It does kind of give off Magical Melody vibes! The first hour of the game is interesting because it’s typical farming sim intro mixed with the typical Pokémon intro.
The only thing I'm kinda left wondering about is why Saphir has green hair instead of blue -- he seems to be the only one going against the "gemstone" naming convention with his character design. Of course emerald was already taken, but if you're gonna stick to a theme, why not name him Malachi or Varis or whatever. Also, yes, I know that sapphires can be other colors than just blue, but in this particular case it's very odd 😅
Yeah, this game is based on a great idea! I remember seeing the kickstarter years ago and wondering what it would be like. Glad to see it coming together!
@@cloudstrife8 Plus side you'll get the full game when it drops instead of getting to a point where you're waiting for next patch to continue things(right now 3 characters only go to level 2 affection meaning you're short 2 talent points to maxing all talents)
I've been waiting years and years for this game, glad that it's so close! I'm still playing the demo but I love it so far (the last demo I played for this game was literally just your farm). I'm not sure which candidate I'll go for yet, I might wait to see their events and decide later on. But so far these are the ones I'm interested in: Lapis, for the enemy's to lover/bad boy plot. Lazuli, because I always love an interesting backstory and candidates that are kinda of trapped (like Keira from HM:DS). Charoi, because she's basically the spunky version of my character and I think their love story would be cute (I always go for all purple but with softer aesthetics). Garnet, because I loved her personality in the demo. Saphir, for his looks (but his personality might be too "soft") especially because my IRL SO loves green and has green eyes as well.
I agree on Lapis! I am very excited to watch his storyline. I think Saphir is at the bottom of my list though since, as you said, he’s too soft, haha. I am excited to get to know all of them better though. Some of them I can kind of guess how the storyline will go, but others I don’t know where they will take the storyline.
Harvest moon games may have shied away from serving alcohol but a lot of other farming simulation games still do serve alcohol. Some examples are coral island, stardew valley and the rune factory series.
So stoked for this game! Excited that it's finally almost here :) I'm torn between romancing Flint (seems like a sweetheart), Jasper, Garnet (love her spunky personality), or Charoi for my first playthrough. I love Carnelian's character design, but I'm kinda picky about characters who start off snobby, lol. I hope there's some growth if you romance him! This sneak peak into the romances seems pretty promising
Haha, thanks! I have several outtakes for this video because I fumbled over the words, hahaha. A couple lines I had to say slowly and edit out the gaps. I believe the line about “blob breeding” gave me trouble haha.

You're right! He does look a lot like Rick! His personality is tuned up a few notches though, haha. Also, there is a demo if you wanna check it out early.
Never even heard of this game. I would try the demo, but my PC can't handle 3D games like this. Demo's only on Steam right? The fact that most of the LIs here have Stone names is interesting too. Even the ones with names I didn't recognize, makes me wonder they are stone names too. Based on what I've seen (and I am a straight female), are Lapis and Flint. Carnelian has potential since I like to bring the arrogant ones down a peg. I bet he and Lapis butt heads.
@@elithegaymer Well good news, the demo worked fine on my PC lol. I think it helped that the graphics were simple. I really liked it, but did make a suggestion to the devs. I'd like to be able to separate my items (like if I had 5 shrimp, I'd like to save 3 and sell 2 of them, but I can't separate them like I can in other farming sims). Fav bachelor so far is Lapiz, I love my kudures (silent, cold types) lol.
As much as I'm excited for this game I'm not really sure about the marriage candidates though I guess Lapis, Flint or Carnelian though maybe not Carnelian. His appearance is nice but his personality annoys me from what I've seen here, might rethink things if he gets better.
Yeah, it appears that Flint’s blob was changed sometime in the development process. If you go to the kickstarter, you can see that it used to be the one in this video.

Yeah, right now the demo is steam only. It might have a console demo later closer to the console launch though.

If Carnelian isn't as bad as Allen (HM: ANB) then i think i can handle him lol.
