Yes i have. They do make it in black...better color for hunting. Also since you guys like this stuff try loon wader repair . i'll post a link below. It works on the fly with just sunlight,or with a UV light instantaneously !

How often does someone have to fix High N Dry waders. I see you talking about them alot and I was just wanting to know.
How much does High and Dry waders need to be repaired
THEOUTDOOR REVIEW much less than other brands. I suppose it depends on abuse.
Just take a hundred dollar bill and superglue it onto the tear. Ones won't work. Fives tens and twenties won't work either. A fifty might work..
Thanks, I found out that the 3M Marine Adhesive Sealant 5200 comes in black color too.
Been using this for many years and it always works. TIP: when you are done with the tube of 5200, put it in the freezer to store it. If not, it WILL dry up on you and be of no use to ya. This is expensive calk, so this is the way to store it so you don't waste your money. GREAT STUFF FOR ALL WADERS.
That is an awesome tip. I bet it works for a lot of different adhesives too
I have had great success with aqua seal on neoprene waders. My patches all lasted at least two years or more. That's pretty good in my book.
Have you used the 3m as well? Curious as to what you prefer.

I haven't had the joy of a leaky wader, but my buddy used windshield adhesive on his never leaked again!
I had a buddy replace a windshield with 5200 too! They seem to be very similar.
I literally just fixed my waders right before I watched this. I even have the 5200

I wonder how it would work on glueing soles back on tennis shoes when the glue releases? I've used it on my boat before. I've always used Aquaseal but will start using this instead.
It should work fine on tennis shoes.

Does 5200 come in green or tan rather than white?
D. Eburg it does come in black, but it’s a slower process than the white. Takes a few days to cure.
will it work on rubber boots and do you have to prepare the area for the glue before you apply.
We’ve tried the flex seal on waders and it works for about a hunt but for that hunt you will still have a wet spot

Thanks for the great tip! I used the 3M5200 on a tear on the neoprene boot of my winter riding/field boot and so far, looks like it will hold...will see after winter! Didn't know it came in black, so I used a black marker all over the white patch! Works for me!
Did this work? I have the same problem. Tore the neoprene on a brand new pair of boots on the first day of hunting. Hoping this will work
I worked in the marine industry for many years. We would use 5200 to seal the outboard to the hull of the boat. When replacing motors that have been on boats for years we would end up ripping the gelcote off of the fiberglass and not breaking the 5200 at all. Everyone talks about DUCK tape that is nonsence. 5200 can fix any thing and it is PERMANENT.
Thanks for the tip Joel. I have been using 5200 for years in the marine environment for many different boat-related projects and there is nothing better but never thought of using it for waders. What a great idea.
I have tried flex seal does not work lol
Adam Stalsberg I just patched mine using clear flex seal, covered with waterproof gorilla tape, covered again with flex seal. Worked great today, hope it lasts.
I am a carpenter. I deal a lot with waterproofing decks and roof. For said parts of the house, I use masterseal m 200. More or less liquid rubber, paint on volcom ect. Would this this work for hip waders? Can apply polyester reinforce fabric to bond better. Any advice is much appreciated.
I tie flies and there is a product to create heads on flexible flies that is basically a gel that turns into rubber, I just get a paint brush and put a few coats over the area that is leaking you don't even have to find the exact spot. And no more leak. I'm sure it will wear down after some use but it's cheap and one jar I could paint the entire waders with several times

I also tie flys but I'm new to it. What is the resin you're talking about? I want to use it to help re-enforce my Turkey nymphs.

I used 5200 on my boot that has a cut in it. Made it 3 hunts and the 5200 started to peel off. Im wondering what i did wrong when i applied the 5200
Flex seal tape works great works better when you heat it up a little with a hairdryer too!
I used this product on my waders that had a terrible leak in the crotch, not a good place to get wet! Works amazing! Thanks for the info.
go to your local aircraft mechanic and get some proseal. it a 2 part mix like a rubber jb weld
That hole could be fixed with a tire patch. Old school.

If it’s a big tear or hole do I need a patch? If so, do I seal the patch with it’s included adhesive and then coat with 5200 or just use 5200 on the whole process?
You should probably use something for backing. Just smear the 5200 over it.
It does come in black and grey.

Anybody used this to repair a hole on the sole of the boot?
The uppers on boots can be repaired but the tread part...forget it. Sorry that's not repairable.
Actually, I know of a couple people who have, and they said it worked perfectly!
These scrubs didn't even mention flex TAPE. Flex tape works, patched a hole opening weekend last year and its still holding tight after around 50-60 outings
I've never had any flex seal, including tape work for me. It always leaks some where. Either it's a 50/50 chance of getting a good bottle or I just kept getting bad products.

I know that this is a year old but I thought I would say this to you.. I used to be a surfer and I would Surf every day for 5 years. Now the best wetsuit I've ever seen is ever seen was Patagonia. I say it was the best because I would bash and rocks and stuff and I was constantly moving in that stupid thing for 3 hours A-day. I feel like a few implements some of that technology into the wet suit should work out. Also surfers have some pretty good patch kits for their wetsuits which is neopream you can look into that.
Currently letting flex seal dry on my breathable water seam right now 😒
When it cracks, just peel it off and then use 5200 👍🏻
