- A popular upgrade to any RV. In the video we show you our rv recliner installation. A simple DIY that can be done in 1 day. This upgrade was done to our 2016 Thor Hurricane 29M be fore we sold it 6 months later. The RV recliner were purchased through RecPro and delivered right to the house.

We are starting to look at doing a furniture swap ourselves while we are here in FL. Love that style of recliner.

Thank you for this video. What sofa recliner brand and model did you purchase from recpro?
Husband and I just replaced our couch in our new camper. We found the camper couch was very uncomfortable and It did not recline and it did not come with an ottoman. The biggest key in the whole thing is to pay attention to your length your height, and even your width if you have it in what is part of a slide out, also make sure if you’re doing the recliner that it’s a wall hugger recliner.

I got the recpro quad set up with 9" console and cloth in " fossil" color. It's simply not comfortable. The cloth has a "ruggedized" texture and is not soft and then the cushion is sufficient but on the firm side. So you cant effortlessly slouch on the couch.

Thank you! We ordered our recliners from Rec Pro. Chris measured the overall width of the space and ordered the ones that fit. Hopefully this is helpful information.
Thank you for this. We've wanted to replace the couch in our Class C Chateau 31Y but couldn't envision how to deal with the 2 vents. This showed a clear way as that middle box would have room for two....if two could fit behind the chair...? Would you say there is room there for 2? Our furniture is so uncomfortable but the rig will still work for us for another year or 2.

Looks like you just pulled off the highway and did this in a rest stop?? This is something we have talked about doing. We have a jack knife sofa instead of a fold out bed. How much were the recliners and middle piece? Remind me to talk with y'all about this next month in FL
Lol! That's funny. We were in the parking lot of my in-law's business. I had no awareness of traffic or anything else. Live and learn. It was an upgrade worth doing. Looking forward to our meeting in January.

How did you thread the seatbelts through? Was it an obvious path for the belts?
Yes. Just pulled them through the space between the seat and upright portion of seat. The belts were already bolted to the floor. Very easy to pull them through. Hope this helps. And thanks for your comment.
Did you install the RecPro Charles 67” - I have a 2017 Thor Hurricane 29M and would like to do this but am not sure it will fit?
We don't exactly remember the model number. Chris just measured the space then went on their website and ordered the one that fit our space. We sold the rig a few years ago but loved our RecPro recliners. Hope you find the perfect one for your rig.

We sold that RV over a year ago but loved those recliners. Would purchase from Rec Pro again. Very comfortable!
Do the recliners fit through your regular rv door?
Yes they do. They come in 2 pieces, bottom or seat and the back. Very easy to install. Just make sure to measure you RV door first before you order them.
