Mobius may still remain something of an enigma, but how he reacts to X-5’s very reasonable observations-and his fear of facing the truth-provides a lot of insight into the kind of person he is. For now, Mobius remains steadfast in his “ignorance is bliss” approach to his past life. As we’ve seen with Loki, though, everyone is capable of change. Whether Mobius opens up his mind and allows himself to peer into what could have been will be something to look out for in the episodes to come; we may yet see the man get his elusive Jet Ski.

"You're so talented, you're so good... I know you're lying..." Bro literally doesn't understand lying against the god of lies and tricks doesn't work. Loki literally understands ever trick to lying and is the god of it for a reason (He is also the god of Mischief which lovingly shines in this part as well as he toys with Brad)
I mean, he is good, certainly. But let's not overstate it, plenty of people have successfully lied to Loki through his time in the MCU, even in this show.
@@NN-ge2wf He can only be lying to by the people he wants to
except that plenty of people have been able to outwit, outsmart, and deceive him being Thor and black widow for a couple of examples.
@@allanjeffries6937 the superheroes have the plot on their side
That’s why we have the saying “can’t bullshit a bullshitter”
He’s not a villain, Mobius. He’s just not being Mr. Nice Guy at the moment… 😂
Imagine trying to lie to the literal king of deception and lies lol
I like the I've done some horrible terrible things ... Oh, like invading Earth? Causing a war with the Frost Giants? Seizing the throne of Asgard? Setting generator on the Rainbow Bridge to totally destroy Jotunheim and commit genocide? Little things like those? ROFLMAO
Actually not only this
He wanted to kill the avengers his brother and Aldo he had taken new york city as hostage
He is a villain remember 💚
He also transform into a snake and he knew Thor like snakes so Thor went to pick up snake to admire it and he transform back into himself and he was like "Yeah, it's me!" then he stab Thor. They were eight at the time.
Technically he didn't seize the Thorne. Frigga put him in charge because she didn't want to take over while Odin was in his nap
Spoilers: Worth noting that Mobius could always open the door and was playing along with Loki
Like yeah why wouldn’t Mobius know how to open it since he’s been there for longer time than Loki.
Kinda funny to imagine he just tells the guards to ignore his act and it’s part of the plan
“I don’t know what you want I’m not lying!”
The Man said to the God of Lies n’ Mischief
Loki kept rolling nat 20 on insight.
rolling? my friend, the only people who need to roll on insite are mortals...
loki is the god of deception
With expertise and a modifier of 5 as well. You just can’t win 😂
Loki interrogation 101
My pookie rlly said oopsie daisy while nearly killing someone 💚😳
When? Can you leave a time stamp please
Cringe
I love this episode😂
What kind of prison locks from inside
It doesn't. Mobius was faking being locked out.
@@Lollipop.er42No he wasn't
@@Lollipop.er42no
Neither of you two have watched the show clearly.
@@Gamer-cr6oe Why would he fake being locked out?
kind of weird how torture always works in movies
yeah. i guess it's just an easy way to get the audience excited? it'd be less "engaging" to have some other clever way to get the information
especially since torture have been scientifically proven to not work in real life as the one being tortured will say whatever the torturer want to hear even if it is a lie or admit to have done something they did not just to have the torture stop.
@@killansoulslayer591has it? Certainly when the subject is innocent, they’ll say anything to get it to stop, but if they actually know what you want them to tell you and are in fact just being resistant, then you’re exactly right…they’ll say anything to get it to stop. Even the truth.
@@cruallassar7428 yeah but the problem is when the torturer think you know something you don't and wont belive the truth because they think you are just being resistant, making the only way to get the torture to stop is by saying the fake "truth" the torturer want to hear, in essence torture don't work because the one being torture have to say what the torturer want to hear even of its a lie in order for the torture to stop, and the torturer can't know with certainty what the one being tortured know and just have to ques.
@@killansoulslayer591
If you don't know the truth, you die, and won't give the torturer any useful information. BTW, almost always, the torturer does have ways to verify the information, sometimes immediately, sometimes it takes some time.
But if you do know the truth, you'll give it long before you expire. The whole truth, as you understand it.
Meaning, torture most definitely works. Despite the ludicrous propaganda to the contrary.
0:00 😑
Wtf how is this box called? Ive never seen anything like this. Only video human vs prison box from loki or something
Its weird that you can lock it from the inside?
It wasn't locked mobius could get in anytime he wanted to, it was all an act to convince brad he was in actual danger. otherwise he'd know that they never intended to kill him.
There was obviously a lengthy filming break between episodes 1 and 2. You can mainly see it in Brad’s longer hair, Tom’s longer hair and the drastic difference in acting on Tom’s part. In the last episode, he would *NEVER* of had the balls to torture Brad like that or use magic. Instead he would’ve just fumbled, shook in his boots and cried like he has been for the entirety of season 1… You can tell that Waldron left between this episode and last and Tom took over as writer and producer. Someone with *ACTUAL* talent, passion and knowledge on Marvel!
Tom isn’t a writer for the show though…
@@mallk238 He *SHOULD* be! At least he *KNOWS* Marvel and Loki..
@@ZyliceLiddell That's not how that works. Acting and writing are two entirely different skill sets. He's been deeply involved in the production of the show since it was first greenlit. When you say that, you ARE explicitly saying that you don't like what he's done with loki since--despite not being a writer for the show--he's had a lot more influence on the character HERE than he had during the movies.
That's the thing that kills me when I see hot takes like this. People forget that Tom absolutely supports this show and that the way he's been depicted *is* what he wanted to bring to the table. Tom's been bringing his knowledge and passion to the table from the start. Nothing changed in that department. Saying that it did is throwing some very back-handed compliments at the actor you like so much
Had no issue with season won. 2012 Loki got owned a lot and hadn’t had his growth by that period
"You can mainly see it in Brad’s longer hair, Tom’s longer hair " - You know that they both have wigs, don't you?
This show is so terrible
Shitty opinion
Why?
No u
So go get a life instead of wasting air complaining about moving pictures on a screen.
This is the best show ever you maggot
