I love retro motels and motor courts. The Drake was featured in Scottish rock band Big Country's "Fragile Thing" video, off of their last album "Driving to Damascus". Nashville police once found a body stuffed in a closet at The Drake Motel. Whats really weird is the maid cleaned all the blood up not knowing the victim was still there...she didn't even tell anyone about it! I believe the case is still open.

Eddie came to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in 1986 when my son was in the hospital. Gave him a stuffed toy rabbit.
