I hope you’re all having a great week so far! I had a bunch of copper wire today I want to get get rid of and using this vevor stripping machine saved a bunch of time. An electric one would have been faster but for the price, you can’t go wrong. I hope you all enjoy and I’ll see you in the next one 👍🏻🍻
Those wire stripping machines are awesome. I actually have one that hooks up to an outlet. Definitely strips wire so much faster than doing by hand 😂😂😂😂
Please, some time when you are doing another copper pour, place sand in about a 12" circle and about 2" deep. Place your ingot mold in the center and pour the metal. *Immediately* cover with shredded newspaper and place a metal bucket upside-down over the burning newspaper. Ideally the bucket should be small enough to not extend beyond your sand workspace. If you need to make the sand workspace larger, go for it. As an additional measure to ensure a tight seal, you can pour wet sand around the lip of the bucket where it meets the sand. Let it completely cool, take it out and "Oooooh" and "Aaaaah" to your heart's content over the incredible colors.
nice pour but i really wish you would wear some leather boots and long denim pants. a splash of molten metal on bear skin would give a horrific burn. anyway just thinking of your safety
I can get my copper beat red and I'm doing the same thing you're doing but I cannot get hot enough to melt. I didn't spend a lot of money on a furnace 50 60 bucks It should be good enough but for some reason I cannot get it to Melt
I have the stripmeister and it will not strip anything less than #8 without destroying it. I guess it has to be just right. Mine was over $200.00 bucks and it's not electric nor does it have a hand crank option. It only has the drill option. I probably should have went to Vevor instead. Ive gotten lots of things from Vevor i got a moonshine distillery kit for like $80 and it is awesome. Their products are definitely cheaply built, but I still love shopping there.
Won't it just float to the top and burn off in the melt if you don't strip them? Apart from the environment and your own lungs, is there other issues with it?
Hey man youndo an amazing job, I'm trying to find someone that I can pay to make a mold for me us use on my own rounds or bars with my own design, you think younoukd help me out?? Thanks fir your time nan
I have been getting all your notifications here. I even get your new channel. Good video!!! I'm looking into a stripper. She has to do what I want, and strip on demand...lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Looking for an electric stripper so I don't build the lower muscle of my forearm...lol 🤔🤔🤣🤣🤔🤔🤣🤣
Can you actually recycle the wire cladding? Most recycle collection here in NC only takes specific types of plastic bottles and containers. I was wondering, as artistically inclined as you are, have you tried hand-scupting a lost wax pour? Seems like that might be very rewarding
I haven’t done a wax sculpting by hand in years. Since there’s so many other ways to do it now and all the technology, I haven’t really even thought about it. Maybe one day though 🤷🏻♂️
Say, how difficult would it be to cast a coin with a reeded edge? I know our mint stamps blanks into their molds but is it even worth trying? I imagine sand wouldn’t be a fine enough medium, either lost wax/PLA or maybe one of those metal two-piece molds like the one you (tried to 🥴) use in this video?

I just got an electronic wire stripper off ebay a few weeks ago and I sooooo enjoy stripping wires. It's like therapy. Thanks for the video.
I am glad you left the back of that bar the way it was. I think it’s beautiful that way, too.
Thanks for the review on the wire stripper. I have been considering getting one myself. Stay awesome.

I really liked the back of that larger one. I would have left the colors. That’s just me. Why do you think it had such rich looking color? Nice job.
realy nice melting ;)
What is in your angle grinder- 2 different things - and then what is in your drill press?
How much propane did it cost you? That’s what I’m wondering. Thinking of doing this on the farm. Is it worth it?
