  • I know a lot of you are going to say, " who asked for a optics ready single stack 1911" The short answer is, more than you might think. The 1911 in the 4.25" commander length slide. Is still a contender as an Everyday EDC pistol. With the addition of the AOS plate, the new 1911 Operator is going into the EDC rotation.

    For the love of God Springfield, leave the frame in the cnc for 2 more minutes and put some front strap checking on it, and charge me $50 more. Front slide serrations, light rail, optics cut and you cheap out with smooth front strap. 🤦‍♂️

      If they checkered the operator nobody would spend an extra $750 to get the TRP

      The new sig 1911 optic ready is much less than an trp with front strap checkering and it’s reliable

    • @rdrgear
      @rdrgear  27 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @@SS-tr5ru true but it only supports micro red dots. And it has the scorpion slide. So holsters are extremely difficult to source. I really like the sig 1911. But with the optic selection of the Springfield, as well as accessory options I would recommend to anyone shopping. Spend the extra money on the Springfield when and if the Trp launches with an optics cut.

    Have a 5inch operator. Talon grips for the front strap. Cost like 3 dollars each. Buy a few sets. Replace as needed. Swapped the grips for black G10 and added a Dawson magwell.

      @@SS-tr5ruThat was me in the early 2000’s with low light shooting. In the late 90’s in the Border Patrol we didn’t use any lights but natural night vision in the dark for low light shooting. The Remington Green and White .40 made literal fireballs. If you closed your eyes as the Beretta Brigadier when it fired, you could keep your natural night vision.

    As far as I'm concerned, God has no need for any kind of caliber, including, if not especially, the .45ACP. That's why God is described at All Mighty. A .45ACP would be less annoying to God than a measly little gnat. And a gnat is nothing to God. Otherwise, nice video.
