We stopped outside Johnny Cashes house on a tour back in June 1998. Johnny was and is my favorite country singer. We live in Australia and had always wanted to visit Nashville and the thing we wanted most was to see where Johnny and June lived.Thanks for bringing back some happy memories.

I've been to Johnny and Junes grave twice. Along with Conway and many other stars. I did them all the same day. I enjoy this type of investigative work as well only to a lesser degree I think. It is interesting to know where these people are buried. When my wife and I were here in September of 2011 on the date of Johnny's death, we met a woman that claimed her son worked security for Johnny. I told her that I seen Johnny at a local bar near where I live that is no longer there.
Billy you have taught me so much about all this and other people it is so nice to have someone to tell the sister I’m sure you’ve seen my post before hate to see you around four early after surgery but I’ll be praying for you for a speedy recovery thank you very much and I did not realize that their house burned down very sad very sad take care yourself!!
I realize that you did this blog awhile back but I hope that you recovered nicely from your back surgery. I actually watched the movie Walk The Line night before last. I always liked Johnny Cash. He had a very good voice. At the end of the movie it says that Johnny's live album that was recorded at Folsom Prison out sold the Beatles at the time. They used to have alot of animals on the property and Johnny spoke once about an ostrich that attack him. Johnny and June made a lovely couple. He loved June so much. In his last preformance at Carter Fold he talked about June several times. Thank you for this. I also like Conway too, so I look forward to seeing that. I know he wanted that house of Johnny Cash because of the History there. Im sure many Country Music Stars hung around writing songs there before they make it in the business.So sad when the Cash Home burned down It would have be so nice if Barry Gibb of "THE BEE GEE'S" (to me that's huge) was living there now!! I hear he comes to Nashville alot because of the town history of song writing. I wished I knew where he stays at when his here. #lovehim You right back then Hendersonville was IN THE COUNTRY.. lol.. Now you can drive 30 miles in any direction, and still be in Nashville . Nashville now is a ,Little big town 😂 My Johnny Cash story: My grandmother moved to Gallatin when I was young. Every Sunday my parents and I would ride to Gallatin from E. Nash. back then folks had to drive ALL THE WAY down Gallatin Road.(about 30 miles and a hundred red lights).🤣 I don't know why this was ( I was so young) we would ALWAYS meet up with June and Johnny ( my parents drove a BLACK Cadillac) Of course so did "THE CASH'S!! They were the salt of the earth kinda people.( being a small child you can just tell if grownups find you annoying of endearing) and they were so kind to me) a small child) that says alot about them!!Now that Country Music has gotten so big. We ( fans) just don't see the stars out in public like you used to. Now that I'm older I cherish all those Great Memories. Seeing Reba at different restaurants in Rivergate, seeing Conway inside Rivergate Mall ( shopping) and Garth Brooks ( his such a kind man). When I was in my 20s. I would take my kids The Twitty City for Christmas. It was so BEAUTIFUL. Sad how his wife done his kids and tore the family ( and Twitty City) apart!! Watching your videos I see all the land marks of my town!! Of course when I was growing up( half a mile from downtown nashville) not really realizing ALL THE DEEP Country Music History!! (I grow up in the Rock and Roll Era) Not taking advantage of my Home Town Country Music Heritage!! Keep the videos coming I really enjoy them...There use to be a BIG HUGE sign that said :" House of Cash" I'm sure someone trashed it. Not knowing what a Treasure it was!! Like the way they tore down Jim Reeves's Home!! It was nice. It was right on Gallatin Road @ Joyce Lane, they said they accidentally did it "WHAT THE HELL," did they mean about that???

My sister fell at work and broke her hip and leg she works at cracker barrell she has worked there over 19 years she's getting faster than they thought they told her it'd b 6 months but she's already walking on her own and taking showers but the Doc won't let her go back until the 6 months is up she was having to use a walker i'm glad she's getting better faster

I saw Johnny and June's house some years ago. From the street it kinda went down a little incline, their 2 Mercedes were parked there. I also went to the museum and the cadillac of many pieces was parked in front and a lot of memorabilia was inside the museum. It seemed like a separate building at the time and not the office building you showed today

I hear he comes to Nashville alot because of the town history of song writing. I wished I knew where he stays at when his here. #lovehim You right back then Hendersonville was IN THE COUNTRY.. lol.. Now you can drive 30 miles in any direction, and still be in Nashville . Nashville now is a ,Little big town 😂 My Johnny Cash story: My grandmother moved to Gallatin when I was young. Every Sunday my parents and I would ride to Gallatin from E. Nash. back then folks had to drive ALL THE WAY down Gallatin Road.(about 30 miles and a hundred red lights).🤣 I don't know why this was ( I was so young) we would ALWAYS meet up with June and Johnny ( my parents drove a BLACK Cadillac) Of course so did "THE CASH'S!! They were the salt of the earth kinda people.( being a small child you can just tell if grownups find you annoying of endearing) and they were so kind to me) a small child) that says alot about them!!Now that Country Music has gotten so big. We ( fans) just don't see the stars out in public like you used to. Now that I'm older I cherish all those Great Memories. Seeing Reba at different restaurants in Rivergate, seeing Conway inside Rivergate Mall ( shopping) and Garth Brooks ( his such a kind man).
When I was in my 20s. I would take my kids The Twitty City for Christmas. It was so BEAUTIFUL. Sad how his wife done his kids and tore the family ( and Twitty City) apart!! Watching your videos I see all the land marks of my town!! Of course when I was growing up( half a mile from downtown nashville) not really realizing ALL THE DEEP Country Music History!! (I grow up in the Rock and Roll Era) Not taking advantage of my Home Town Country Music Heritage!! Keep the videos coming I really enjoy them...There use to be a BIG HUGE sign that said :" House of Cash" I'm sure someone trashed it. Not knowing what a Treasure it was!! Like the way they tore down Jim Reeves's Home!! It was nice. It was right on Gallatin Road @ Joyce Lane, they said they accidentally did it "WHAT THE HELL," did they mean about that???

My sister fell at work and broke her hip and leg she works at cracker barrell she has worked there over 19 years she's getting faster than they thought they told her it'd b 6 months but she's already walking on her own and taking showers but the Doc won't let her go back until the 6 months is up she was having to use a walker i'm glad she's getting better faster

I saw Johnny and June's house some years ago. From the street it kinda went down a little incline, their 2 Mercedes were parked there. I also went to the museum and the cadillac of many pieces was parked in front and a lot of memorabilia was inside the museum. It seemed like a separate building at the time and not the office building you showed today
