Super Easy Envelope Pillow Cover made from Bedsheets | Brother 1034dx | Sewing with Thrifted Fabric - Holiday Edition
Hello all- my power was out for a bit last week.. my internet is currently down until possibly SATURDAY this week!!! Hulllo winter. Sorry if the ads are in weird places, I have no control- I’ll fix this when I can log on to my desktop! But hey at least I have heat this week and I can curl up on my new pillows and read a book! Except I’ve been in a video game mood, so I actually don’t want to read but hey.. what else do you do without internet… I can’t even get my daily reward on matchington manor… is this the stone ages?? Ok. I’m overreacting- I’m done. Maybe the world is telling me I need to log off for a bit… hmm
But anywho, I made these cute pillow cases!! I love my super old but super comfy love seats in the living room- but they are a lot less cream since Farley came along..
I saw this cute double bedsheet while thrifting last year and I thought they would make the perfect Christmas pillow covers! I might make some pj bottoms with what’s left over too!
The pattern and construction is so easy for these envelope pillow covers. The measurements will work for any size pillow- Perfect for beginners!
I made mine with my Brother 1034dx serger and my sewing machine for the back envelope edge, but this can be done easily with just your sewing machine or by hand sewing! These are definitely in the 1 hour sewing project category!
Pattern Measurements
Measure pillow width and height
Mine is 19x19
Front piece add 1 inch to both (cut 20w x 20h)
Back piece add 1 inch to width and 6 inches to height (cut 20w x 25h)
