About the Flying Zero glitch in X8, you can press Up > Forward > Down and Zero will fly UP AND FORWARD to the end of the current map. So yeah, if you don't want the hassle of going through the monsters, do that
Sadly the Zero flying glitch was also patched in the Legacy Collection. Also that infinite charge shot glitch is dope. I'm surprised I never heard of it.
for x7 i think the only real glitch is the fact that Zero's weapon from the god damn onion literally is able to do maverick-weakness damage to almost every single boss in the game including the maverick you get it from. It's like they coded the base damage for it and never bothered to put things like weakness/resistances except for warfly who's the only one who flinches on it. Seriously it's too fucking busted.
Same happens to charged Splash Laser (Works even on Warfly) and Explosion for most bosses. Those aren't really glitches though, just oversights in design (though very large ones)
I think the X1 ceiling glitch screws up the colors because there's probably a certain location that when you pass through it, the game changes the palette for the rest of the level. Since you bypass that location, the palette never swaps and you get the weird green background in the second half of the level.
You don't have to use the Shoryuken during the Sigma 1 fight in Mega Man X2 to be invincible. You remain invincible until you go the menu screen. (I posted a video showing this glitch years ago that proves that.)
Actually, there's a glitch in Megaman X7 where if you boot up the game while blowing into a copy of Super Mario Bros., then buy a shotgun, eject the game, and throw it in the air like a Frisbee, you automatically warp to the third level of Duck Hunt. Not only does this save your PS2, but it turns X7 into a much better, more satisfying game, and there's no dog to laugh at you.
I just remembered one glitch X7 had that I think I saw from either speed runners or 100% guides. Rescuable reploids can only be killed when they’re on-screen. If they’re off screen, they will not be effected by enemy attacks. This trick is useful in Flame Hyenard’s stage where you have to save reploids from proximity bombs. Just get close to the bombs to trigger their countdowns, and then run away so they explode off-screen, and the rescuable reploids won’t be killed and you can reach them easier. Only useful if you’re doing 100%, you’re trying to unlock X sooner, or you want to max out on all the parts.
10:00 I prefer when you use the Nova Strike and cause Web Spider's HP to stack overflow. They still die too! There's an example somewhere in Magnus Zero's runs.
It's not a glitch but, one thing that I always questioned in X2 was how before the final boss, you fall for a short time but then land in a completely enclosed room. How did X get in this room without any openings in the walls or ceiling?
In x3 the zero glitch unfortunately doesn't allow you to fight bosses as him, just enter the room, as soon as the door closes or the boss hp shows, x will call you and force you to swap anyway. Also X6 invincibility glitch can work with falcon armor x2 but the timing and placement needs to be perfect during his air dash, pulled it off only once by mistake.
i don't use glitches in these games (besides X6 lol) but my favorites from the ones i've seen are X1: phantom grab (magic carpet) X2: shoryuken into fake zero cutscene so zero hits you during the cutscene X3: crush crawfish quick kill X4: body armor early glitch X5: ultimate buster f-laser swap rapid fire glitch X6: ensuizan invincibility X7: honestly unaware of any glitches beyond some silly landing physics sometimes X8: infinite metal glitch (which i believe is only possible in the ps2 version)
That Axl glitch in X8 is actually super useful since the medal glitch was patched. It worked better than expected to be honest. Did it once and left my PS4 on, switched the TV off and went to sleep. 8 hours later, I have more than 800k medals and I bought all the stuff I need, including using the cheat codes to unlock everything including the three navigators as playable characters.
The metal farming glitch is unfortunately the only glitch you can do in Mega Man X8 in the Legacy Collection, and yes, I'm still reminding you to do a review on X8.
To be fair, the Guard Shell is not a glitch. That's how the weapon works. Don't believe? Take the Ultimate Armor and fire a charge shot with the Shell equipped and walk to where the charge shot lands and watch how the Plasma Generator do damage, MUCH faster... it's because of the Guard Shell.
I don't normally go for glitches as I like to play them as they were intended, but fun list nonetheless. I vaguely remember there being another glitch in MMX1 where you can break the game if you dash through the room before Zero and Vile are done fighting in the first Sigma stage.
Should’ve stated how the best “glitch” for X7 would be to play the Japanese version, because then the game is at least halfway playable because of damage values and HP not being halved/doubled in the US release. Or I guess you could’ve mentioned the speedrun tactic of abusing the stupid Onion’s weapon since everything is weak to it.
A better version of the X8 Metals "glitch" is to save up for a Metal Generator, go to Noah's Park, then keep walking to the left of the stage endlessly, either by keeping the analog stick to the left, or asking for help; there is no "wall" in the furthest left of the start of said stage, so you'll be endlessly "walking/ running" in that direction until you stop yourself ofc... works on the Legacy Collection, as I hung my Switch Jon-Con til the next morning...
I guess Megaman Xtreme, Xtreme 2, X Command Mission and Maverick Hunter X do not exist for you, either that or you have some extraordinary standards, of what you would consider an X game...
so some of the x1 glitches or programing oversites are corrected in rom v1 so some of them dont still work past the first version and then depending on what region you have its even wilder, as for the mm3 player 2 debug that is nothing more then a debug option that they forgot to take out before printing the rom chips back in the day, ducktales 1 on nes has a very simmilar player 2 controller debug that works simmilar so not a glitch but a oversight they forgot to take out before retail, not sure if the blizzard buffalo issue is a glitch but a way to abuse the ai into thinking your somewhere that they didnt consider, tunnel rhino has a messed up ai as well if you die at anytime before the boss doors too, partialy due to the c4 chip if memory serves, for the ps1 x games yes, x4 has the zero murder saber but by 6 i think it was programmed in kinda like super metroid wall jumping so not sure if at that point its really a glitch, im suprised that you didnt show off the x6 overflow bug where you can equip as many of the chips you want making an already buggy game even more fun, x7 the stonekong bug is a legacy collection bug and they never patched it so its not a bug in the orginal ps2 version,
Oh yeah, the parts overflow glitch on X6 is very fun to use, as pretty much (when it doesn't come to the limited parts) you only need to grind to A rank to use them all and is stupidly busted, and the "Invisible Stongekong" bug is a fatal one that once you die, the collection dies on you (AKA: The game crashes, forcing your PC or the console of your choice to forcefully close the collection).
There's another glitch I remember doing in X3 for blizzard Buffalo that's similar to Zero's shield glitch with I frames in x6 but it literally kills you. When get his health down to where he uses his long ice beam, have him positioned at the corner facing away shooting it and come in contact facing him (your pinned between Buffalo and the wall essentially). Using the parasitic bomb while trying to beak free from being frozen, you end up taking contact damage every time you use the weapon essentially killing yourself. I used a turbo fire in that case trying to finish the fight and my health melted almost instantly.
I don't know about any Zero series glitches besides a 2 appearing next to Elpizo's foot when he dashes in one cutscene, but I do know about a funny exploit from Zero 1 where you can cancel the first slash by putting up the Shield Boomerang.
Well I'm glad to hear you have so many friends and play megaman at parties. Sounds like my kind of party I enjoy with my friend the couch TV and PlayStation
Not sure if this counts but theres a glitched password in X1 If executed without the game showing the demo it starts in the highway stage without hp, if you watch the demo before executing it it will give you all weapons + all heart tanks + all subtanks but no armor upgrades in the highway stage. Even in game there are some graphical glitches and its the only way i know to finish this game without the legs upgrade
im so proud of myself coz i knew the x4 zero dash cancel glitch. i did it in Pc back then, i had a controller with turbo so I would just spam the dash while pressing the attack turbo vioala OP zero 😂
Not exactly a glitch, but just for filling a spot for x7, whenever you swap weapons in x7 while you goide wether it's x or axl, or even on any other action you do like walking, so zero too, it resets the animation of the characters to them standing or not moving, it happens when walking or dashing making you slower sometimes by constantly stopping you if you change weapons too much, which is the only case where it's slightly useful to stop if you have too much momentum in front of enemies or falls, but most of the time especially with x and axl glide, it makes you lose your gliding making you fall, often to your death, which makes it quite useless I guess, but on rare occasions it can save you. Other than that, on random occasions, on a character swap the game might think your still the same character you used before swap, so you might get a zero or axl with glide armor x defense, which would make quite an upgrade making zero and axl much stronger characters with that added defense, but, vice versa you could also get the oppsite x, with zero's or axl's defense, or lack there of defense, no one knows how it happens, if there's a trick to control it, like an rng manipulation, but if there was a trick, it would make the game much more easier with that addeddefense, especially if you take in consideration the fact that axl and zero would have most of the chips and life upgrades from rescueable reploids, x despite having the best defense in glide armor is weakened by not having any reploid chip or life upgrade making that defense boost not that useful until a new game plus, giving that defense to a life and chip boosted zero or axl, makes them actually quite strong and durable, and if I'm not wrong they get also the magnet helmet and the resistance to knockback too.
hello there I am Brantley Tisdell I was wondering if you can make more videos of MEGA MAN X Cause I really like like all of the stuff that you do And can you play all the MEGA MAN X games first to Eight
Eh, the Ensuizan glitch is honestly not very interesting. I think one fun glitch is with X's charged Ground Dash, which, if you do some very specific things, can "freeze" the stage around you until you either charge another one out or die. It creates some wacky effects but it's pretty much useless. I think one of the activation methods is getting yourself hit, getting inside the bottom of a upgrade capsule and then charging-shooting it out? Not sure.
I think glitches are any unintended behavior, so yes AI exploits count, they're just more plentiful. If only it wouldn't be extremely silly to do a separate video for AI exploits..
You are saying Hadouken wrong. They literally say it out loud in Street Fighter 2, so I know you are pronouncing it incorrectly. It's Ha DO ken, not "Ha DOE Ken". Also, you actually can beat the final boss on Mega Man X in one hit with the regular Hadouken.
About the Flying Zero glitch in X8, you can press Up > Forward > Down and Zero will fly UP AND FORWARD to the end of the current map. So yeah, if you don't want the hassle of going through the monsters, do that
He doesn't do that in the Legacy collection bro.
@@FredMaverik Oh really? I didn't buy the X Collections so I didn't know
Sadly the Zero flying glitch was also patched in the Legacy Collection.

5:07 And then, BOOM! synchronization in the video😊

Zero punched the floor really, REALLY hard. That's how it happened. Yup.

To lessen European players' confusion: the second Mega Man X1 glitch was patched out in PAL versions of the game.
I love glitch trivia. The only one I knew about, and I think I discovered it for myself instead of using the Internet, was X8's metal farming.
i don't use glitches in these games (besides X6 lol) but my favorites from the ones i've seen are
X1: phantom grab (magic carpet)
X2: shoryuken into fake zero cutscene so zero hits you during the cutscene
X3: crush crawfish quick kill
X4: body armor early glitch
X5: ultimate buster f-laser swap rapid fire glitch
X6: ensuizan invincibility
X7: honestly unaware of any glitches beyond some silly landing physics sometimes
X8: infinite metal glitch (which i believe is only possible in the ps2 version)

It's not a glitch because it's intended.
2:00 This glitch was my introduction to video game glitches during my childhood.

Fun Fact about the Saber Dash Cancel, it shows up in Project X Zone during one of Zero's combo attacks with X!

That looks like the charged shots with the X buster after the Zero chip. Wild!

Neons are in X2 (I'm sure you got that comment a few times). I remember back int he day they were called "Liberty Jumps".
People should play mega man x at parties

Another X4 glitch is the ride armor part for both Dragoon and Beastleo. I forgot the video link but I've seen it here on yt
Did fam just say that the hadoken originated in KING OF FIGHTERS and NOT street fighter?
Lol😂😂😂
Correction: Hadouken is from Street Fighter, not KoF.
Same with Shoryuken.
Way to miss the joke.
SDC makes Dragoon’s and Ground Sigma’s fights so much easier, even casually.
Awesome preview 🔥🔥🔥
Let's all go to game stop and and ask them to see their PS2's so we can do the X7 glitch to cross it off our list.
im so proud of myself coz i knew the x4 zero dash cancel glitch. i did it in Pc back then, i had a controller with turbo so I would just spam the dash while pressing the attack turbo vioala OP zero 😂
Okay, I have to pull out an "Um Ackshually" card but Megaman X4 is *not* the first Megaman game on PSX, it was X3.
If you consider dash canceling to be a glitch, then AI exploits count as glitches too.
you make good content bro

Sick video man
Neon jumping is awesome

Pretty sure they patched these glitches in the legacy collection, can't seem to get either one for Zero to work.
scratch that, the invincibility glitch works
Yes, I want to know the worst glitch in every Mega Man X game.
The hardest and easiest boss in megaman X series ( buster only )
Where was Command Mission?
0:36 actually its Street Fighter
You are saying Hadouken wrong. They literally say it out loud in Street Fighter 2, so I know you are pronouncing it incorrectly. It's Ha DO ken, not "Ha DOE Ken". Also, you actually can beat the final boss on Mega Man X in one hit with the regular Hadouken.
