      @@philipporter7650 LOL! You’re right! There’s nothing square about busses & they do cost moolah, which is why we gotta work non-stop to cash flow this build. No silver spoon here!

      Thanks so much Papa Truman! Yeah, this part of the build is quite difficult considering the small space to work. However, we feel it’ll give us the space for essential components we couldn’t fit in the cab.

      @@BEAdventurePartners I think we’re doing the fresh tanks under the bed and don’t know quite yet where we’re putting the grey tank. Trying to be as balanced as possible front to back and side to side. What’s the point of insulating in the storage? Can’t you just do a tank heater if you’re in a cold place?

      ¡Hola @Roberto Sisto! ¡Muchas gracias por ver nuestros videos a pesar de que no habla inglés! Sí, yo (Brian) soy de Texas y soy descendiente de México, mientras que Erin es de Canadá. Hablamos un poco de español y estamos lejos de ser bilingües. Sin embargo, nos complace escribirle en español aquí en los comentarios. Antes de copiar y pegar su mensaje en Google Translate de español a inglés, leemos su mensaje en español y luego anticipamos cuál es el significado. Luego lo pusimos en Google Translate y estábamos bastante cerca de traducir por nuestra cuenta. ¡A los dos nos encanta aprender y hablar español! Siempre que deje un mensaje, estaremos encantados de conversar con usted. Ojalá pudiéramos haber llegado a Argentina cuando viajábamos, pero no logramos llegar tan al sur antes de construir nuestro Skoolie. ¿También estás construyendo un Skoolie? ¡Gracias por mirar y esperamos tener más conversaciones contigo! ¡Abrazos desde Canadá! - Brian + Erin

      @@vosotras1 ¡Muy genial! ¡Encajarías perfectamente con viajar en un skoolie! Una vez que el nuestro esté terminado, nos encantaría conducir hasta América del Sur. Aunque tendríamos que ponerlo en un bote una vez que lleguemos a Panamá para ir de Centroamérica a Sudamérica. Un día, cuando podamos pagarlo, agregaremos subtítulos en español a todos nuestros videos para que pueda leer lo que estamos diciendo.

    Apparently there's such a thing as a left handed scue driver

    • @BEAdventurePartners
      @BEAdventurePartners  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey @Philip Porter! After Googling "Left handed screwdriver" a Wikipedia article came up for a phrase called "A fool's errand" which is a type of practical joke or prank where a newcomer to a group, typically in a professional context, is given an impossible or nonsensical task by older or more experienced members of the group. Many such errands require the victim to travel some distance and request an impossible object by name.
      When I worked in the restaurant industry about a decade ago, "left handed chicken stretcher" was the tool to request as it increased the amount of chicken one could get out of a single breast along with tenderizing it in the process. It doesn't exist! LOL
      However... There are a TON of tool terms that I should have picked from instead of that one, which would have been even funnier! Here's more: "board stretcher", "eye measures", "hammer grease", "wall expander", "glass hammer", "cable stretcher"
      Thanks for chiming in! It's fun to be goofy!

    GREAT WORK GUYS.... Is there any reason you used a seam sealer over any other type caulk like Sikaflex???? Does the seam sealer dry and paint over it????

    • @BEAdventurePartners
      @BEAdventurePartners  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey hey @wade albert! Thanks so much! We’re working hard on this project. Sikaflex is a solid caulking choice. The reason we chose Seam sealer over Sikaflex for this application is that it’s used by the auto industry to seal seams, it’s heavy duty, resists weather deterioration, stays flexible and is paintable. It can also be sculpted & feathered by spraying with naptha or camp stove fuel. We go into more details on how we use it in this video th-cam.com/video/y5KD5enjK-E/w-d-xo.html
      Hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions & thanks for watching!

    If you ever do need to replace the tanks, you could consider making your own to the exact size and shape needed for the space you have. Check out th-cam.com/video/ddLlSRtYqFU/w-d-xo.html for the first of 3 demonstration videos on how to do that for a bus.

    • @BEAdventurePartners

      Whoa!!!! Sooo cool @Trevor Robinson! Thanks so much for the share! We hadn't seen this one by @Lacroix Cruiser but have seen other videos by him and they are quite creative! We like the idea of fabing our own holding tanks in the future if the barrels don't work out (because, as you probably know... we LOVE creating and being crafty!)
      Happy new year to ya!
