Wonder if the Corrupted Ultimate Armor will be used in some sort of NG+ unless JKB just programmed it in the get weapon screen as a fail safe to keep the game from crashing

Neurohack Mosquito weapon function kinda like Anchor Nexus from Luminous Avenger iX. Lock-on to nearest enemy and ram dash at them, dealing damage and recoil jump away from target

I just find it incredible that the guy has been making the same game for over 13 years and doesn't finish it soon, he'll spend 20 years on this project and won't release it

I honestly don't know how I feel about this addition. On one hand, it is cool to have X being capable of greater damage output. On the other hand, Zero being the heavy hitter of the two was always his main gimmick. Let me explain: Zero was always capable of greater damage potential than X ever since he became a main stay in X4. The drawbacks to him was that his weapon required him to be at close range to the enemies, minimising your reaction time and making it harder to dodge their attacks while also being more prone to damage than X. X, on the other hand, was the safer, more versatile approach to Zero's playstyle. With his X-Buster he could attack from range, and with the use of his special weapons and armors, he had a greater set of abilities than Zero, at the cost of damage output, which even then, depends heavily on how often you use your special weapons, or how cracked the armor for that specific game was, which could turn X into a powerhouse on his own right. So, in short, Zero was the heavy risk, high reward character while X was the safer and more versatile character. And I sincerely feel that the inclusion of this mechanic for X kinda damages the balance between the two of them. But I realize that I could be wrong about it, and this mechanic could very well be a nice inclusion to X's arsenal, without compromising on Zero's main gimmick as a playable character. So, in the end, I guess the best thing to do is to trust JKB on this and see how it actually plays out if the game actually ever releases.

They need to balance Vuplex's World Power so you aren't infinite XP farming off those portals.

This stage really gives off the most 8-bit Mega Man difficulty vibes. & the boss for the stage speed is it's key to it's difficulty.

I can't wait for this to be done. I'm personally gonna have my son play all of the X games from X1 through X4 on emulator, then finally this. Yes, I'm skipping the rest of the stuff in between.
