    Sounds great. Happy to see Fender went back to rosewood fretboards. I'm really digging this Birch Green color.

      @officialWWM 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Why? I have the previous model with the Pao Ferro board and I love it. It has a much more interesting grain.

      @@officialWWM For me and most others Pao Ferro is way to light colored, just don't like the looks. But have seen a few that are dark, but over all not a fan of it. Rosewood is the traditional way to go and Fender realized that and went back to using it.

      @@scottsodyssey2485 lol, that’s ridiculous. Pao Ferro used to be offered as an exotic option on custom shop models!

    • @scottsodyssey2485
      @scottsodyssey2485 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@officialWWM No, its not ridiculous. Ask any guitar player and I'm sure 90% or more would choose Rosewood over Pao Ferro, in fact you might be the first that I've heard that prefers Pao Ferro. So you might be the ridiculous one. 🙂

    • @officialWWM
      @officialWWM 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@scottsodyssey2485 why? Because I couldn’t care less how dark the wood is? If you look at Pao Ferro, it has a much nicer grain with black streaks through it. In my humble opinion, it’s lots more attractive than boring old Rosewood!

    This new series will be hugely successful for Fender. I have no doubt about that.

    I got the lefty version in polar white with rosewood fretboard. Everything felt high-quality, sounded great, and even the action was set nicely. I only had to tinker a bit with intonation. Most sites have a 10% off deal right now, that's what enticed me, but I'm very glad I pulled the trigger.

    This ax looks nice and sounds nice too
    but I fancy a maple neck for a change. I was just looking at the other Tele player with the maple neck Looks and sounded really nice. must say surprised because I normally prefer rosewood but I think ill try these 2 out nice guitars👍

    I was so hopeful that these guitars would sort out the Player series but turns out the quality is poor as it ever was. The fretboards aren’t really rolled, barely even finished. Fender need to just remove the Mexico range entirely in my opinion and the Performer should be the entry level Fender. Squier are generally better than Fender MIM. They sound good though.

    • @aperezdeal
      @aperezdeal 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ CosmicBrain21 the issue with the Mexico plant is retention. The more experienced workers are fired as their skill demands higher pay and low/ no skilled workers are then hired in droves. Once the new people gain experience the process is repeated. Unfortunately this purposeful business practice is profitable and thus unlikely to change.

    My whatever its called H. Yellow HH player ii tele with maple necks all kinds of janked out the box... missing paperwork and allen keys.... frets unlevel and covered in lacquer.... miscut nut covered in overspray.... high e hangin off the fingerboard... paint scuffed near controlls.... a questionable neck pocket/future crack... loose neck... barely set up.... saddles extremely high, and a bent intonation screw. Good times.... Hurry up and get yourself one....
