No ND on the sony, completely forgot to pack so I just brought up in shitter speed for a lot of the shots during the day. The BMPCC 6K FF I think had the Tiffen variable ND!
some of these shots were so beautiful! The shots of the sky at 1:49 were my favorite. I like the colors of the BMPCC 6K a lot, but the FX3 is so small and versatile. I make films too and recently shot a cinematic journal of the winter so far in New York City. If you could stop by I'd be very thankful Vincent
How much easier was it to work with the Sony camera? I've been working with the Bmpсс4k for many years now and I know that it takes a lot of work. However, the 6K is even more of a hassle because of its size. And now I think about the FX3 from time to time... What do you think?
Ha, although my friend and I thought the BMPCC6k was definitely the superior camera, we both agreed that we were never taking the BMPCC6k hiking ever again XD. There's a time and place for all cameras and the FX3 was more convenient during this trip!
Just used a rec709 conversion with some temperature and shadow adjustments! I didn't want to do too much grading because I just wanted to show what it would look like out of the camera.

how does sony get away with saying the fx3 has 16 stops of dynamic range???
To my eyes, the Blackmagic camera has a more 'filmic' look to it. Having shot the video, what are your thoughts on the two cameras?

You need to compare with the same lenses, the same focal length and the same point of view...
No need, can still get the vibe just fine and see the difference!
How you can compare two cameras in different light conditions and in different angles. wasting our time wasting yours as well.
