CV Driving Scania S520 - Stopped for inspection

- Driving through rainy Kristiansand, had to drive through the weightstation for a quick visual inspection, road tax check and scaling. For some reason image stabilisation wasn´t working so there is no floating effect, probably because of the water on the windscreen or it was too dark already.

but if you work for a stricted and well built company, you’ll get a real work schedual, and will have nice workdays.
The excitement wears off quickly...be smart and get into a trade...electrician, carpenter, plumber, mechanic...
@@billygreenhorn9275 I was excited for exactly 2 months. After 6 months I quit entirely. 5-6 days on the road a week wore me out. Pretty crappy food, bad hygene, loneliness, feeling like wasting my life and practically 24 hrs in a small cabin took it's toll. If you can get past those things, yeah..go for it. Trucking, 10% best job in the world, 90% worst. IMO.
Loved the rain and the autumn colours. With the darkish tone of everything because of the murky sky, the colours have this juicy, muffled intensity. Also, generally, few things bit the serenity of driving a car in a light rain.

One thing I love about trucks is how tall u sit, you get to see so much more then what an average car driver would

Hello Friend. Recently I have seen your videos and I have enjoyed them minute by minute. Hopefully you can make some videos to describe all the details of the truck, both inside and outside, also if there is an opportunity to enter a Ferry. How lucky to have the opportunity to drive that beautiful Scania, and also drive on those roads where you post the videos. I am from Mexico and until recently the Scania trucks have appeared little by little, however there are many passenger buses in my country and they are beautiful (I love the Irizar PB). I play ATS and ETS2 and just 2 weeks ago I am driving the New Scania and watching your videos I have done it in such a professional way that I enjoy traveling more and more. I have managed to find the perfect sound of the truck as well as an exceptional physics and literally being that I am driving a real one and I enjoy every moment the sound of the engine, changing and lowering speeds, activating the retarder, in automatic and parking. What wonderful landscapes there are in Europe. In real life my activities have nothing to do with driving, however every time I have the opportunity to drive on roads I enjoy it immensely. When I was younger I drove a lot of the roads in my whole country, although not with a truck but in a car but I would be enormously happy driving in Scania in Europe. In 1999 I had the opportunity to travel to Holland when the Guilder was still used and not the Euro, it was a great experience. Greetings from america. Great work yours.

Thanks! I listen to music all the time but just not while recording because most viewers prefer to listen engine sound and also because of copyright issues.

I have been driving for 5 and a half years and been driving with different types of trucks, also with 25,25 meters B-link, it was my first driving experience with it. I have been working for the same company all the time and been driving here with different trucks, DAF XF105 , and Volvo FH3 and FH4 but most of the time with Scanias, I used to drive with streamline Scania R520 before this new generation.

Andrei Sebastian There are lots of truckstops and gas stations with showers in Norway and Sweden, also some companies where I load have showers. Some places have washing machines aswell but I have used it only once because I take enough clothes with me. Also the truck is equiped with everything you need for living - Bed, TV, Unlimited WiFi all over the Scandinavia, fridge, gas stove, microwave, coffee machine. I usually eat in a restaurants because I’m too lazy to prepare my own food, I keep only breakfast stuff in my fridge.

It's a scale inspection, just to verify if you aren't overloaded ! you just have to stop few seconds

Yeah my bad bro didn't saw it .. and i knew it was norway !! Cuz i do recognised the road and i knew it was norway ( I do play a game that is inspired from Trucking 😂😂 )
What do they normally Check in these control stations? Only brakes and tires or More things? I have been travelling in norway by Truck But Never got controlled.
Papers in general, driving/resting time, tires, brakes, strapping of loaded items, weight, correct number of chains ready in winter time. Tires are a big issue, especially in winter time. Sadly quite many driving around with one or more as good as worn out tires, especially Eastern Europe trucks/trailers. In a control they mainly check the obvious things. If a truck /load comes in looking in less good condition, and/or papers are a mess and so on, then they can decide to do a bigger inspection

29 tons sounds bit heavy :) keyboard driver myself :) but 22 ton rice + 7600kg trailer with a 360hp engine was fun, no rocket exactly :)
How much can you pull with that truck?
I can pull 50 tons, which means around 32 tons of cargo.
Thanks, did a 39 ton haul on a 460 volvo 4x2, maybe not even legal out on the real road, axel weight and such, but it worked ok, but short drive from Stockholm(Västberga) to Västerås.
