Omg the dress is so cute, and I love that print. Getting sheets from target is such a great idea. They are always having sales and even do price matching with their web sales.
I love how it came out, if you ask me the stiffness from the thickness of the bow works. Especially, to keep the dress structured, so it doesn’t fall in the back, and the extra poofiness that it adds.
Hi Alexandra. I’m a big fan of your TH-cam/Instagram videos. Your probably not going to read this, but I had a video idea I think you might enjoy, because you get to be creative, without having to follow any patterns. You have made so many wonderful themed Disney princess and Barbie dresses. Why don’t you design a dress that you would wear if you were a princess in a fairy tale. This gives you the opportunity to pick any pattern, fabric, colours, you want. And it will take away any stress of recreating a dress that already exists.
@@arxsyn I honestly don't know. Good question. I don't buy fabric but now I'll check it out. One thing for sure, you can find some pretty funky, vintage sheets there. 😊
I loved watching this video. I’m planning on making a sundress for myself this summer. I have a vintage bedsheet from the 70s I’m planning on using. This video really inspired and motivated me to get started on this project!
What a cute dress I love the idea of buying bedding you like to make into dresses I’m going to be using that idea as I keep sewing I also share my sewing journey on my channel. I’m loving learning to sew xx
That is so cute! I have some really fun vintage sheets from the 70s that I got when I worked in a vintage store that I've been saving. I think this dress would be great with them! :)
I hear that teal art supplies cart next to your piano! Lo But this was gorgeous!!! I find watching your videos so relaxing and satisfying. I could listen to you all day 💜
Hey Alexandra. It looks beautiful. I especially love the bow it's so cute. You see after I started watching your videos I've been practising and I'm in the middle of making a dress for my sister's Barbie doll. This is just a request but could you make a video showing how to make a dress for the summer... like a step by step tutorial coz I wanted to make myself a dress for the summer. Btw my name's fareeha and I'm 13 so I'm not that good at this kinda stuff. 😂
Your darts do feel a bit pointy but there’s definitely a learning curve 😬 i still struggle sometimes and I’ve done so many 🤣 I’ve used this tutorial for my own darts and it works nicely ✨ th-cam.com/video/D8M_TLn_do4/w-d-xo.html

Sheets are great idea. Our local thrift store has a variety of sheets, some vintage, that sell for around $4 -$8 a set.
Is this a cheaper option than buying fabric by the yard?

I think it would be super cute to turn the bag the sheets came in into a purse/bookbag. Just add some straps and wahlah!

My immediate reaction is that it’s just really flattering
It came out so cute! The bow was really nice and I LOVE the full skirt! And you clowning around with the matching lamp and bedding was adorable.
Even though the ballgowns are super fun to see I like it when you make wearable stuff too

Can you tell me about some online fashion school 🙏. And can you make a detailed video of how to become a fashion designer
I like the way you just kept talking after recommending using a hair straightener for ironing straps as if you didn't just change my whole life
I wish could do this (atm it’s impossible due to moving and the mess that comes with it).
You should have used the comforter as a coat!
About pointy darts: Do you know the hack about not cutting them straight, but curving at the "tip"?
The lamp lolol
Fantastic 😍🌸🏵️❤️🌸❇️
Can you make Alice in wonderland dresses?
while watching anyone else got an add about bamboo infused bed sheets?
