I used this on my Muck boots 2 years ago. It worked great and the repairs are still holding and waterproof. Highly recommend.

I have a 2 yr old pair of big LACROSSE rubber boots that I love, and were pretty expensive. Sadly the rubber cracked on both boots on the back seam and on the top and side of the boots, tried to return them to the company in the hopes of getting a new pair but they made it a huge pain in the ass, so I just kept the boots and still wear them. Trying to still figure out a way to seal/ fix the cracks. I don't want to throw away the boots because I like them so much

What brand of rubber boots are those on the left at the 4:30 mark?

If you haven't found out in the last 3 years........They're called Xtra Tuffs.
They used to be really good, probably the best out there. But they moved their manufacturing to China about (I'm guessing) 5 (-10?) years ago. They're no better than anything else now. My daughter had a pair rip up after less than 6 months, and sadly several friends have had similar experiences.
I'll stick with my mucks for now...though they have done the same thing, seemingly with similar results.

Or...1. Clean area with alcohol. 2. Buy rubber patch. 3. Apply the glue that comes with patch. 4. Apply patch. 5, Done.

This is as expensive as the boots itself.

Looks like the guy should've used the nippers...instead of the knife! Get him to a 🏥 to get a tetnus 💉 and a 🩹!

+fraggel459 As if muck boots are high fashion to begin with? It's meant to be a fix for a pair of VERY expensive boots. I'd rather have an ugly repair than pay $150 for another pair when mine are otherwise perfectly fine.

What a stupid product. Ever hear of a screw on cap? Guy keeps saying simple as he goes through 100 steps just to use the stuff and slices his finger open in the process. A little gorilla glue and a waterproof material is all you need.
