Its a VERY HARD decision as traction plays a huge role from here. My 16 ATSV w/501 hp & tq at the wheels just murders the tires. I have PS4S on and they break loose all the time. I love the Z06 sound and exclusivity ❤!! The pure rarity makes it unobtainium and that much more special. I love Forced induction ad my last 2 cars Tuned Mk7.5 Golf R tuned to 400hp/380tq & the ATSV. The turbo punch is an Adrenaline ride! However kills tires quickly. The heads & cam package for $15k is $10k cheaper than the 2650 & 4k than the procharger kit or about these #s. The heads cam has enough ho & tq to do the job but not enough to have to worry about excessive throttle control & killing the tires.

I would get the zo6 . Make it a bad ass n/a build , full ti exhaust, headers , ported tb’s , flex fuel e85, cid or frank max effort heads and some custom spec cams . Easy 700+ whp n/a!!!!

Next time do a few 0 to 60 and quater mile pulls so we can see whats truly faster. The z06 starts at 106k and the stingray starts at 67k so does the 30k for the procharger make it faster then the zo6 which costs about 40k more then the stingray.

When I visited Ruck Corvette Conti he said theres a new engine setup coming before the ZR1 was announced and there will be a LONG build run for C8 with the Grand Sport coming soon before C9 models are introduced in 2030 or later as they want all the $$$ they can get out of C8 and to get the production #s to where they should be 40k Stingrays, 15k Erays 15k Z06, 4k-7k ZR1

I need the 3LT/Z packages and there are many items that are needed such as the front lift & GT2 seats, PDR. The 1LZ is base no rear view cameras no blind side monitoring which is much needed. Plus the front cameras only on the 2LZ and up.

They wanted to give me 43K for mine but when I thought about that car note... I passed. Interest rates still insane and I'm basically 800 credit score at 33. I can't justify paying a higher car note than a mortgage when I own a Vette already lol. I wanted it so bad tho.

Good comparison. I live in Canada so our federal government thought we needed a luxury tax added to any vehicle over 100K. Base rate is 13% the extra luxury tax is 20% on top of that. So anything over 100K we pay 33% tax. Hoping to change governments next year. We are taxed to death.

I know this is a Vette channel but you should do a S550 Gt500 vs C8 Stingray or Z06 I'd prefer a F350 6.7 or an S550 Gt500 but the C8 gen of Vette is nice just not something I'd ever own especially since I'm not a GM/Chevy guy, the only Chevy/GM product I'd ever own would be an LBZ/LB7 or L5P Duramax
You can get a Z06 C8 for a low price if the first buyer sells it and voids warranty. Corvette tells you to keep the c8 for 6 months to keep the warranty.

Yes. All C8's so far are NA. And it appears as though some, if not many future models, will be EV, which I'm not a fan of. Btw I have a C7 ZR1 ZTK. And I like the fact I can fill it with fuel much faster than I can charge an EV. BTW, My neighbor had a Tesla Model S plaid and made some runs on a 1/4 track. Drove home. Parked it and connected it to the Tesla charging system. Next day it wouldn't turn on (didn't take a charge and fried the battery). Tesla refused to warranty it since he 'raced' it and subsequently charged it which overheated the battery. He said they complimented his ET's however.

Macmulkin Corvette…Number One Corvette dealership in the World…MSRP only dealership according to their website. They may be like Number 1 Toyota dealership in the world(Longo Toyota) where they may not accept any more pre-orders(I’m guessing because of allocation) BUT especially now with certain cars sitting on lots because of the economy and some holding out for the new ZR1 or Zora…there may be order cancellations or an opportunity to be put on a list…then wait patiently for your eventual dream car…dealer’s choice. The cars above MSRP can collect dust as far as I’m concerned. Buying a plane ticket/driving home or having shipped from an MSRP dealership is cheaper than ridiculous gouging markups…
Z06 isn't quicker, faster around a track... but in a street race or a drag strip, shorter races favor the supercharged c8. My S/C C8 has almost 650whp, the Z06 has 670 at the crank.
I have no idea why anyone would brag about any car (especially a sportscar) being “loaded to the max”…. All options will add weight (except CF wheels)… the worst you can do to a sportscar is to add weight. If you want fast, you want C8 1LT or ZO6 with Z07 and CF wheels and no other options… especially not HTC
It's "loaded to the max" because that's what I prefer, the car is daily driven with weekend trips to the dragstrip or autocross so maybe 1 of each 100 miles is spent on the racetrack, hardy worth giving up 50 lb of luxury. In the 1/4 mile 100 lb will cost you about a 1/10 of a second.
Some people want no compromise. I always like a fully loaded car with full luxury and style plus performance over a s box stripped down to gain 3/10s on a 1/4 mile.
Procharcher has 100 ft./lb. torque more than the ZO6 as well.
He didn't test 0-60 and 60-140. ProCharged has not been tested for years of dependability.

I paid MSRP for my 2LZ coupe. Front lift, machined face wheels and premium color. Cost was $126k, less the $5k rebate after 6mo ownership.

They may be like Number 1 Toyota dealership in the world(Longo Toyota) where they may not accept any more pre-orders(I’m guessing because of allocation) BUT especially now with certain cars sitting on lots because of the economy and some holding out for the new ZR1 or Zora…there may be order cancellations or an opportunity to be put on a list…then wait patiently for your eventual dream car…dealer’s choice. The cars above MSRP can collect dust as far as I’m concerned. Buying a plane ticket/driving home or having shipped from an MSRP dealership is cheaper than ridiculous gouging markups…

Z06 isn't quicker, faster around a track... but in a street race or a drag strip, shorter races favor the supercharged c8. My S/C C8 has almost 650whp, the Z06 has 670 at the crank.

I have no idea why anyone would brag about any car (especially a sportscar) being “loaded to the max”…. All options will add weight (except CF wheels)… the worst you can do to a sportscar is to add weight. If you want fast, you want C8 1LT or ZO6 with Z07 and CF wheels and no other options… especially not HTC
It's "loaded to the max" because that's what I prefer, the car is daily driven with weekend trips to the dragstrip or autocross so maybe 1 of each 100 miles is spent on the racetrack, hardy worth giving up 50 lb of luxury. In the 1/4 mile 100 lb will cost you about a 1/10 of a second.

Sadly the compression is too high & the engine is a race engine with crazy tolerances. Make sure to warm up your Z06 or you'll nuke your engine.
