Big fan of your tutorials man. Love what you do. Just an observation here: the glide mod doesn't seem to be doing anything unless you check those top rectangular boxes right under the step filter's steps. I could be wrong tho, so correct me if i am. Always eager to learn something. Cheers
Lots of unnecessary steps in there. It would be much simpler to take the flat "ungated" lead and to set a square LFO (not a stepper, why would you even do that?) and assign it to the Amp's sidechain.
Stepper allows you to get more creative with the amplitude of your gate. This is the most complex way to achieve the sound, teaching you a different perspective of massive. He was recreating a sound that you heard in the beginning, I.E the first 9 bars.
Felipe Varela That would give you a lot less control over your sound. This way, I can change the velocity and rhythm of thegate. For instance, what if I wanted a stuttered gate where it didn't gate the sound every 1/8th or 16th note, lets say I wanted it to skip a beat here and there for a more interesting and syncopated feel, the Stepper would allow me to do that. The LFO cannot.

Cool, many thanks. ADSR tutorials are simply the best :-)))
Exactly what I was looking for, thank you :)
you just helped with a double platinum record thank you!!
I always try and follow these tuts to a "t", but in this case my sound was pretty different right off the bat. I have no idea why!
Trance is not DEAD :D:D:D

***** Ah, you are right. I understand that a Stepper can be more flexible. How about my point about assigning it to the Amp's Sidechain?
