Do you need an adapter to retain the factory AUX and USB port. Trying to use that location for my Apple car play.
Hi, I have one Tesla radio for my tundra 2021 and I need some help because after try to install I have some plugs from the original harness with no connection in to the new radio harness , thanks
Thanks for the great video! Do the Gen 4 and Gen 5 offer color change on the screen? I saw another video of a Gen 2 I believe and one of the main criticisms was that the only option was a black screen.
So GEN 4 and 5 have color icons but you can always install a different launcher from the App Store that will change how the whole screen looks if you wanted to.
Just did this on a 2015 and everything was great except my backup camera displays no video. I plugged in the yellow composite output to the input labeled factory cam. The screen pops up when I put the truck in reverse but the video is black / no signal.
Are you gonna be able to get that Gen 5 for the F150 horizontal on this go round?

Did your radio Clip in completely BEFORE you bolted it in? Or, did you have a little play at the top?
It should clip in. There may be sites under the radio chassis that is causing the radio to not go it right.
@@LinksWellInc To test, I removed ALL plugs. I tried to clip the radio in. The bottom clips in all the way. The top seems to not want to clip in all the way.

There will, you would purchase the radio through one of our dealers.
@@LinksWellInc That’s awesome, where is the closest dealer to me. I’m up here in Vancouver BC. Also the bezel in my F150 Limited is Gloss black. I’d like it to match the rest of my interior. Will you have one to match?

We haven’t made any. But I know there are some out in the TH-cam world.
Do you need an Adapter to retain factory USB and aux location. Trying to use the USB Under the radio for my CarPlay.
You will not be bale to use the factory port for CarPlay. The extensions and hubs mess up the voltage and resistance and so Apple won't launch CarPlay.
Is there any way to use a wireless dongle for CarPlay if it’s connected to the pigtail usb off the radio?

Will this work with a 2017 Toyota Tundra 1794? I have cool and heated seats and I know that sometimes that is an issue or requires an update perhaps? Any help would be great. Thanks
You just have to turn the features on.

The door sensor seems reversed, i open drivers door screen says its passenger door and vise versa
Go to settings/system/settings guide. And turn off RHD. Then save and reboot.

Will the Gen 5 have wireless CarPlay?
Possibly. We are working on that. Wireless CarPlay needs WiFi and Bluetooth connections. Which on a normal radio no problem, but for us it causes the radios internet functions and wireless CarPlay to battle for control of the WiFi chip. So working on coding to help that battle.
My audio is only coming out the dashboard speaker. 2021 tundra gen 4 tstyle radio.
Check all the pins on the plugs. Sometimes they bend and end up in the wrong locations.
@@LinksWellInc I hadn't plugged the "to radio" into the bottom of the radio, my bad. All features working now.

Will the unit be able to use SiriusXM satellite radio if I have an iPhone?
So you can use SiriusXM now on the phone through PhoneLink or using the app on the radio with WiFi.
We have been in production with SiriusXM for the last 2 and s half years working on getting our approval to control their v300 tuner.
We hope to be able to add the SiriusXM tuner control to GEN 5 when it releases but until SiriusXM gives us an approval we are stuck.
@@LinksWellInc So basically no SiriusXM is possible through the screen like the factory radio. We will need to use the app on the phone to play through the radio? Hmm..
@@4-LOW Not yet, we are about 3 years into the development with SiriusXM, hoping to have our approval early next year for our GEN 5.

How can i stop the notification chime?
Search through our library. We made a video about turning off the boot up chime. It’s the same chime.

No. You have to use the mic provided with the radio.

Having issue getting power to the unit. The hazard flashers work but the radio doesn't power on. Check the fuses and all are good. 2020 Tundra.
The CanBox is all plugged in? You have all the power plugs set correctly?
