Manasquan, NJ - The Manasquan community was rocked this morning by a dramatic car fire involving a Jeep Cherokee, which contained live ammunition that exploded as the fire raged. The Manasquan Fire Department arrived on the scene within minutes and bravely battled the intense blaze, ensuring the safety of nearby residents and minimizing potential damage.
During the incident, the USAR Drone Team, led by team leader and founder Michael Parziale, provided crucial aerial footage, capturing the unfolding scene from above. This footage has been instrumental in understanding the dynamics of the fire and the subsequent explosions caused by the ammunition.
