*EDIT* The first 8 minutes of this video has been cut out. It shows us walking around Charlie’s 3 personal classic fords but due to unforeseen circumstances I’ve had to cut them out of the video. The video that remains is him showing us around his customers cars at his workshop 😁
This guys passion shows he has respect for old classics and great pride in his work great work guys more decent people like yourselfs in the game needed it keeps my heart beating well done 👍🙏
fiesta, 957cc, fiesta 1.1, 1117cc my first car, ford fiesta 957cc , started with 44 BHP... police used to check your engine number every time they pulled you, so no engine swap was possible after throwing a crankshaft, cylinder head, camshaft, twin webers, big bore exhaust, + custom high discharge ignition, we had 81 BHP at 8000RPM... it used to burn pistons every 4 months, but who cared, faster than any cop car around the streets + along the seafront...
I am from South Africa and have a 4 door Ford Escort 1.3 L 1978 model the same colour as that one you are busy with, the color code is " Nevada Beige Tan" as per code plate in the front on the strut in front of the radiator.😊
Nice to see someone so passionate good on him . Loved that mk1 fiesta and the escort van I have a bit of an escort van fetish I’m afraid I’m hoping to get one this year 🤞. Great vid Mitch I could see you were like a kid in a sweet shop around those old fords 👍
Mark 1 Fiesta Quartz? that was my first Car, right back in 1998. It was a 1983 Y Reg in Copper. I brought it for £400 out of the Freeads (back then it was a Physical copy obviously) unfortunately as time went on the rust kicked in so it had to go.
I've got a roman bronze mk1 fiesta gl , I've put a 1600cc x flow in , I have the whole engine 957cc for sale with 27k on for sale £250 video of it running with gearbox and all auxiliaries if your friend needs ,pickup from London,
Mitch please can I give you some real respectful advice.. keep yours and others.. number plates hidden up .. I have had 2 of my vehicle number plates cloned in the last few months because of them being on show on internet..trust me you can’t believe how much it costed me because they were so clever and I went through hell with courts trying to prove it wasn’t me or my cars .. so please please keep number plates hidden for not just your sake but your friends and the cars they are working on 👍👍 cheers mate and hope you understand I mean well … looking forward to your next videos 👍👍 Tony in Fakenham Norfolk 👍

Your right we definitely discover alot of poor previous repairs on cars we work on! Thankyou for your kind words, your right they will both keep us busy lol and yes take a look @CBombsToms
The Ford era from when most of these cars were produced was dreadful. It really was. Anyone one paying big money for these cars wants their 8o77oks chopping off . They really were dreadful cars. Believe me, they were bad. Looked pretty but that's about it!

The Quartz was a lovely example imo and only a limited run made, very rare in either the bronze or white.
