Nice to see some tutorials from people who actually understand the synth, haha. You're one of the first people I've ever seen actually open the routing tab. :P Really cool sound too! I love what you did with all the modulator modulating, definitely got a cool analog sound out of it.
I'm actually wondering why you changed the bypass-routing because you didn't even turn the bypass on (between the amp & master in the upper right corner). Nonetheless nice tutorial!
Looks like you have a gift to produce such delightful sound, unlike tasteless me:) How long did it take to become versed in synthes and to invent your own sound?
Uprightest Kind of! You could have envelope control the noise via modulation and then have that envelope modulate the filter so they both open up together. Alternatively, each of the LFO's can load up a noise waveform that you could use.

Ha thanks Jon!
Great pad..... creative approach to the already versatile Massive...... one of the greatest soft synths around, jet still not praised enough.
Nice job mate, really like the sounds you design. Keep up the good work, and if you make any minimal sounds or synths let me know.
A huge thank you for this tutorial that learned me a lot about Massive. And added me a realy nice pad to my presets collection !
Lovin that opening logo animation and sound design
such beautiful chords!
Fab - really helpful tutorial! (In future would love perhaps a zoomed-in Massive view as I had to squint for some of this hehe!)

Just an fyi Filter FM doesn't affect the oscilators, it affects the 2 filters. That's why there's only 2 routing options.
Great tutorial. Great sound. But I can't hear the 3-rd OSC. It is too quite with current configs, and I don't hear any influence on total sound...
I also love making pads, any chance of a Massive tutorial for one suitable for future garage? Thanks for the tut! :)
Your awesome pal!
Thanks for sharing!

You are a genius!!!!!!!
I love a moody sound with a Soulful House track!
what are the keys you are using?
It may sound ridiculous but uhm can you make a "bryson tiller type pad"?
Wicked tutorial, thanks mate!
my loop section in the morph place for envelope 2 isnt clicking to 1 like it did for u. why ?
Amazing!
Any chance we can get the patch as a download? Tried multiple times, and mine still winds up sounding a bit harsh, not a clue why.
can you send the patch? and that midi clip its way too cool!
im trying to figure out how to get that sort of mndsgn syth feel
What's up man! Do you have Pack of pads like this for selling? I want to buy. Thanks

great sound, thank you!
Thanks for watching!
very helpful -thanks!
Followed this tutorial to the t, not getting the same results. It sounds like a very muddy square wave... anyone have a preset for this?
What chords are these?
My attempt sounds really square for some reason, I followed the routing settings each time but still ended up with the same results
Mine too...
make sure you start of with int preset!
Thank you
Is there a way to modulate the filter with noise in Massive?

Ah....got it. Thank you kind sir. :D
Holy fuck that is tight you guys are the shit!
