    In this tutorial, Echo Sound Works will show you how to create a Future Bass wobble synth using Massive.
    The key points to take away from this video aren't what to use in the Oscillators, but rather how to introduce different rhythmic patterns of an LFO or Performer into the sound. This will allow you to modulate and automate those variations into your chord progression at any point, which will keep things interesting.

  • @BetrayedGecko
    @BetrayedGecko 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hey! Great tutorial but I have a little feedback. For synth tutorials like this can you share the chord progression that you used in the video? It seems like people are thinking their sounds don't sound the same but it's not because they're doing anything wrong in massive, it's because you're using a specific set of chords while they're most likely just trying it with one note.

    Great tutorial! Had one question though. In your future bass series of 21 videos, there was a video in which you also explained this method a bit. It was one of the first videos regarding synths, you were using massive and you quickly explained how to get this type of effect and kinda of by automating the sync rate I believe. I loved the video but can't find it. Would you be reexplain or could simply provide the link to that video! Thank you

    • @simonkempnerguitar
      @simonkempnerguitar 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The chord progression is: I Ebm, Db, Abm I Abm, Bbm, Ebm I
      Those are the basic triads. You can always spice them up with more options. For minor chords that would be minor 7ths and/or 9ths, for major chords that would be major 7ths and 9ths - or suspend the 3rd with the 9 (except for the Bbm, that would sound bad) - Hope that helped! ;)

    hey so this may seem like a stupid question but im new to making music and aspiring to be an artist, but anyway to actually get those sounds before massive do you need an external instrument like a keyboard, synthesizer, ect to get it before you make it into a future sound?

    • @Adsrsounds
      @Adsrsounds  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Michael Lee Hey, not sure I understand your question! Massive is a synth for the computer, called "soft synths". You use that in conjunction with a USB midi keyboard etc.

    You should make a tutorial on how to do this in sylenth1

    • @DJallreds
      @DJallreds 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +3dgflames It's a fundamental thing. Basically, you just automate the filter point of a lowpass with something. You could literally draw in automation in your DAW and assign it to a shallow lowpass.

    • @JonJon-bx1ww
      @JonJon-bx1ww 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, so in Sylenth1 they are called "mods". They are modulators. They do the similar to the macros. if you use Ableton, another trick is an Auto Filter. Then open up something like Glitch2 or Turnado a plugin that can mangle things. Tie that to the auto filter in ableton that is utilizing lowpass. I guarantee you get some amazing things. Just my two cents.
