Hey hey brother watched this before but had to again. And just wanted to say I LOVE the fact you buy and review rifles us regular hard working guys buy!!!!
I have a ruger American ranch rifle in 300 blackout. More less with can you hear the striker go forward and bullet strike the target. They are cool range toys
Voice clarity is excellent! I actually could turn my volume down. That is a great rig and perfect for woodland hunting I reckon. Good luck on your next deer hunt. It was worth all the hassle to get it. Hope your dad had a good flight!
Awesome! Looks like you gotta heck of a deal. Nothing wrong with a Bushnell 3X9 for close range deer hunting, which I guess that's the main use for this rifle. I've got one that works fine on my muzzle loader. Sound was fine btw
"That one I jumped. That one doesn't count." I don't know how many times I've said that. With capped turrets like those I'd recommend a MPBR zero so you can hold center out to your desired max engagement range. If that Bushnell is like the Weaver that came on mine it's probably got a simple duplex reticle.
You're gonna think I'm crazy but I wanted a 300 bolt too as a suppressor host, so I bought (even though I'm nowhere near California) a Kali-Key bolt! when installed turns an AR into bolt action. Works like a CHAMP!
Last year on Black Friday, I bought two of these bing bangs, one in .223, and one in .308. The .308 sheared a bolt on one of the rings on the first range trip, and I didn't figure it out until the second trip. I brought it back to Bass Pro, and they threw a new bolt in there, and it was a less than 2 MOA gun. Same with the .223. So much bing bang for my buck. But the rings aren't super heavy duty. I'm ok with that. I don't abuse my guns anyway.
I got one too on Black Friday. The bolt was super stiff and gritty on lift. I ordered the bolt bearing kit, but I also took the sharp burrs off of the ends of the two bolt springs while I wait for parts and it made a really good improvement on the bolt lift effort. I think for the fun of it I will polish the ends of the springs. I signed up for the Club and got a further $50 off.
We got one of these some months back, and I really like how it groups and the low price, of course. Only two complaints so far. Yes, the bolt lift is more than snug, and my son has to grab the scope with his offhand to open the action. Also, they have had problems with some of the magazines popping out of the rifle at the rear. Tech support at Savage thought that users weren't snapping the magazines in correctly (nonsense). They mailed me another magazine and it doesn't have the same problem. I compared the two mags and on the faulty one the metal tab at the rear was crimped too close to the body (flush). I got the bright idea to tweak it out just a bit, and it went flying across the room.
Awesome like always sorry I haven't been a very good subscriber been hunting really really hard and we moved to area out in the middle of nowhere and have no signal so whenever I get signal I'll be watching thanks for the videos Mr who👍👍
Man this bing bang if more like a bing ding barely makes a noise and with those other boo lots hitting three same hole, anyone who enjoys slinging boo lots will like this little tool. Thanks for another great video of a new tool. 💪🏽🎥💯👍🙏🏻
Good audio, those are good mics. Picked up a couple similar ones for work when we do presentations for clients. Definitely good upgrade for the channel 👌
I’ve got the Ruger American Ranch Rifle in .300 Black Out with my old Redfield 2-7X33 Accupoint reticle…she is a pleasure to shoot and accurate to boot…love me a .300 Black Out…looking forward to using her again on Georgia Pigs 🐷🐷🐷🐖🐖🐖😊😊😊
I have been waiting on this video. I got a black one about 4 months ago. I love it. Mine came with a Bushnell AR optics 3-12 and bipod. I gave $600 for my setup due to the scope.
i dont care much for my axis 350 legend bolt however when it was game time the catch in the bolt didnt mater. but what do you expect from a budget gun.
Sweet gun. I’m sure you’ll find some bullets that the barrel loves . 1/2” or less at 100 yards are probably doable with reloads if your good at whipping up a good recipe.
i bought a ruger ranch 300BO when they first came out for suppressed hunting and did tons of loads/research. I can just save anyone some time here, there's only 1 bullet choice you should make and that's Maker bullets. I'm not sure who all loads maker for their factory ammo since i handload mine. But i've taken a lot of deer and various game with the maker, and they are killing suns of guns. If you youtube maker trex bullets and see the perfect expansion bullet they do in gel, i have pulled them out of game and they do just that. They make the purtiest' petals ever and have never failed me. Paul is the owner of maker bullets, when i first started loading them i called maker bullets number and yes, you talk to paul when you call. He said o i got 3 of them rugers let me find my load data and i'll share it with ya! He did that and gave me starting block. I shoot 200 trex outta my ruger in front of Lil Gun powder and they are mouse fart quiet. i double lung deer with them and have shot a couple really nice bucks and they go about 20-40 yards....hope that helps anyone. My ol ruger and a buddies both shoot 1/2-3/4" moa w/my loads at 75 yards since that's my subsonic 0, 0-75 yds it's never more than 2" leeway and think it drops 4" at 100.
I purchased a savage axis 2 in 6mm arc 18" heavy thredded barrel, bushnell banner 4-12x40 for $349 Still waiting to pick it up. First bolt action set up. Hoping its an excellent addition.
@@dajahvue I have a 243 axis 2 that shoots lights out and is easy to hike with. But the action length is a con. But overall it works and I really like the 13.5 stock. If they offered a mini action it would be sweet As a Canadian gun I wonder how the new laws will affect them.
My Howa doesn’t group at all with Remington subs. It prefers the hornady sub x. I found the Remington doesnt expand at all compared to the hornady. What twist rate does the savage barrel have?
I love savages. I have a savage scout rifle. i don't like the forward mount pic rail. I installed an ar-15 quick detach scope mount installed backwards and it solved my issue for using a traditional scope.
Wow that is great price! They are more here. Back in the day I think Ruger would guarantee 2 inch groups on their custom rifles now you can buy a rifle for less than the cost of a what a good scope used to cost and it includes the scope, the mount, the rings and it gives you better than 2 MOA. Wow!
I sight my subs in at 50 yards clover leafs. Then my supers are 2 inches high at 50 and 2 inches high at 100. My supers are 125 sst. I’ll hunt with the supers and keep the critters off the bird feeder with the subs.
That setup would help maintain hearing for the shooter and everyone around him/her. I don’t know why we can’t all afford suppressors. Well, I do but I can’t hear very good.........
Same accuracy as I got out of my RAR 300BO with that same ammo....and yes...stoopid quiet. Now the Hornady SubX 190gr shoots amazing in my RAR 300BO. But as I recently commented in another of your videos...the SubX aint cutting the mustard on dropping deer.
The subSonic .300AAC will easily will the quiet point. But the 350 Legend easily wins the math. Especially beyond 100 years. It’s good for home defense. 180-220gr at less than 1000 fps just doesn’t do well for distance. Trajectory like a mortar.
I'm looking at these right now and since the vances website dosent specify rather or not it has a threaded barrel you video awnsered my question. It makes the most since that it would bing chambered in 300blk but you can never be to sure. So thank you 😊
Examining the points of contact, there isn’t much glass bedding would achieve. To gain additional rigidity the plastic stock would need to be drop kicked. They took the recoil lug off of the barrel so a recoil lug would need to be added if you go to a chassis or Boyd
Looking forward to see how this goes. I bought my savage 110 12 years ago and am not current with the new rifles. Does the axis come with the accutrigger? I saw the blade but that doesn't mean it is adjustable. I have the first gen accutrigger and it has its own problems.
Great video Adam. Nice rifle. Since i don't hunt, I am more of a target shooter, I sold my bolt actions to build AR platform rifles. I do miss my bolt actions.
I’d be kind of curious to see a 3 way shoot out between the Ruger ‘Merican vs Savage Axis 2 vs Remington SPS 300 BO’s. 2 budget Friendly rifles vs an (opinions vary) upper class rifle! All 3 16” barrels!
Cool rifle! As for the audio it’s clear but it also makes your breathing between your sentences pretty loud too. No big deal to me as we all have to breathe… I’m just saying it’s more noticeable if it’s something you’re concerned with. I’m not 👍🏼👍🏼
Like the new mic, great sound and very clear. 300 blackout suppressed will be ideal for white tail hunt.

fyi paid just as much for my mossburge patriot 30-06 and no complaints sence it dropped a doe in her tracks. gotta love that
Congratulations on the new bullet slinger!!!
Lots of fun to be had!!
I have a ruger American ranch rifle in 300 blackout. More less with can you hear the striker go forward and bullet strike the target. They are cool range toys
the microphone sounds really good. I can't hear any of the annoying breathing or lip smacking like other channels (classic firearms).
Voice clarity is excellent! I actually could turn my volume down. That is a great rig and perfect for woodland hunting I reckon. Good luck on your next deer hunt. It was worth all the hassle to get it. Hope your dad had a good flight!
Whoooo weeee! That shusher can opens a whole new world! Thank you for sharing your new Savage with us. Great rifle- great video!
👍 I like the idea of using the can for hunting . Here in WI. First gun shot of the season has the deer running for the thickest cover they can find !
Love the Savage Axis II XPs. Their .22-250's are lasers!
Good one, never thought I would like a "can" on my deer rifle but as they say, never to old to learn.
Awesome! Looks like you gotta heck of a deal. Nothing wrong with a Bushnell 3X9 for close range deer hunting, which I guess that's the main use for this rifle. I've got one that works fine on my muzzle loader. Sound was fine btw
I have a 300 black out with a 10.5 inch barrel. Love it.
If you want a Ruger American ranch in 300blk my local Orshlands has one!! It would be a good comparison.
"That one I jumped. That one doesn't count."
I don't know how many times I've said that.

Typically not a huge fan of camo stocks but that one is very sharp
I love the sound of the airsoft 300 blackout bolt action? Sweet!!!!
Mic was working just dandy. Another good video!

I bagged a doe last month with a similar rig using Hornady Sub-x at short range.

I was looking at this exact rifle yesterday
Your new mic setup works well. Nice bullet flinger hootie!
Thanks Brett
Hi WTW, do you break in your rifle barrels?
It looks promising….. do a accuracy test after 30-50 shots after the cleaning process?
Could you go over what are good QUALITY LEVER ACTION deer hunting rifles in 2023? Not sure what to buy if I buy new lever actions.
Just picked up one of these bad lads today super stoked to take it out and dial it in.
Congrats. Great deer rifle.
Awesome video brother! I’ve been looking for a Ruger American Ranch in 300 blackout. I think it’s gonna be a deer catching pig slaying machine!

I purchased a savage axis 2 in 6mm arc 18" heavy thredded barrel, bushnell banner 4-12x40 for $349
Still waiting to pick it up. First bolt action set up. Hoping its an excellent addition.
Hooked on these videos over the last couple of days. Audio sounds good.
Appreciate you watching!
New mic sounds good 👌
Thanks to you I picked one up today cant wait to go shoot it youre the man!
Savage needs to make a mini action axis. It would be legit.
They have compacts in the axis 2
@@dajahvue They have the calibers, but the compact is just a stock. all savage axis are 3006 / long action length
@jbcaptain11 dang that sucks. I know the 6.5 have different length barrels for compacts and for some others too

Thanks for posting, Hootee. I'm a big fan of Savage Axis rifles.
Thanks for watching Rich
The suppressor cost more then the rifle but love savage rifles you need to check out the 6.5 Creedmoor pistol buy savage n its bolt action
300blk is the quiescent rifle there is. But remember on subsonic rounds it ricochet very bad scary some times!
I wana see the different types of 300 blackouts vs clayblock video
like subs 220 grain regular 150ish grain and super fast. 75 100 grains
The audio sounds great.
🙏
Just bought the same rifle in 6.5 CM. Can't wait to send some downrange!
Lot of awesomeness right there. !!!!! So quite its unreal to me !!!! Hugh ?? Lol.
That thing is insane! Make as much content with that beast for us Whoteeewho!!
This or ruger American ranch 7.62x39? Just got the ruger haven't even shot it yet
The way the camo looks. That's a night time Coyote killing machine
Been thinking about getting a 308 or 6.5 in this rifle. Good to see you like it. They are definitely affordable.

Good job dude
I know that ammo is pricey; I was wincing every zero shot...looks like a great rifle buddy, hope you enjoy it!
Great videos! I just bought one, a Savage, just like yours tonight at Cabelas.
Nice looking rig
I’d like to see a video of ever gun you own
That Remington stuff isn't the greatest. I've found that Hornady SubX and the Sig Varmint tipped subsonic stuff is super consistent factory ammo.
Nice stuff! 😀
Nice to see a guy reviewing a rifle we can all afford! Not like Guns and Ammo with their $3000-$7000 rifles!

The current Axis II rifles have the accutrigger while the regular Axis does not.
All Axis IIs come with the Accutrigger.
