If they had to knock on every door they would need two extra hours a day. They work very very hard. They r rushing constantly and actually got that to you a day early and not in the weather. They also watch the weather. If it had been raining they would have came to the door. You didn't like that they didn't knock but your glad it didn't come the day it was scheduled bcuz of the storm" Do all things without grumbling" They have a tough job. I give my UPS..FEDX AND MAIL CARRIER treats, cold water in the summer and they all get Christmas cash. I appreciate everything they do to get ALL those thousands and thousands of packages out everyday. And 80 pounds?? You should be thankful.
It started raining, then snowing, about 2 hours after they dropped it off. If I hadn't accidently noticed that they were there, my recliner would have been out in the rain. Sorry, that is NOT acceptable! They dropped it right near my door. I was inside. It would have taken them an extra 15 seconds to ring the doorbell.
The story of your grandparents made me smile and cry at the same time. My grandparents also have long past but they also set together like this and brought back some wonderful memories. Although I miss them very much I’m very thankful for the memories. Thank you for another great video.
The video is great and I love how you guys show people how to be simple and free but the thing I enjoy the most! From watching and listening to you both is the enjoyment that you two have with each other. It lights up my day! The chairs are beautiful!

I can only sleep in a recliner chair, since my bone cancer in my left arm, and I have lower back issues. I do add a couple of pillows on each arm rest, it is like a bed. I am a side sleeper and by doing this I can actually side sleep from time to time, sometimes I fall asleep straight and wake up on my side. What a blessing for me to have found I can rest in a recliner chair and I don't wake up hurting all over. I have a conversion van low roof, I added a recliner to it so I can travel and rest away from home also. How my bed travels, comfort and rest is everything for old bodies like mine at 73 years old. I am so happy for you both to have this.
My husband and I decided to buy two recliners for our rv while spending the winter in Florida. We found two nice ones at a Big Lots store. My husband and a store employee (bless him) spent 20 minutes wrestling with them and finally had to remove the door frame to get them both in. They look a little worn now but instead of replacing them we've decided to sell the camper. Live and learn.
That looks so comfortable and relaxing. I have to say, the two of you make a great team! My grandparents had their chairs and I still remember my grandmother in the kitchen, finishing up something and my grandfather (having been outside working on the farm all day) calling out to her from his chair in the living room, "Leona - the "Girls" are on!" The "Girls" were, of course, The Golden Girls. 😉

I think parcel deliveries are the same everywhere. We had a parcel thrown under a bush in the front garden. No mention of it being delivered, my husband found the parcel by accident as we do not often go out the front of our house.
Parcel delivery people from FedEx and UPS are very responsible in my neighborhood.

I thought the same, in fact, when I start missing the good old days I rewatch many of their tiny house videos. It's amazing how these two have kept me grounded over the years. I'm very grateful they share with us. 🙂

I hear you about delivery people..we have many packages delivered to the wrong door, that we hardly ever use. They don't use the door bell or knock. We have to check there, especially when we are expecting a delivery. We had something delivered that we weren't expecting, my daughter just happened to see it at front door as she was helping take down Christmas decorations. It was an IMPORTANT letter!! I think i am going to put a sign on that door saying to ring door bell...please!!
Comfortable recliners my last sofa was great I used to put on a dvd recline and never see the end of a movie best sleeps ever

I found you two before the holidays and listened to a story about all the house losses. I thought no one could understand my hurt. My husband and I saved for 22 years and built a beautiful log home on the water on a piece of land my in-laws gave us. A few years later in a “ falling out “ they took the land back and took our home which was our whole retirement. Our place to feel safe in our later years. It was too horrible to begin to detail but my struggle is trying not to hate my MIL. She coldly and laughingly took our everything of 24 years. I lost things my mother gave me from childhood. I know the Lord will provide and maybe not here but he will in eternity. But I see the two of you in that trailer with such appreciation of the Lords gifts and I know I can get through this. We moved back to ca, most expensive state because this is where our careers were and we had to start over at 55 and 60. It feels too late but we hope and pray we can have a small trailer to travel and try to forget past hurts. Thank you for your channel. Stay blessed and in love

The recliners just fine just great. So happy for you. We got 8 inches of snow here in our town in middle Tennessee. I made snow cream 2 times yesterday. Now I am ready for spring. We had temperatures in the 70's the day before it snowed. I got outside to do a video of it and like to have froze. I hope you and Elizabeth have a blessed 2022.
I am so very excited for you both!! I live full time in my RV right now and this is VERY exciting as a goal to get installed here.
Oh my goodness! If I had a recliner, I'd never be healthy again! I have to keep moving, exercising, running, hiking, biking and keeping busy to stay healthy. As soon as I see I've gained a pound, I work it off, then exercise my muscles to make sure I'm in tip-top shape. I'm 72 yeras old and I want to be healthy until the end. So far, so good... haven't had to see a doctor in at least 60 years. I was about 12 years old when I last saw a doctor and I've been healthy and full of energy. I actually still turn cartwheels on my back lawn with the grandchildren and the neighborhood children. Sometimes we cartwheel right into the pool with a big splash. Of course I make sure they they are not going to hit the side of the pool so I'm very strict on making sure they know how to cartwheel and to judge distance by using an inflatable pool without water for practice before we cartwheel into the real pool with water. It's a heck of a lot of fun!
Up here in Lancaster County, PA we only got a dusting on the windshields. Didn't even stick in the grass! But buddy, it sure got cold quick!! Next week is the farm show. Uh oh!😂

Can't wait to see what you do with the new van you guys now have since our channel is about van life with disabilities & we know Elizabeth has some health challenges. We removed our very uncomfortable couch and got La-Z-Boy wall hugger recliners and very happy with our decision. You’re going to love the new set up. We also removed one of the dining area benches. This gave us room for a little table between us for our drinks and a lamp. Our linoleum was pretty shabby and the carpet in the bed area worn so we replaced it with pergo. We also put it in the bathroom and replaced the bathroom sink with a small ceramic sink in a cabinet. Lowes had just the size we needed.
Did the same..swapped theater seating for two wall hugging recliners. Big improvement for us.
The years sure go by fast don't they! My 18 yr old son (my 4th surprise baby/blessing I had at 47) and I are re-modeling our old unused 2004 5th wheel into a shower room/bathroom to use at our cabin that has no indoor plumbing. We emptied it of everything but the master bedroom, kitchen and bath tub. We put in composting toilets in the bunk room and a big Kahuna water heater/shower where the original toilet was to the bathroom. My son took the same style couch as you had out, loved watching you do yours. I love how versatile RVs are! We were going to sell the RV but the cost of buying a portable toilet/shower building is lotsa money and too much electric etc we don't need! Anyhow thank you for sharing! Very nice recliners! We have a Winnebago that we need to replace the couch with too. I will show my husband this video. As far as UPS and FedEx - I don’t think they knock at anyones houses anymore. They used to at ours but I think that has changed because neither company does anymore. I just check outside each day when they usually arrive at my house. We are glad they don’t knock because we often have shift workers sleeping during the day. Sorry it aggravates you. I’m afraid you’re probably going to have to get used to it and just be diligent in looking.

Love your new settee...and I'm so sorry you can't rely on your delivery guys...we only get a few Fedex deliveries, so I can't really judge, but the UPS men are always so good...they bring everything right to our front porch, knock on our door and wave when we shout our 'thank you' to them...so many times these services are specific to your own local workers...we're just lucky...
UPS does the same thing as FedEx. Drop and run

We sold our trailer but kept the recliners and put the couch out so in our new trailer we need to do this exact same thing but I wasn't sure how it would be to get the base out. Thank you for the video. The recliners are so nice to have in a trailer.

So Exciting,,,Love the Van story!! My dad has a wonderful Ford diesel truck from since '98....Made for an RV is so perfect...everyone loves them like this...I love it with your neat fabric like we all love.
When we retired we decided to buy a new living room genuine leather loveseats we wanted cup holders and they are a wine color just beautiful my Cowboy is 6'2" and I'm 5'10" we saved and paid cash 💸 we bought 2 of them, comfort is the name of the game.

I met another couple who had done the same thing. They never regretted their recliners. Good up grade! My little RV is too small. Only has the table area. I have cut the table down so it still holds two cups and the scrabble board. Way more comfortable to sit at. The portion I cut off still fits down to make up the bed. It also works as a shelf under the table. I have added a cushion the same height as the bench seats so now when I remove the table, I can make a U shaped couch! I can move the shelf to where I want it so that I can stretch out like I'm on a couch a bit more.

Looks great! We know that you'll enjoy these recliners! We're just a bit older than you two and have a Cirrus 720 truck camper. The dinette is in front of the bed so we took the table out and put a piece of covered plywood between the two seats. Our rv dealer gave us a matching cushion from another camper to put on top of the plywood, so we have a deep, wide couch where we can face opposite of each other with our backs to the cushioned walls and put our legs up on the couch. We're so thankful for this comfortable couch!

Very nice. I’ve been sick this week with a cold and I’ve been sleeping in my recliner instead of bed. Recliners are great for sitting and sleeping.

I had a recliner that was built like them .it was easy to put together but hard to take apart. You will love them!
I think the loveseat/recliners look fantastic! Such a great update for your RV. Comfort aside, the couch was really dated and now the slide-out area looks so comfy AND pretty. Those are so nice, I had handles like those on a box tooo,so I cut them out & saved them & used in a sewing box I made,enjoy the sofaseat
