REINA!!! OH MY GOODNESS! A sweet, cute, bubbly, girlie... Oh my gosh. Big love. Oh my g-d, Ryis... There's a good potential he's my total type lol. I hope they have multiple save files, I really wanna court Eiland, Reina, Adeline, & Ryis
I'll say I'm definitely gonna go for ether Baylor or March because Baylor gives me fire emblem vibes and I am curious with his back story and March is literally looks and acts like one of my friends named morsin and I really like him and also see him being like how Marlin is in harvest moon now I'm not into girls but if I had to choose I definitely like sine she is definitely Mena/ sailor Venus and she is definitely cute and Jupiter definitely seems like Merlin from seven deadly sins so I wouldn't mind them two but if course I'm definitely into the guys and the game itself looks really good I'm a fan of harvest moon wonderful life and another wonderful life and DS cute and I'm a big fan of sailor moon so I really hope to play this game ❤
I actually really liked March's concept. And that's what they are, concepts, not redesigns. I like his final too. But from an artists' standpoint, the "intense" expression is favored bc of it's clarity and character.
Now that I look at the characters more Celine looks more like Sailor Venus with Sailor Mercury's(or another soft/gentle) personality while Adaline kind of looks a dark skinned Usagi/Sailor Moon(or an older Chibiusa/Sailor Chibi Moon due to the pink hair) with slightly shorter hair. I think they both look really nice no matter how they look, everyone looks really great the people behind this game did a great job. I also find it interesting that Hayden has a visible farmers' tan since I don't see characters with tan lines often in games. It's sad the wizard in Stardew Valley isn't a bachelor, there was a chance to make him one in a vote on Twitter & he lost to Shane by a vote or two. The mystery bachelor is a dragon, I know this is 4 months old at the time of posting this but one of the candidates is the dragon that's currently a dragon statue on your farm. I'm going for him he's mysterious but also a really nice person that takes interest in what you have to say about the world around you.(Probably since he's stuck in statue form & things have changed since he was last around)
People are getting impatient for a release date for this game since it's suppose to come out this year, despite the fact their twitter is pretty active. I personally would rather they take their time an create and awesome game since this IS my most anticipated new game this year. Anyway, here are my impressions of the LIs- Celine- It's like the devs put me into a farming sim lol. I would totally dress like that too. Being a straight female, when it comes to Female LIs, for me it's who I'd want to be best friends with lol. Like in SDV, Leah would so be my best friend in the game, and also Emily. Celine I could easily see myself getting along with, but I am going to wait until I play a good chunk of this game before deciding lol. Balor- Design wise Balor has one of my favs and while I normally don't go for the flirts, I am willing to give him a chance lol. I am very partial to guys with a bit longer hair and his color scheme is blue (sucker for blue). Adeline- I have friends like her, so yeah another one I can totally see becoming friends with. Love her design too. Hayden- Not my fav char design if I am being honest. I don't like chars that look a lot older than my own, just my personal preference. @6:24- *Sees my comment* Now I wish I knew what I fully said hahaha. Juniper- Miss Sassy for sure. She got the classic "Ha, ha, ha" laugh trope that you see from anime girls lol. I am holding reservations on her because these types can be hit or miss for me. Now I like befriending everyone in the game for any perks, but as far as wanting to be friends in my own headcannon, that's another story. Eiland- Another fav design. I wouldn't be surprised if he and Adeline were related due to how similar their color schemes are and it is pretty common to have siblings as LIs in games like this. But yeah I am going to have my eye on him for sure. Reina- @10:03- Hate to correct you, but the person you're zeroing in on isn't Reina, since her sprite is right above that in the spot where you first meet her. I definitely think she's going to be one of the fun and perky kind of chars I enjoy being around. March- Male tsunderes are normally one of my favs, but March looks too much like a baby face . . and that stinks! Couldn't that have given him a more chiseled look in the face department? For me he has the opposite problem of Hayden, he looks too young. Valen- Definitely androgenous. I think that's fine. I am very curious about her and what she's like. Ryis- I get the feeling that he's going to be the 'guy next door type'. Not my fav look wise, but I am willing to see how compatible he is. Generally speaking though, these types of guys I normally stay friends with since I grew up with those kinds of guys in my life that are related to me. For the Mysterious LIs, I just hope we meet them in game at least. Heck maybe the game devs will show what they look like when they actually do have a release date. Great video Eli! for me a lot of the characters so far are too... nice. like i get that its a relaxing game but i just want them to make fun of me casually 😂 (game cube animal crossing vibes) at least i have dialog options to poke fun at them ahahaha
Yeah, I do kind of agree. I think the problem is… there are too few problems in the town, haha. Like, there should be a couple of villagers who dislike each other. There should be issues to be resolved. It makes me like Juniper and March a bit more haha.

Hayden looks like a cross between Gale and Halsin from bg3. The Bachelorettes really don't do it for me. I like the design for Adeline, but I'm not crazy about the nobility part. Reina seems cute, but a little two dimensional. I actually liked Valen's concept art better. The bags under the eyes were a bit more obvious, as were the glasses being glasses (I thought they were a nurses cap at first). The character development and writing will play a big part in who I choose to woo of course, but right now no one is calling to me.
