Hi, it does take about 4 hours for mine to charge the battery about half. I usually only use about half the battery every day so I don't drain it fully. The charger is only3 amp, so quite slow, but at least it's safe. I worked out if i chanrged it for a full year every day and used about half the battery for each ride, it would cost me about £16 pounds. It costs me about 8 pence a day or 40 pence a week to charge it, so I haven't notcied any increase in my electricty bill. To be honest i could charge it at work and it wouldn't cost me anything but its easier at home. You'll save hundreds of pounds it you buy an ebike. It's already saved me £450 pounds in 5 weeks not taking the underground. I think they may be going to release the L4 soon, but i don't know when. Hope it helps. It's been a great bike so far.
mine doesnt keep any milage ridden even on the ODO , well it adds a mile or 2 now and then even if riddem a 100 miles lol
