- 08.28.2021 | 3:00 PM | MURRIETA - Massive flames and a fire tornado could be seen on video from the Chaparral fire in Murrieta, CA. At the time the footage was shot, the fire was at 450 acres. A witness on camera stated the fire started by someone target shooting. The Chaparral Fire started on August 28, 2021 off Cleveland Forest Road and Tenaja Road southwest of Murrieta in San Diego County. Evacuation orders in place - North of Tenaja Truck Trl, South of Calle Cielo, East of Calle Collado and West of Calle Be Bietol.

That has to be one of the most terrifying things I've ever seen I've read stories about the fires like this (the Carr Fire for example), but this is so close to the "front", it really gives you a true perspective of how monstrous these fires can be. The hotshots and smokejumpers that handle things like this are the most unsung heroes in the world. The next time you see a firefighter, make sure to thank him; and his brave brothers & sisters for putting their lives on the line everyday.
I have seen the Firefighters in the airport I worked at for 35 years. Easy to tell which way they were headed. To the fire - no smoke smell, from the fire - smoke smell 2 gates up. Always told them thanks when I could.

20 years ago I had a professor tell the class that some of the western states were not managing forests in a way to reduce fires, but instead taking a hands off approach. He said then that this would be the outcome. The scary thing is we are now doing this in the east...

That is the effect of the aerial atmospheric spraying over decades. Those flames are not normal flames from brush burning. Coal fly ash, sprayed over the US, fall to the ground and enters the soil and root system of trees.
This toxic compound converts to aluminum, in a dangerous form. Why? When it is converted into aluminum in the soil, it is in a loosely bound atomic structure, ( flammable ) versus the existing aluminum in all soils that is in a tightly bound atomic structure and not a flammable compound.
This newly formed aluminum is highly flammable. That is why these ground fires look more like a blast furnace coming from the ground.
That is why 5800 homes in San Rosa became ash in 90 minutes in 2017 with nothing remaining of the homes.

My dad was a firefighter apart of all the special response teams like USAR, Swift water, RSAR, etc. People are so blind to what these guys provide for us in sense of safety and security. Without them, there wouldn't be 50% of the people or resources we have today.
You would think then that rather than the US government wasting tons of $$$ on fake wars and giving it to rappers and pedos it would use that $$$ to build a better method of dealing with these fires and other events that cause so much damage to society. But nope. We need to pay grown men that throw balls around billions of dollars rather pay people that actually save society.

The stupid forest service in CA isn't allowed to clear all the dead wood & branches, creating a ton of fuel for these fires. No fuel to burn=no fires..People don't want to hurt ants, caterpillars, or any other wildlife...Well, then you get this!

All my life I’ve lived in Fire country and known countless firefighters, chiefs, inspectors you name it. They, we, I have always called it a fire tornado, a weather event the fire creates itself.

How can you have a house completely leveled to the ground with little ash even present from the burned contents & have a plastic trash container just feet away in perfect condition and no sign of even melting from the intense heat that consumed a house just feet away. I live in Prescott, AZ. We too have lots of Manzanita. It does burn very well. Not sure if it bursts.
Yep. Lived near that area for 11 years, I know where the road is referenced in the video description, I've hiked in those hills. Lots of manzanita up there. And, yes, it burns very hot and very fast from the oils in the bark.
My dad was a smoke jumper (wildland firefighters who parachute into remote areas to fight fires that are just getting started). He's told me stories about manzanita exploding if it gets hot enough. He's even related how pine trees can do the same. But it's rare; it has to be all-consuming firestorm type conditions.

You may have meant the raking comment as a joke but you're right. There are huge rake-like implements that go on the front of equally huge dozers that do just that; rake up highly flamable underbrush & forest debris that these fires feed on. And yes, God bless the firefighters.

What really terrifies me about these wild fires is their unpredictability and speed. You can be in a seemingly safe location to suddenly running for your life assuming the fire has not enveloped into a crescent around your neighborhood. A friend of mine learned that the hard way up in Fort MacMurray when a third of the city was burned down. People only had minutes to get in their vehicles and leave the city on the only highway out of the city. There was virtually no warning from the Alberta emergency authorities.
That brings back memories that I wish I could forget. Back in the 70's I was working for the forestry service fighting forest fires in Montana. I spent many hours and days surrounded by very similar looking surroundings.

I used to have fun like this, I operated a dozer cutting fireline. I've seen fire tornados throw logs hundreds of yards and even beat a 14-inch oak tree like someone playing with a feather duster. The really bad thing is all the embers that get spit out a half mile or even further and start new fires far away from the lines and crews.

I'm in Wildomar but work directly across from La Cresta where this is. Been sucking on my inhaler for 2 days. Smoke is horrible, winds are horrible. Cal Fire is the bomb!

These cal fire guys are badass, I watched them in action during the holy fires that spread to lake Elsinore while I was living there. These men were chopping down trees that were on fire. I am so glad that they managed to save the big house -For a while, it was touch and go. Over the last decade, we had similar fires here in Australia and we had many Firenados like the one on this video. We now have in place a fire management system where we backburn in cooler weather and prevent really severe fires in summer.
BTW we once had a fire so bad that it was spotting from 15 miles away and had flaming embers falling in densely populated areas and in one street lost 15 out of 23 houses in one street.

They don’t do that here in California, only in states where people are smart. They prefer being lazy, then panic when theirs an out of control burn.
Smoke management is the issue. People will whine and threaten to sue if you do a control burn.

Its not homes. Places refuse to practice controlled burning. Look at all the dry brush. It doesn't take much for it all to get into an uncontrolled state when you let it grow like that.

Thousands of jumbo jets carrying water from hurricane zones with more than enough across the country to dump on wildfires on the West Coast. Like a super long bucket line..

Great idea I've had myself of taking water from these torrential rains and transporting to drought areas, even trying to prevent all these fires. I have attended many, many moorland fires in the Northwest of England but nothing beats the sheer intensity of those wild fires. The heat must be phenomenal and the feeling if defeat having to retreat from a persons home I really can empathise with. Stay safe.

You are 100% correct. It is called Aerial Spraying. Has been underway in USA for 23 years. The toxins released from high flying unmarked planes is coal fly ash and as it settles on to the ground and penetrates the soil and roots it creates a powerful incendiary. That incendiary is called aluminum. It is a loosely bound form of aluminum, which is extremely flammable and burns much hotter than grass! There is plenty of aluminum in the the soil, and always has been except that aluminum was put there by Mother Nature and it's chemical structure is tightly wound and will not burn. In a loosely combined chemical structure, aluminum burns like a blast furnace, that is what your eyes are seeing.
It is a new phenomenon, it is frightening and it is a growing danger as the ground does not disperse this incendiary. The ground is becoming more and more saturated with such chemicals and when a campaign fire goes off, ( a VERY LARGE FIRE ) the heat created is much higher than normal grass or brush fires and this means the fire SPREADS much faster than normal and the soil is cooked so hot, it will not support future tree or plant life.
This is EXACLY what took place in 2003 in the Cuyamaca Forest in San Diego. That fire is named the Cedar Fire. None of the massive acreage in the forest has grown back. the fire burned TOO HOT and the soil has been render sterile. Forest rangers have planted trees in areas close to the fire perimeter, but not inside the fire charred ground, as the soil does not support tree growth.
This is the future of the Sierras. Soil that has been so damaged by the TOXIC aluminum chemicals created from the sprayed coal fly ash ( it converts to aluminum in the ground ! ) that the soil is useless.
Climate change is a scam only in the sense it is 100% created by the weather manipulators in the past 20 years. It is real, but not coming from the combustion engine.
Directed Energy Technology can also start fires with an Energy Pulse or Directed beam that is 100% invisible. Such beams can be sent from a plane, drone, weather balloon, fixed platform, or moving platform. This explains why so many of the large fires, remain unsolved as to origin.

Aerial spraying of coal fly ash produces aluminum when it reaches the ground and that is what is driving the intensity of the fires. Rest assured, it will increase yearly. Every town in the west is at risk. 2020 was the worst fire season every in CALIf. But 2021 will be 3 times as bad. 2022 more bad news ?
How long before Carmel or Yosemite or Napa or Laguna Beach or Fallbrook becomes the headline focus. I guess if the US military/ CIA keep saturating the CALIF ground with highly flammable chemicals as they HAVE for 23 years, the results will be no different no matter where the inferno. These words have been around for a very long time. Where's the author? Shouldn't he / she still be alive today? These words communicate a lie in today's English. Plain as day, no wiggle room. Obvious lie. Does God lie? Does God want you to spread lies? Shouldn't the presently-misleading translations be retired, and a new Bible that accurately conveys God's message to today's readers created from scratch? If God wrote the ten commandments on stone tablets for Moses, why can't he directly publish, without ghost-writing, a new edition of His Word to the world? If God doesn't care enough about the Bible to keep it clear and relevant, why should I care enough to read it, much less believe it?

One of the most incredible things I've ever seen. The skill and sheer bravery is astonishing, some of these guys must have asbestos skin. I already had the utmost respect for firefighters but this really brings home what an unbelievable effort they make against a monster like this. I don't think any film has portrayed the true ferocity of fire as well as this.
Those spinning infernos look like the fire God Almighty produced in the scene of The Ten Commandments to stop the Pharaoh and his army when Moses opened up the Red Sea.. Amazing footage!!!
