What you need to tell your customers is that there are two blanking plugs installed in the appliance spigots; one external and one internal between the joint. The hidden internal plug can be deadly to your washer if you don’t know it’s even there and proceed to install it as-is!
Haha I found this out the hard way
Instead of installing that whole pipe is there a smaller one that I can and screw in so that I can connect dishwasher and washing machine
The WM11 will accommodate most dishwasher and washing machine outlets.
Does this have to be fitted to a Threaded standpipe or is it a Compression fitting ?
The WM11 is a kitchen sink trap designed to connect to your kitchen waste outlet. We also manufacture a compression fit for connection to a WM3 Standpipe (Product code: V33-WM) - mcalpineplumbing.com/traps/domestic-appliance-traps-accessories/twin-connector/
The appliance trap seems to leak any advice?
Specifically washing machine. I have add the blanking and drilled a hole to prevent leaking but surprised no rubber seal came with this
Here are the installation instructions: bit.ly/3JtM5OK
There should be no requirement for a washer on the Nozzle due to the conical manufacturing of the part but if you would like to DM us with a video we may spot something.
