I don't get ist - I usually don't show any gear at all in my reel. II mean yes - if there is a DJI mic-brick slam dunk in the shot, but anything else? Are you taking about a BTS reel?
Thank you for the question. Reels frequently come in with a resume or CV that fills in some of those technical gaps. Also, a lot of the reels we watch are from DPs and that information is often included in a lower third along with project title and director. Finally, there is some intuition involved. If you watch enough reels, you get a sense for scale of production pretty reliably. As you get more sensitive to production scales, you realize that the equipment follows the scale pretty consistently. And, if we aren't sure, we inquire.
