I flew from Vancouver to London on British Airways A 380 a few years ago and it was amazing, i was in economy but I couldn't believe what a quiet and comfy ride it is.
QF7/QF8 is currently our only A380 visitor at DFW since Emirates scaled back to a 777 for EK221/EK222. Interestingly, the A380 only lands / departs on the west side of DFW airport. Despite (International) terminal D being on the west side, this may have something to do with weight limits on the taxi bridges across International Parkway.
In the late 70’s I used to ride my bike across the Grapevine dam home from work in Lewisville. 3 times a week I could catch the Concorde landing at DFW right over the top of me. Now THAT was an airplane sound.
I’ve been in 2 from Lhr to Vancouver most comfortable flight of my life they are amazing aircraft and the second one home I got the best sleep on a plane IN ECONOMY nice to have it flying again
@@paulkirkland3263 Good for you. I travel monthly and I can say they have excellent pilots and engineering but they lack a great service ethos unlike the carriers such as Singapore and Ethiad

my Perfect Landing best ever was DFW , later found out how much wind+heat affects what every Pilot is trying to do, got onto a KLM 747 right after , ride of my Life O/O°

I have flown to Dubai several times, And the A380 is the best airplane I have ever been on ❤
I flew on the A380 from Sydney to DFW most comfortable flight I’ve ever had, even in economy

Reminds me of watching C-5As landing at TravisAFB, California. I call them “all day airplanes”, “all day” to cross the sky.
It's such a massive yet exquisite bird! I flew one from SFO to Heathrow several years ago. Zero turbulence throughout!
I watch this plane fly over texas almost everyday! I keep track of it on flight aware. Awesome plane, thanks for the vid.
I did it too Dfw - syd 17+ hours Qantas great flight also I was in economy , and Qantas crew are just about the best always.
DFW and Love Field have really changed over the years miss it.

Love that plane ,flew it a dozen times. Hopefully again next year
You have the opposite ends of the flight spectrum at 1:26 in this video, the A380 and a butterfly in the same shot!

Awesome. I flew Emirates A380 from Dubai to JFK in business class. It was pure class and had a great experience with a hangout area and mini bar.
You have excellent videoing skills
*chef’s 💋 *
Great video Anson i bet you and the boys had a blast there at DFW.
Anson is a great name. Avro built a plane called, the Avro Anson.
What a beast!!!
Great.👍. video well done.😄
That hop is everything.
I dont mind living near an airport with runway views. ;-)
I've flown around the world in Qantas A380s. Love the planes and the airline - and that's just Economy!
How sweet that the co-pilot was waving
Someone should have told him about the spinach between his front teeth, though... 😁
Time stamp please
Beautiful video! :)
Nice video!
In April of 2022 British Airways will begin daily service between Heathrow to DFW with the Airbus A380
Yes they will!
BA is crap belive me but great aircraft
@@trevorcox3669 Always found BA very good, between Japan and the UK, and to Singapore. No complaints at all.

@@trevorcox3669 Never flown Ethiad, but I agree regarding Singapore Airlines; SIA is without doubt the best airline in the world.
Flew Singapore Airlines to Washington on a380....fantastic experience....
Well be getting the British Airways A380 soon!
Awesome!
@@anscad And, as of now, we already have. :-)
David, yes I think so. it's called Founders Park.
Anson Cadogan it's actually Founders Plaza
Jill McCullough thanks for the correction.
The greatest airline.
Is that spot where you were standing still accessible to plane spotters?
Yes I believe so. It was builts for plane spotters. Even has the tower communications coming through the speakers in the park.
wow nice catch man
nice video
Rovk solid. Amazing.
As rain man said QANTAS never crash.
Proud to be Australian moment!
Why?
@@YoureDumbForLife With a question like that , it explains your TH-cam name
Why proud to be Australian because Qantas bought a few A380’s
Did the Aussies design it?

You just bought it

The Flying Kangaroo has Landed!!
Bring back those 4 engine aircraft. Should be more of them
QANTAS flew an A380 out of Germany last week, but it will be Feb or March before it’s back carrying passengers.
Lovely,
I love to see take off nd landing 🛬...
Jakarta ?
At 1:25 I thought the plane was suddenly being attacked by Rodan.
God I miss flying..... ☹️
I saw a plane land once.
wow man pretty hard to see those since there are only 12 of them in fleet
Nonstop from Oz.
Secret refuelling in xxx ? Okay, that is it !
Pride from an ex Qantas engineering employee here.
Why? Did you assemble the plane in Toulouse?
Why? At what point during its conception in Europe did you contribute?
I would have love to see a close up of this HARD LANDING
👍👍
Whooo, Quantas airplane landing.! Me need em popcorn. Is that paint drying?
I must travel to DFW and get a glimpse myself!!!
DFW ?, I thought it was at PMA or maybe LHN or maybe ZHO. WTF

No reason to be so low he or she barely made runway
it would be a better video if you focused on the plane instead of dudes in Jorts!
