Inexpensive 18650 Battery Tester

- Test 18650 battery for Mah or Milliamps Hours. I recycle old laptop batteries and recover the usable batteries and recycle the bad batteries at Home Depot (one can find other places to recycle rechargable batteries). This small inexpensive Battery Tester is inexpensive and does the job to find how many MaH is left compared to a new battery. Usually 18650 batteries from a laptop has about 2000 to 2500 MaH per battery. So after a discharge in the tester I charge the battery and let it sit for couple weeks before testing its remaining capacity. Not all 18650 batteries are bad, when your laptop refuses to work. Many times only one or two batteries are bad and the rest have 80% of their life left in them. One can purchase inexpensive 18650 battery bank holder and use them for years to come. Make sure not to short-circuit any battery, because they will explode and burn!!! The battery on the left side powers the meter and the battery on the right is the tested battery,

The CERAMIC resistor is 10W 8 ohms. I hope that is what you needed. Have a great day.

On my tester is only one ceramic resistor. On the right bottom corner is a green connector - that is battery input, not a resistor!
i only wish the thing was in english , lol.
But it works and soon you don't need any help to use it. By the same token they could make English version but they are not thinking about you and me, just themselves!
