THIS! So many people now days go through a state where they're depressed, such as a break-up or argument with a friend then claim they have depression because they've been depressed before. EVERYONE gets anxious and depressed but having an anxiety/depression disorders are two very different things. Worse off (at least through my experience) are the people who claim to have bi-polar because "I go through stages of happiness then sadness" like b*tch so does everyone that's called life...bi-polar is only living on extreme happiness then extreme sadness, no inbetween, nonstop with no trigger whatsoever.

@@TheNpcNoob there are treatments and behavioral therapy for certain negative aspects of them though. I take medication for my adhd, and go to behavioral therapy to help me with executive dysfunction, like establishing better patterns for self motivation. Autism is on a spectrum, but there are certain types of therapy that can help those who have more trouble with social interaction. Both conditions can be debilitating, but there are absolutely things that can be done to improve one’s behavior (if that’s a primary concern) and manage the symptoms. And it’s on us to try to improve our lives and work towards better habits; I know firsthand that not addressing it and just living with the dysfunction is no way to exist in this world.

And I do agree there are ways to help manage and therapy can REALLY make a huge impact in learning to “face the disability” so to speak but it’s still not something you “overcome” in the sense you of leaving it behind. It’s with you for life. Medication for me started to have a negative effect and made me almost commit suicide and hurt those around me (diagnosed with depression since, I don’t agree with this diagnosis). The chemical fuck up in my brain from popping pills that are supposed to help me has basically ruined my life more than the disability ever did. Atm the only thing that seems to help the most, without any serious side effects is cannabis, specifically high THC concentrate syrup for when symptoms are bad and high concentrate CBD products for daily management. Unfortunately I can’t get it legally In the uk (yet), even tho my doctor has actually tried . There’s a government program to apply for such medication, but it’s highly “locked off” and usually they only accept those that either go private or have serious life threatening conditions.

Obesity is always due to a bad lifestyle. Sure, some people are a little fatter than others despite that, but no one is obese (or even overweight) from a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Obesity also has a ton of negative effects on health (both from the lifestyle - especially cardiovascular disease - as well as from just being obese - especially to joints, cardiovascular system, lungs etc.; also worth pointing out that cardiovascular disease is the most common cause of death (even more than cancer) in the Western world and most of those cases could be avoided by simply living a more balanced and healthy life - note: hypercholesterolemia can be a genetic condition that significantly increases the risk of cardiovascular disease too; but is greatly aided by a more "Western" lifestyle; something we see being adopted more in East Asia, where this condition is more common and thus it becoming more of a problem as a result). So for people to point that out (shaming isn't the right way to do that, but people should be able to talk about it and discourage it), especially in countries with a health care system like most European countries (because needless to say that these people are a huge burden/expense), shouldn't be something out of the ordinary. In fact, any attempt to justify such a lifestyle is utterly despicable, as you are encouraging these people to live worse lives. You could just the same claim that people with suicidal thoughts or depression shouldn't get professional help, because, oh, well it's perfectly normal and we should just accept them as they are. The best thing for a young man to do in today's age honestly Is just avoid social media like TikTok, Twitter etc. TH-cam is fine because you can effectively select what you view and it can be educational. But outside of that, social media is just this super feminised environment where denigration of men and masculinity is not only normalised, but celebrated. And if you speak out about that fact, well, you're just exemplifying your "fragile masculinity". I take medication for my adhd, and go to behavioral therapy to help me with executive dysfunction, like establishing better patterns for self motivation. Autism is on a spectrum, but there are certain types of therapy that can help those who have more trouble with social interaction. Both conditions can be debilitating, but there are absolutely things that can be done to improve one’s behavior (if that’s a primary concern) and manage the symptoms. And it’s on us to try to improve our lives and work towards better habits; I know firsthand that not addressing it and just living with the dysfunction is no way to exist in this world.

And I do agree there are ways to help manage and therapy can REALLY make a huge impact in learning to “face the disability” so to speak but it’s still not something you “overcome” in the sense you of leaving it behind. It’s with you for life.
Medication for me started to have a negative effect and made me almost commit suicide and hurt those around me (diagnosed with depression since, I don’t agree with this diagnosis).
The chemical fuck up in my brain from popping pills that are supposed to help me has basically ruined my life more than the disability ever did.
Atm the only thing that seems to help the most, without any serious side effects is cannabis, specifically high THC concentrate syrup for when symptoms are bad and high concentrate CBD products for daily management.
Unfortunately I can’t get it legally In the uk (yet), even tho my doctor has actually tried .
There’s a government program to apply for such medication, but it’s highly “locked off” and usually they only accept those that either go private or have serious life threatening conditions.

So for people to point that out (shaming isn't the right way to do that, but people should be able to talk about it and discourage it), especially in countries with a health care system like most European countries (because needless to say that these people are a huge burden/expense), shouldn't be something out of the ordinary. In fact, any attempt to justify such a lifestyle is utterly despicable, as you are encouraging these people to live worse lives. You could just the same claim that people with suicidal thoughts or depression shouldn't get professional help, because, oh, well it's perfectly normal and we should just accept them as they are.
Being taller or shorter on the other hand... well, no real major medical drawbacks (unless it's something extreme like dwarfism); though it's true that (some evidence suggests) shorter people have a greater chance of suffering cardiovascular disease, but on the other hand taller people have a greater chance of getting cancer, so yes, there are some differences, but all in all negligible, really. But from a lifestyle perspective there's little you can do to change your height (except by eating well, which most people do - height increase since the 1800s in the Western world; with an enormous difference (about 15cm) - during the phase of your life that your bones still allow growth, which for most is till around their 20s, but rarely even till 30s or later, but mostly takes place during puberty).

I’ve actually been struggling with depression and ADHD, and not ONCE! Have I used my diagnosis to get attention or fish for comments. It’s really just a pain in the ass, and talking about it like everyone should feel sorry for you doesn’t help
Hey man thankyou for your honesty and even if you did want to talk about it don't feel like you can't :) some people make it kinda funny I know it's a pain on the butts but you should be able to talk about it without fear :) I follow this gal Laura clery (fb and TH-cam) and she just makes me crack up I love her!! She's so ridiculously honest about her ADHD but she's not fishing for attention she just does a really awesome job of making people see how amazing anyone can be no matter what condition they have and hope to see more of it 😊 peace 😊
@@robynneelliott1981 I like joking about my ADHD and depression aswell as my tourettes quite often, as it takes away from the seriousness of it and makes me happier and not think about it. That doesn’t mean I’m fishing for attention or trying to make people feel bad for me. It’s just who I am. Plus, I am diagnosed by an actual doctor, so even if I was fishing for attention, I have proof that I actually have it haha

OHHH MY GOD!! FINALLY!!! I’ve been seeing her on my FYP Tik Tok page and I also hate her laugh and also saw that she is a one trick pony by talking about a man’s height and hairline. Finally someone says what I’ve been thinking. I go to her comments and get infuriated that no one sees what I see.
