Dang 30k for a chassis...that's pretty spendy for a 20 year old truck! I would pay that if it was a deleted 6.7 swap with all new updated interior and everything. Seen someone swap all the interior from a new truck into an excursion and it was nice!

Very cool intro; it starts with a burning map and a wagon train, or something? Wicked flat-top guitar pickin' away...been a long time!! Anyway, NOT Boss Hog! That guys's a semi-liquid slob. I'm a big fan of your Big Dog Excursion work! I want one so bad. My poor Excursion is taking a beating in the Northern climate but it still hauls the mail for me. When I can get the bank robbed you'll be the first to know. You make a perfect Haas and glad to see you have a sense of humor about it.
If I remember right the Excursions GVWR was 8800-9400 lbs . In a diesel form the 4x4s weigh over 8300 lbs with no one in them. Tell me how this things going to carry 9 people and pull a 15000 lb trailer with a 1500 lb tongue weight and not be grossly overloaded ? These things are so payload limited they can’t even carry 6 big men and no trailer and not be overloaded .
Would you have any interest in buying a '05 Limited. 6.0L is getting oil in the coolant system. Local shops think its either the head(s) or block; oil cooler checked out. Don't have $$$ to re-engine this truck.

craigb757 they won’t. Insurance often look at market value. Whatever money you add to your rig, it’s lost money. Pretty much your insurance take add ons at some point but they sure won’t cover any modifications. They are in the game to make as much money as possible. You can purchase gap on it but I don’t know if that would help much.
Bill recommended these 7.3 guys for he knows so I call them up ask them what's the best programmer for my truck they tell me the hydro chip so I buy the chip they recommended installed it and it worked great for engine but if you get on it. it shifts in and out of overdrive so I called hydrochip producer and told them what it was doing there answer was we can sell you a valve body for transmission but there not sure that would even fix it so dont take there word for it find an expert on this matter or talk to Bill and see what he has to say

Hay bill this is for sure going to hit the custom in the wallet with the clamp down from the government. If the customer is not spending madd somes of money for the deletes stuff now they have to basically every 100k fork out between 3-4000k on a new exhaust. Even if they maintained the truck correctly and used a good fuel treatment on every tank. It really suck. Am i about right on the replacement interval give or take 20k?

Insurance is a racket anyways. But insurance companies will insure anything; the amount you’ll have to pay however is the real concern.
