probably the best versions of Kraven and Venom ever but I think Chameleon is going to be intriguing considering he's the first villain Spiderman ever fought he deserved to be brought back on the map

Kraven was definitely a great choice for the antagonist of the game. They really nailed the bloodthirsty cruel nature of the character.

I like to think Venom somewhat respected kraven, a man who was honored to be killed by a being powerful as him
I can sympathize with Kraven’s motives because he doesn’t want to die wasting away from disease. It’s scary to be terminally ill, knowing that it’s not a matter of if but when. It’s got to be even worse for a man who has trained his entire life to be one of the most dangerous people alive. Guy wants to go out with a bang, not a whimper.
It's also terrifying because he's literally unreasonable. His goal is to die a violent death and finally find a predator more dangerous than him. So you can't talk him down, and if you threaten him he'll ONLY take it as a challenge.
But he will just live a shorter life

Imsoniac's Venom isnt vulnerable to fire, they confirmed it with Harry casually charging into a furnace.
Yea, they wanted to limit it to only one weakness for the game, so they went out of the way to emphasize that fire does nothing to this Venom
Jim Pirri killed it in this role, and I only knew him as Boozer from Days Gone.

To be honest, kraven didn’t really stand a chance against Harry as venom. I mean venom was attacking him like crazy, and kraven could hardly fight back as venom was too large.

Jim Pirri is what Kevin Conroy is to Batman. He’s the absolute best voice actor for kraven. I cannot imagine anyone else voicing him but Jim

Individually, probably. I’m really impressed he took down someone like Electro without the mobility of someone like Spider-Man. He really is a beast in this insomniac universe and he could only be taken down by a stronger beast.

He seems like the kind of guy to not fight a battle he can lose, being his exception not wanting a pityful death but a warrior one

Kraven’s intro is the best one out of all the villains.

Kraven killed Peter, don't forget that. If the Symbiote wasn't there or hadn't transferred from harry. He'd be dead from the knife in his ribcage. Only Venom was willing and able to kill kraven
And Peter would've killed Kraven not for Miles
And both have Venom in them. (Venom as his power not the symbiote)
Kraven only got the chance to stab Pete because he (Pete) on rushing to protect Connors and MJ he became reckless and decided to throw an easily intercepted cross punch at an opponent twice his size.
And it's not like Peter doesn't know how to deal with large beefy opponents, in fact when facing both Fisk and Rhino (the latter of whom had Scorpion running interference throughout the entire fight) Pete abuses his webs to restrain them then using the surrounding debris to weaken them until he can finish them off.
More than likely due to the fact that Peter is still mourning the loss of Aunt May, he's afraid of losing someone else like MJ or Miles causing him to not think clearly before he acts.

Man Insomniac Games absolutely nailed Kraven in the game, he was so intimidating in every scene, had an amazing presence, an unstoppable hunter, the way he took out 4 of the sinister six was insane. Jim Pirri was the perfect voice actor for Kraven. Loved the theme too, so ominous and epic. His final fight against Venom was the perfect send off for his character.
This is the best Kraven depiction ever! He was so badass in this game, so was venom. So satisfied playing this

To be honest, I was expecting Venom to deny Kraven the chance of a worthy death.
You know? Like Cripple him to the point that he has no choice but to die slowly. Which I think would have been a fitting death after everything he had done up till that point
That seems more like something Carnage would do tbh. Here, Venom was probably too angry to care.
Venom isn’t particularly sadistic like that, or at least most incarnations of the character haven’t been. Venom saw Kraven as an obstacle, something hindering its mission. It had no reason to make Kraven suffer, so it instead killed him thereby removing the threat he posed. If Venom sees you as a threat or obstacle in the way of its goals, it’s not gonna take its time tormenting you; it’ll instead do the more efficient thing, crush you and move forward.

Ironic because in some of Venom's finishers he brakes people backs and he leaves them paralyzed most mikely
The symbiote wanted to eat his head. If you watched the movie, Venom 2, the symbiote wants to eat brains. Harry wouldn’t have killed him.
I was worried Kraven's fight would be a bunch of hide and seek while you fight his goons. Glad to be wrong.
When a bloodied and beaten Kraven just looked up at Venom and said "Thank you." Mad respect for going out with a warrior's death. Doesn't excuse or justify anything he did, but still, mad respect.

To venom, kraven is actually small in size, and kraven really has an ego. If anything, he is beneath man.

It's weird that in the end I'm happy for Kraven. He got to go out on the terms he wanted. His last words were "thank you". He had to be taken off the board for the good of New York/Mankind. But In a way he escaped punishment.
I wanted to see venom spare him and then, kraven serves life in prison due to many counts of first degree murder, even if five of them were supervillains.
i think although that would have been idea justice, its better kraven went out this way. If you read kravens last hunt (whcih every spidey fan above 15 y/o should read and actally read analysis), u would realise kraven kind of wins but also not really. he is commiting suicide but he also achieves his goal. but the ultimate sadness is that its still a cowardly way out. kraven talks big, does even bigger, but he is ultimately a small, cowardly boy@@SYDAirlineEnthusiast

You know what, when he was first introduced I expected him one of those villains who talks a lot, but never do anything. But honestly, gg kraven, you where a lot better than expected.
Honestly, I knew next to nothing about Kraven until the game. What I did know I learned by watching Ultimate Spiderman and his tale of trying to hunt Spiderman in the comics. Gosh, this made me like him and respect him as a villain. His skin details are also a nice touch. "I have conquered nature.", no joke. He at least killed a bear and wears the skull of a tiger or a lion. It could be a fossil too!

Kraven didn’t even give a shit about Peter, came to fight the villains and then fell in love with the symbiote. He had zero respect for Peter

One of his goons from an outpost said, Kraven was only interested in fighting Spider-Man's enemies, he found to be Spider-Man as a kid, which is why he lost interest, he was more interested on who Peter dealt with in the past. Since Peter is not a predator, he protects life, Kraven couldn't consider him as a prey due to that mindset, his recording on Shocker, actually showed Kraven's humanity, he genuinely sympathized to his death, because Shocker only fights for survival, to which Kraven could not also call him a prey either, Kraven is just looking for other bloodthirsty animals like himself, and died by Venom, accomplished his goal. @@zakwatchman5393

Kraven's character is best remembered because of him dying. His death and obsession with death is part of what make him an interesting character.

Amazing presence throughout the game. Every time I wanted Kraven to show up again, boom there he was.

Kraven the Hunter is without a doubt one the greatest Spider-Man villains of all time easily in the top 5 and insomniac truly understood that they gave him the respect his character deserves plus his voice actor Jim Pirri's voice truly brought the character to life with a flawless performance.
Man I wish Kraven was in more of the game. He's such a well-written character, and is chock full of that classic Insomniac magic.
Throughout my whole play through I felt the fear and badassery he displayed with every scene he was in. Insomniac blew it out of the park with this iteration of kraven and I loved it he was so fucking cool!!!

Kraven probably tried every poison to build up resistance. Every top tier hunter/survivalist character does it and he is kinda like Batman with his preps and studying his prey. If you like Batman then you will have be prepare for everything
