Hey Kristo! was thinking of doing a video with driving in the snow myself but we dont have that much snow around Stockholm yet. I really dont like the winter but driving on these roads in a warm cabin and drinking coffe sure is nice, take care. 👍
I've been driving across Europe for 7 years, Scania R420 with a fridge. Never got the opportunity to drive in Sweden or Norway. Every time I miss driving, I watch your videos, and then I miss it even more. Is the truck 6x4 all the time or it can be 6x2? Happy trails!
3 reasons why I enjoyed this POV drive to 100% 1. I love trucks, and the best sounding trucks - for me - are Scania trucks, of course I prefer to see/hear the V8 models (who wouldn't? :D), but the ones with the 13 litre inline 6 also do sound nice. To instant hear this mighty V8 at different RPM and different states of load is fascinating and a pleasure! 2. The nature of Sweden and Norway is INSANE, it's just a dream. And long routes across (and even through) big mountains, tight turns and much more... I'm a bit envious. :D 3. What I love about the POV-Drives in general is the feeling of driving the vehicle myself. But I think it's definitely more safe when You steer this heavy truck on snowy/icy road. Cause I never would have the capabilities/courage to drive it this precisely and careful at optimal speeds. Great respect and stay safe on all following trips!
The most important skill on roads like these is actually to NOT drive to fast, because it is easy to set speed up, with a heavy drivetrain and a lot of grip.. But if you do drive just 2 km/h too fast, you'd slide off in the first corner you meet.. Balance is what matters here.. ;)

Such beautiful landscapes. A white paradise in my view. Apparently Sweden tends to be less and less of a white paradise these days, but that's a different matter 😄
these new scania trucks are very stable on the roads, firm steering, one can drive them almost like a small car, go quick along the roads and quick around the corners
