      Jesus Christ, the amount of people ignorant to this is amazing. It's called football because it's played on your feet. The Brits used to play sports on horseback mostly, hence why a game played on your feet as well. Association football aka soccer and Rugby where invented around the same time were called football. The official name of rugby is still Rugby football even though you barely kick the ball. Association football got shortened to just football because it became preferred over rugby, maybe do a little more research next time.

      The comparison between USA & Australia is remarkably similar:
      Both countries were British penal colonies
      Both countries almost exterminated their nations natives
      Both countries still treat their countries natives like shit, that should be mistreat.
      Both countries predominantly speak English as a first language.......but very poorly
      Both countries have Dollars as a currency, no sense in either country
      Australia shortens words but according to Matt, sorry Matthew Wanker, USA dont do this ! Isn't USA the United States of America ?
      Both countries have similar land mass although in Australia we didnt build a fence to cut off our third world neighbours we dug a great big ditch and filled it with water, unfortunaley one of our states was a casualty and cut off as well, collateral damage !
      Both countries have knucklehead politicians that bullshit the same
      The list of similarities go on, but who sits at the bottom of the world ? Who says that the North pole is the top? The South pole AKA Antarctica just may be the top of the world or are we getting too deep now ?

      if you knew anything about Aussies like myself you'd know we take the piss out of everyone and everything inlcuding ourselves. there are no safe targets.

      @Colin Rocco America(when I say "America" or "Americans" here, I'm referring to the US specifically, not other parts of the Americas) doesn't even have "English" listed in their official languages. Not to mention most Americans fucking up the queen's English anyway(and you, in the middle line, second last word of your first sentence, it should have been "you're"), many of them then have the gall to then go and try to correct people using PERFECT ENGLISH, or they get up literate people for explaining their fuck-ups to them. The elitist and narcissistic acts normally come from America.

    • @nejx8711
      @nejx8711 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Colin Rocco Americans see themselves as better than everyone else, you might not feel it, but the whole american dream and the land of the free bs has gotten to everyones heads since birth, meanwhile America is by percentage the LEAST free country in the developed world, when looking at the free roaming to imprisoned people ration, YOU are the ones who see themselves as above the rest of the world and expect the world to conform to YOUR world views and traditions, even when abroad, so no, when Aussies, Asians and Europeans try to bring your absolutely IMMENSE ego back down to the world of reason, were not trying to say that were better than you, were trying to tell you to stop thinking your the only country on Earth...
