I really like this tutorial because it's a result that's realistic for the average person _and_ looks really good. Too often someone who's basically a professional mini painter will make some competition-quality thing but make it seem like it's simple, which leads people to wonder why they're getting worse results, trying to make it better and ending up with something worse.
How to paint a typical Steiner mech. Step 1 - Find an Atlas. Step 2 - Find Blue paint and grey Paint. Step 3 - Paint Mech, Step 4 - Rinse and repeat 3 times to create a traditional Steiner Scout Lance.
I haz successfully scouted ze area. There are no survivors. Gut Gemacht, Commander. All in all, it was a very good tutorial, painted a company of scout lances, and never thought to zenital with a metallic might try that when I paint my 28mm king crab.
Wow! You did an amazing job with the paintjob! :0 If you're doing these type of videos I can't wait to see how you would paint for House Marik. They're my favorite :)
One would think that House Steiner uses Steiner blue for their mech paintjobs, wouldn´t you? XD But yeah, there are a lot of interesting shades of blue available. The great thing about painting BattleTech is that the mechs usually are not as numerous as the models you have in Warhammer games or other TTs. So you can really focus on each model to get the best result, even to the point where you make each mech intentionally slightly different to represent the different MechWarriors.
I see a lot of people in videos, after priming and basing coats, start on washes, pin washes, weathering etc. No gloss or semi gloss varnish before starting the weathering and details?

Thanks glad you enjoyed! The zenithal metallic is really impressed me honestly. I love the way it shines and pops out on the table.
Great tutorial, this is going to help for painting half of my game of armoured combat box
Glad I could help!

Glad they were of use to you! I'll probably do more in the future
I'd love to see you paint something in the Liao Death Commando colour scheme - its so badass!
A Liao mech will come! Just not sure on which one yet.

I know it's easier said than done, but i'd love too see you post more often, your videos are really appreciated 🙂
... lovely Griff'. The Giselle Bundchen of Mech's...
Great work! Fantastic video
Vallejo paints are quite good as well.
To be sure all paint ranges have their heroes and villains though.
Straight up think I need to redo my Steiner Lance to get this metallic blue now, dang
Yeah, its super sick. I might actually switch from the Combine to Steiner D:
@@nerdyOveranalyzed look at the bright side slime, you have all the money to fix the salvaged kuritan rides ;^)
Beautiful.
Thank you! Cheers!

Nerdy has orange hands, too!

That amazon list is so helpful! Thank you for taking the time to put that together. I mean, I know you get affiliate stuff from it, but still!
Glad it was helpful and for supporting my channel!
camospecsonline probably has the "official" colors.
Gloss varnish on the Mech i assume?
Is this a specific unit?
Lyran Guards. Whatever regiment because I didn't wanna do the regimental and unit insignias on the legs. xD
