    Is this the cutest dress on you…ever?! You did a great job on it! And it must feel so cool for summer…much like Farley does in his handsome summer cut! And thanks for watching one of my videos while you worked on this!

    The process is the process. Enjoy it, however you choose to splice it together.
    {nice to see a little Stephanie Canada content - she's got an original pattern for an 1880's bodice}
    The dress is absolutely lovely. Well done, you.
    The living room re-set into a joined sewing room continues. Until them, thank you for the sewing fix.

      @@whatssewingon3511 She's great - I'm giving her Bytown Ottawa cred because she's been to Disney Land and so must have eaten both poutine and Beaver Tails...
      Happy thoughts for the redo are appreciated. It's at the stage where it feels like work. Allot of flippin' work. Le Sigh...
      That dress is So cute.

    I feel exactly the same way about New Look patterns. It's something about the presentation feels very "Sears Catalog" to me. I may have to give them another shot because your dress is ADORABLE! Great job and, as always, thanks for sharing your journey with us ❤️

    That turned out really well. I’m disappointed I don’t have the body type for this style of dress, but looks great on you!

    It's so cute! Looks comfortable like no one's business. And the Stephanie an Farley cameos were fun little flourishes!
    The "which way" conundrum is totally me... sometimes I'll get so frustrated if I don't have someone at hand to verify for me 😕

      Thank you! I’m pretty happy with it! It was weird that there wasn’t a notch, but I figured it out 😅

    I discovered my machine has a stitch in the ditch foot.... it was a DUH MOMENT, of course it works waaaaay better, that's what it's for😊 It's what you learn after you think you know it all that is important
