@@soulswordobrigadosegostar I mean it still _looks_ like a SNES Megaman X so wether the gameplay has been "upgraded" to ressemble the PS1 Era of X games i don't see why that would be a detriment for retro fans when most of the assets, backgrounds, soundtracks and atmosphere in this game are very much in tone with the original X trilogy on the SNES. If even then you feel it's lost the "classic" feel from X, X2 and X3 you can always hope JKB will add a Classic Mode feature allowing oldschool fans to enjoy the full game with a toned down gameplay in tune with the one in the SNES trilogy.

Force Starfish's attacks has changed. Last time I watched Force Starfish battle, the charged attacks were ricochetted in some angles. It's pretty hard. Now the update came, it was nerfed. The battle is twerking for the better.
Maybe the version we're looking at is more so of a difficulty version of Force Starfish being fought against rather than them making changes update wise(Seriously hoping that's the case, as I'm not a fan of 💩 being nerfed)..
YES! This track needs to be used for some of the maverick bosses. Half of the mavericks bosses with this track, and other half with the other boss theme. Same thing I was saying about the midbosses. Use both old and new midboss tracks. They're both good.
This boss theme has been part of the game for a long time now. It's used when you face the final four mavericks. The other boss theme is used for the first four mavericks you faced

Is this game gonna be available for everyone to play? Been more than a decade and half since we see X Corrupted gameplay footage but no available demos or info about the game being available for gameplay.
Megaman X6 speedrunner HideofBeast might if he ever got the chance although seeing as he hasn't posted speedruns in years he might already be unavailable to try a no damage run on X Corrupted.
Why? I wouldn't mind if the main menu screen had a "Sound Test" mode allowing players to hear all the tracks in the game to their leisure just like in the X trilogy on the SNES. Now that would be epic indeed.

@@Holewes When you hear this music during boss fight, it's because FF effect is active. So, if Starfish is not defeated in the fourth maverick killed, mid-boss and kraken will be stronger. Therefore, I don't think it's a redesign but the consequence of the Starfish FF effect. Kraken is stronger I guess here.

You already have so many tools, on top of the obligatory weaknesses. Not usually a fan of seeing of nerfs

It'll be fun to watch them speedruns of all those Megaman speedrun channels like MegaQuint, ShadowRockZX, HideofBeast and Shadowserg.
I think it's harder against the Mosquito maverick because he spawn more mini enemies around him.

Yes, and this prevents the 'Giga' enemies (minibosses) from getting a power up.
