 Wins for MTJ, 8 Wins for Dale Earnhardt Sr., and 7 Wins for Dale Earnhardt Jr).
Josh Berry is a decent driver and one that has an interesting story. I know some are hesitant about replacing Kevin Harvick (Myself Included), but if he can use some of the methods Harvick used (or have Harvick on the pit box helping him) and prove that his short stint in Cup wasn't a fluke, he could be a Cup Series Winner or even a Championship Contender. Only time will tell.

With 5 Full-Time Drivers in the #9 Car since 2014 (Chase Elliott - 4 Wins, William Byron - 4 Wins, Tyler Reddick - 2 Wins, Noah Gragson - 13 Wins, and Brandon Jones - 0 Wins), each one has shown potential in ARCA, Trucks, Xfinity and/or Cup (with some doing better than others).

The predictions are so crazy to see now!
Fun fact: last year Willy B made a few Xfinity starts. That broke is 100% championship record in the series. Before he ran just the 1 season and took the title.

Honorable Mentions for 10-14:
10- Phil Parsons ran 118 races from 1996 to 1999 scored 16 Top 5's and never saw victory lane
11- Ryan Truex did 2018 in the number
12- Kerry Earnhardt, Earnhardt Sr's oldest son ran in Xfinity from 2002 and half of 2003. although he never saw victory he came close with 2nd at Kansas and 5th in Memphis
13- Give a nod to Ted Christopher. The Modified Tour legend made 15 starts at Xfinity in the 13 from 1996 to 1999 with 2 Top 10s coming at Nazareth, only one of 2 drivers to ever get the 13 into the Top 10
14- Kyle Krisiloff did one season in 2007 and got 1 Top 5 and 2 Top 10's
Dale jr made his xfinity series debut in the 7 for Whitaker Racing at Bristol. Huge honorable mention.

Junior actually made his Busch Series debut driving the #31 Chevy for his father's team.
