for real no one is going to be able to roast ariana harder than oli london calling her his fellow transracial ally and grouping her with him and michael jackson holy shit
honestly Ariana is a genius for creating such a close parasocial relationship with her fans, I want to believe her desire to connect with them is genuine, but either way it's such a smart business move. her fans will eat up anything and everything she puts out, and the truly diehard ones will defend every action til their last breath. it's sort of created a wall around her where whatever criticism she gets is watered down from having to go through her fans shielding her. (also that Black people's and POC's concerns aren't taken seriously but that's a separate issue)
Ngl feel like the only reason she doesn't get as much backlash is because she's decently likeable and her fanbase can get incredibly toxic at points where if you criticize anything they'll be at your throats

MJ did strive for perfection in his performances after all, which was a great but tainted trait cause it also harkened back to his dad's abusive practices.

Can I just say, as someone actually from Italy... Ariana Grande is AMERICAN. Her grandparents or great-grandparents idk may have been Italian but she was born and raised in America and doesn't seem to know or care about anything of our culture. The impression I get is that she says to be Italian because that makes her sounds 'fancy' and 'chic'. Not too different from Oli London claiming to be Korean now that I think about it...
@noracha i’m not sure this is a fair generalization. yes part of this is me being a second generation italian and getting defensive😭, but it’s also the fact that growing up, italian culture was such an important part of my life. having a Neapolitan grandpa who told us stories and going to ischia every year when i was younger, my family trying (but failing) to teach me italian (i’m working on it😭), learning about the art forms, having italian food at home, my father complaining about olive garden… so many more memories, it’s such a treasured part of me. it’s not some trendy thing i call myself. i do agree a lot of people who talk about being italian don’t know about the culture, but it doesn’t mean all. if you grow up with a culture, the more it’s a part of you, ariana obviously doesn’t know much about it, and uses it as a quirk, as we can see by the way she pronounces her last name🥲. but please don’t drag all italian americans down with her, a lot of us aren’t oblivious to our own privilege and Americanness as well as us being actually interested in their own roots. i must be such an annoying person to talk to im literally so sorry😭😭
I am not of asian decent but have almond shaped eyes. Actually I got bullied a lot when I was a child and called "chinese" as an insult. Considering the impact it had on me I am so deeply sorry for every asian person or POC in general out there who had and still has to endure discrimination and bigotry even though I have only felt the tiniest fraction of what it feels like. Y'all deserve your voices to be heard and this whole fetishizing ethnicities and reducing them to to a single nonsensical element has got to stop.
I can fully understand you. I live in a predominantly white private school and was called “blasian” when I am full black. My eyes are quite small compared to my other facial features, so they’d call me names or jokingly act like they are speaking Chinese and see if I understood.
@Jenete j same, back in high school some girl had the AUDACITY to ask me if i was chinese (cause she said cause of my eye shape) when she knew i was mexican smh
I don't think I was bullied for it, since my year in elementary school luckily didn't have much racial bullying, but I'm also a white person with rather almond shaped eyes. My eyes are hooded and not monolids, but they tilt up at the corners and have that lil puffy area under the eye that's popular in Korea to emphasize right now. I honestly only realized it because my eyes are slightly different shapes and I got super self conscious about it at a young age and started wearing my hair over one eye so nobody would notice. But bc I was aware of how they looked I started looking at other peoples' eyes and realized that they didn't really look like most white people eyes and wondered about my ancestry. Turns out I do have Native ancestry from the late 1800s, but I don't think that an ancestor from 4-5 generations back would have much of an impact on how I look today, so I think it's just a coincidence. It's kinda funny how as a kid I thought my eyes looked a little Asian, but as I grew up and saw more Asian people and made Asian friends I realized that nope the only Asian people I look like are those with double eyelids, generally obtained through surgery for celebrities.
Honestly HOW does she keep getting away with this? I hate how most people on the internet pick and choose who they cancel, sometimes to the point of ruining or permanently damaging their career, like if we’re not gonna call out everyone for these things then we shouldn’t call out anyone at all. This has gone on for way too long for her to not acknowledge it at least
People aren't realizing her double eyelid is almost completely erased and she has been either removing it with filters or in real- life. Also it's the fact that every time a new culture or race is the trend, she changes her face so drastically and colour to fit into that. All it takes is some pics on the internet to completely shock u into wondering how this is the same person. Also the fact she went from being darker than many mixed black person to pale is just... White celebs need to stop trying to look racially ambiguous
@@cutienerdgirl yeah but she didn't get surgery to remove her double eyelids. that's not what cateye surgery does. it really was bc of her makeup combined with the lighting in the photo. i have a background in photography it's very easy to see that she is just really washed out. which could be on purpose to look asian! but we're just saying that it's the makeup and lighting that contributed to it.
dear non-asians, many asians have differing opinions and you may support whichever ones you'd like. you may share your thoughts and speak your mind, but do NOT speak OVER asian voices on a topic like this. don't tell an asian person that they are stupid for disliking/supporting ariana's decisions, since it's really us who should be heard first and foremost.
It extremely clear that she intended to look more east Asian just by looking at her brows. She used to rock the "western" arch and now, post surgery, she's suddenly rocking the straight brow. She's on the cusp of Kpop idol and JWOWW at this point haha
@@wbk4822 She only had an arch back then when she had red hair, then she did surgery and her eyebrows were straight after that, also because of how much she pulled her hair because sometimes she had a tiny arch. If not, yeah.
Actually, Italians are of the Romance ethnic group. These are people who all share the same or similar physical attributes, history and culture. So not only a nationality.
I’m not Italian myself but I do a ton of genealogy and DNA research for my cousin who is and it’s definitely an ethnicity with very strong cultural connotations, not just a nationality.
@@imsomewhatokaysugar ‘romance’ doesn’t mean anything when it come to genetics, it is used to describe languages that derive from latin, in certain cases it can qualify cultures and geographical locations as well though. Italians in Italy are for the most part caucasians, some very fair, others rather dark. Italians who made Italy what is today did not all look the same, just take a look at Garibaldi and tell me he looks anything like the stereotypical Italian man foreigners always think of. So no, Italians might share history (sure) and culture (kinda) but no way we all looke the same, different genetic groups have occupied the peninsula for who knows how long and have intermingled a lot in the meantime.
the issue with traditionally asian features becoming more trendy right now is that it means it will one day be out of style and when that happens, the asians who don't just choose to adopt different racial features via surgery as the years pass, will still be very much asian. and in that moment--without ever asking for it-- we'll have become something that was in style and now out of style when all we did was exist. i feel like some people might be confused to why we feel upset towards traditional asian features becoming trendy and personally (speaking only for myself here since i am but one person) it upsets me bc i was bullied a lot growing up for having small eyes, flat face, etc. and any joy i feel now seeing those features be appreciated is quickly over shadowed by the fact that this acceptance is temporary and im not looking forward to when suddenly this appreciation is dropped with the start of a new "trendy face". ack not sure if that made any sense?? got a lot of feelings about this topic but i'm not very good with words
No you've got a MAJOR point. It's the fetishization that reeks from modern media surrounding Asians at this point. It's not just the hypersexualization (ie. "Foreign Asian women are very much wanted because they're exotic"), but I also see it as them taking the things WE WERE MOCKED AND BULLIED FOR and placing it as a trend to hypocritically say, "I'm not racist!! I'm enjoying their culture 🥺🥺" [+ also the infantilization of Asians that are a big issue too; (ie. Babying adult stars/influencers)] If you want to enjoy Asian culture, don't just modify yourself to look Asian and speak OVER Asian voices; listen to them and learn from them. Non-Asian folk don't get the head on megaphone with the asian-baiting that Ariana has been doing. - a Chinese person in the US.
i'm not asian but i think i can understand what you mean. giving a really silly example, i used to be made fun of for wearing glasses and some years later it became trendy that people would even wear fake ones. when i saw that i thought wow society is so fckn stupid, but it's easy to forget and ignore since it's just glasses. with races it's a way harder thing, it goes way deeper. because being certain races comes with a lot of heavy prejudice, and it isn't an object like the glasses. seeing it be treated as if it was one feels kinda dehumanising. features being trends feels so weird...
Ppl really like to pick and choose. Ppl like black ppl getting bullied for big lips, big butts and the accents and dark skin. Then the Kardashians and freinds do the same and it's ok. Asain ppl have been bullied for their eyes yet now ppl are qsain fishing and doing things popularized by asain ppl. Like damn. ITS OK TO BE WHITE FAM
Yeah I was made fun of for my freckles as a kid and then they were trendy for a while and now they aren't anymore and I'm just here existing like "why do you change your minds on what natural features are ok or attractive so often?" Like why can't the trends just be about makeup and hairstyles and clothes that aren't trying to emulate specific cultures and ethnic features? Like red hair is celto-germanic and I've been both made fun of and fetishized for it and while I don't mind people dying their hair red, I'd be MAD if someone who used to bully me or sexualize me (like asking "do the curtains match the drapes" when I was a teen 🤢) dyed their hair. Or if they did it just so they could play up the "sexy, fiery redhead" stereotype and profit off of it. I wish people would stop trying on ethnicities as if they were creating a character in the Sims.
People sometimes exgerate their accusations. One African girl on tiktok got called out for Asian fishing because she had monolids and wore long eyeliner to the point that she had to show her face without any makeup to prove her eyes were naturally monolids. I think there's something wrong with associating certain features with certain races since different ethnic groups have different traits that may be associated with another race
Oof, that's ignorant af. I agree with that last statement, it's just ethnic stereotyping all over again. I'm from Indonesia and people have diverse features here, I'm sure westerners would go insane by the fact that you can't fit us into neat little boxes. They'll look at my dark-skinned curly-haired boyfriend and dunk on him for blackfishing.
@@Sofiaode18 why would we do that? There’s plenty of people that have dark skin and curly hair in different races. You shouldn’t speak on this topic if you don’t understand.
Yeah, like people of certain races can have completely different features from what people of their race are associated with. Some people just can't seem to believe that a person who isn't Asian can have monolids or that a non-Black person have curly hair and such.
She had a pony tail lift which got rid of her crease and lifted her eyes. Fans will point out that she “still has eyelids” but you can tell their drawn on with makeup in recent pictures

While I think some people do overreact, there’s been a pattern with black fishing, Latino finishing and now this. I’m tired of hearing the excuse of being Italian.
As an Italian i am really pale and I do not get “naturally tan” over the summer because I’m Italian. Some Italians are darker than others due to family ancestry and exposure to sun, so Ariana grande being white one year and black the next year has nothing to do with being Italian and her just getting a tan of some sort (most likely spray on since she because such a darker tone), and I really do wish people would stop using stupid excuses to defend her
@@Fruitcake-yu5cx yeahhhh, I’m Mexican myself and can tan a lot during the summer due to me staying at a beach house, and even then I won’t get as darker as she does. There’s nothing wrong with spray tan, but I wish people would shut up about how it’s natural when no, lol. Was she forced to never see the sun in her Nickelodeon days? She has always portrayed herself as ethnically ambiguous to capitalise on other cultures. I wouldn’t go as far as say that the picture was intentional ( I do believe someone could’ve fucked up, either makeup artist or photographer ), but the pattern is what makes me question her.
People keep saying it's makeup but it's not her crease has disappeared even in her new videos .you don't get that effect with makeup.. especially for someone who had a deep crease like Ari...no hate .love your videos
theres several other pictures thats the same... When you look down in flash your eyelids are not gonna have as big shadow as before, its not rocket science
Wdym "her crease disappeared even in her new videos"? You can see her in The Voice with the same outfit, the same makeup, the same EYES, the same night and, this is such a weird thing to say, her crease is there
I have small eyes, and when I do crease makeup it makes my eyes look more wide but when I do no crease and only white shadow or transparent it looks like I don’t have any eyelids. Makeup can really enhance certain features
@@mikowhytho no, there were lots of lies and inconsistencies in the Leaving Neverland documentary and there's a lot of articles debunking the documentary
Also another thing to note is that transracial is an actual term that is being co-opted by the willfully ignorant. It's a serious and sad issue.
funny how when she was blackfishing her fans were like Italians tan in the summer but ever since she was done profiting from the trend her skin tone has remained light for nearly two years now EVEN IN THE SUMMER. Its unexpectable how people are standing up for her when literal asians are offended by the way she edited her eyelids. You can even tell the difference on the shade on her skin on the two pictures. @@Jauhelihakeitto She didn't look like this before. If you search up a picture from just 2 months ago you will see she was way darker even after she stopped tanning. How does flash make your eye crease disappear? She changes her race every few months.
i think the main issue people has is she changes what race she looks like by what's "trending". so she can look more black when black features are trending in media, but when it's no longer trendy she moves onto the next thing. and meanwhile, actual dark-skinned women who are actually black can't just decide they don't want to look how they do anymore. and long after the tend ends, they'll still be attacked and discriminated against for their skin color and features. and same with asians. she can make her eyes look more slanted and elongated, make her skin lighter and alter the undertone for the trend of it at the moment, but once it's all gone, she can follow what the next trend it. but when elongated eyes and asian features are no longer en vogue, actual asian people can't change. and that's what i've understood is the issue with blackfishing, asianfishing, and ariana grande. but ur also right, some ppl just literally do winged eyeliner and get called asian-fishes, as if winged liner hasn't existed for decades
So I'm not a Ariana fan or hater just like some of her music and think her voice is amazing. But from a neutral standpoint since I've seen her since victorious days. She's been tanning since that show before the show she never tanned. And she was forced to so I honestly can't be mad about someone who did something for years due to work and continued the habit once away from that work and now has changed due to back lash.
Yea this is getting confusing. But i do think all this is based on following trends. Gotta be honest sometimes i feel proud when someone tries to do their make up to look a bit more like asian. U know it's like, aww they're inspired by my race. Different story if they make fun of it tho..
About the eyeliner I'm sure that most people who got accused for asian fishing for winged (even Doll) eyeliner were accused from white people (I saw it happen a lot) I don't think we asians would call someone out for winged or doll eyeliner because that's in fact not offensive I even saw someone being accused of asian fishing who wasn't even wearing makeup
I'm so annoyed with some of her fans. they were defending her when she was tanning saying thats her natural skin color and now they are defending her saying she looks like this because she stopped tanning. wasnt she naturally tan? what does skin color have to do with her eye shape that has clearly changed.

idk if i have a right to speak on this because im asian but not quite from the east, but seeing people do this is just weird. Not only makes me uncomfortable just thinking about someone adopting a race's traits to look 'aesthetic' when said race has been tormented for having the same traits, it also makes me think about how easily people just take on another whole ass culture or race and just wear it like it was their own like bruh- appreciation and straight up just being weird is different. as someone who previously loved ari, im just tired. well more than i was before that is.
Nah if you’re an Asian it’s fine to speak I believe, I’m a South-East Asian, personally I don’t really feel like commenting on the situation but I believe as long as you are Asian you have a right to speak up on the situation.
Sad seeing so many white BTS stans defending her in the comments. You enjoy entertainment produced by Asian artists but can't support them when they're facing discrimination? Wreaks of performative activism :/
Your point about whether Ariana has actually claimed to be a diff. race- no, but she and her team have actively and consistently made use of racialized codes to paint her as ethnically ambiguous, buckets of spray tan and styling choices, but also the way she speaks. I haven’t heard any interviews with Ariana grande for a while, but when she was in her seven rings era especially, a lot of her speech mannerisms were clearly coded as aave- she is trained to mimic, after all- and she would “ switch”depending on the context. See also her twitter feed, her use of “finna,” and “out of pocket,” etc. this is a new “aesthetic” for her, but the sad things is that a person’s actual race and lived experiences can ignored and used by a rich white celeb as an aesthetic to begin with. With her, the motive and end results will always be her appropriating a different culture and race.
exactly, people forget she’s not an idiot, she’s intentionally changing her aesthetic to change with the times. during her thank u next era she would horribly appropriate aave and showcased her “childhood best friend” (a black woman who’s name escapes me at the moment) and profited off of black culture. now that she’s going for a more ambiguous/east asian loon that “childhood best friend” is nowhere to be found and the aave usage has dropped off. i don’t hate ari or anything but she’s still doing some fucked up things.
It is okay either to be not. It is okay to change your appearance to look like a boy or a girl but when race, it is not? Do you think this is a logical argument though?
@@archive2500 let’s focus on one thing at a time…the thing with race swapping is each race goes through their own struggles and hate and the fact people can borrow a race when it’s convenient is not okay…e.g people black fishing and stereotypically depicting what a black person looks like or acts . Non-asians should not be having a say in this matter, they shouldn't be defending her when they're not the ones whose facial features are being used for profit. It’s the eyelids that really get me. I don’t know if they’ve been photoshopped out or surgically altered, but that to me is her crossing the line of ‘Asianfishing’.
im not asian so i cant speak on behalf of asians, but as someone who's black and has always been bullied for how i looked and how my body was shaped, seeing so celebs praised for those features, i completely get the frustration. shes definitely done stuff like this too many times to continue getting away with it.
Nowadays, beauty standards are shifting more towards black and Asian beauty. It’s good that people other than white are now being appreciated and upheld as beautiful! To a certain extent, anyone who has their finger on the pulse of fashion is going to end up making themselves look more black or Asian because that’s what’s in fashion right now. I wish more people would keep that in mind. But some people definitely take it too far. I think Ariana crossed the line with that pic where her eyelids are edited out. We can be inspired by a wide range of beauty types without putting on an ethnicity costume.
I feel like Ariana has a lot of immunity and a lot of it is due to society’s unconscious bias towards people with the “halo effect”. She can’t do wrong according to her fans. I appreciate you bring up this topic because it needs to be discussed. Of course she’s not Oli London but as you’ve pointed out, there are similarities. I guess if Oli wanted to be more appreciated in doing his plastic surgery, he should take notes from Ariana Grande. Might be too late though

I remember seeing an interview with some Chinese/Argentinian girls that said people asked them if they could see with their eyes like that, like bro, after that I began to question humanity more. Oh, and then I've seen some makeup videos where people were saying a girl was trying to look more white and got a double eyelid surgery and she had to explain that asians can naturally have double eyelids too, not everyone looks the same, like aaaaaaAaaaaaaa
To be fair, there are TONS of Asian makeup videos where the girls do look practically Caucasian afterwards. I've always found this a tad strange but never had a problem with it. What I do have a problem with is hypocrisy. No one is ever in those comments dragging them like they do if, god forbid, a white girl wants to be tan, wear cat eye makeup, or have plump lips, etc.
I swear white people think you gotta use your whole eyeball to see 😭 I’m white and native american and my eyes are just naturally less “open”, and I can fucking see fine. But when I need an ID or something they’re always like “Can you open your eyes wider?” and I try to (Cause how tf do you do that?) and they’re like “No not like that!” when my eyebrows go too. Like- It annoys me cause every other time in my life my eyes are fine. People expect your eyes to show the whole eyeball for some reason
I have noticed that Ariana shape shifts depending on her moods and types of music she’s recording. When seen with African American people, she has a MUCH darker spray tan and accents her backside. As K-pop gets more popular, her eyes do seem to appear more Asian. As far as Oli London is concerned, he seems scary and psychologically unwell and reminds me of The Beatles obsessed Mark David Chapman that shot and murdered John Lennon. He should NEVER be allowed near our precious Jimin 💜
not sure if ari got her eyelids edited out in the pictures, but her eyelids have definitely gotten less apparent as a result of her plastic surgeries-- allegedly a ponytail facelift could also explain why her eyes look pulled back and her eyebrows look more raised than older photos
As a minority myself(I’m black) I’d like to say BE AWARE if you ARENT Asian, you can speak your mind, but YOU ARE NOT THE MINORITY THIS SITUATION IS FOCUSED ON. We need to respect another/a minority’s opinions and approaches on things directed towards them. And support each other and listen and learn. I hope my point gets across… And have a good day, night, Afternoon or evening❤️. Edit:since people don’t consider I’m speaking from an American perspective as I see news about an American women. And if you think I’m trying to be a hero for saying what I said that’s gross. It’s just human decency and common sense.
@@jojosumit7690 yeah, it really pisses me off how everything is viewed from an American perspective. I don’t agree with Ariana’s actions at all but calling Asians a minority is just completely wrong.
there's something inherently wrong in the term "asianfishing". these people are copying korean/southeast asian features, asia is a whole ass continent with various countries and ethnicities. you'll be surprised to see how different south asian people look if your idea of "asian" is limited to kpop stars. its so hurtful as a south asian when people use the term "asianfishing" to denote solely southeast/east asian features, as if other asians don't fit the "asian aesthetic".
@Victoria Amber the term weaboo and koreaboo already exist for people trying to look like southeast asian cultures🤷♀️ or while talking about the specific case of "asianfishing" the particular asian area whose features are being appropriated can be mentioned, like "asianfishing of south east asian features"/ "south east asian fishing"

@@Prettiestoutoftheprettiest What she/he/they meant was that they use the term "asian fishing" to refer to someone who tries to look EAST Asian, however the "asian fishing" should refer to the whole of asia if a person is actually doing it. Why call it "asian fishing" if it's only gonna refer to east Asia? Asia isn't just Korea, japan, Vietnam or China. There's a lot more than those countries and if someone is gonna refer to "asian fishing" They should use it in the context of the whole of asia. And may I correct you as a South Asian that east Asians and south Asians do NOT look the same. Your stereotypical east Asian will have a monolid, have a small forehead, look pale, thin lips and etc. However, the stereotypical south Asians have the vice versa. Double eye lids, not too big, but still big, forehead, tanned skin etc. Sure, not every asian looks the same, but if someone refers to south asian or east Asian, this will be their first description which comes to mind.

Now that k-pop and anime/manga is in the mainstream media, it's suddenly cool and attractive to have eastern asian features. Before it was trendy we had people making the "asian eyes" at us by pulling at the corner of their eyes. These are the same people who think asia is a monolithic society, and completely disregard the existence of other parts of asia that isn't a part of eastern asia. Ariana Grande is using this to further her influence because it is what is trendy in the moment and will give her a bigger following, nothing else. She profits off of the same features that have gotten us put in internment camps, subjected to hate-crimes and discriminated against throughout history and then gets to take it off at the end of the day.
I agree with you. She has no idea what it means to be European.
Audrey Hepburn was more Italian than her LOL
But her family is it
I swear I was about to comment the same thing, thank you for pointing it out!
This!!
Tell me about it then people who aren't even black/asian would tell us that were sensitive its so fucked up

So no, Italians might share history (sure) and culture (kinda) but no way we all looke the same, different genetic groups have occupied the peninsula for who knows how long and have intermingled a lot in the meantime.
the issue with traditionally asian features becoming more trendy right now is that it means it will one day be out of style
and when that happens, the asians who don't just choose to adopt different racial features via surgery as the years pass, will still be very much asian. and in that moment--without ever asking for it-- we'll have become something that was in style and now out of style when all we did was exist.
i feel like some people might be confused to why we feel upset towards traditional asian features becoming trendy and personally (speaking only for myself here since i am but one person) it upsets me bc i was bullied a lot growing up for having small eyes, flat face, etc. and any joy i feel now seeing those features be appreciated is quickly over shadowed by the fact that this acceptance is temporary and im not looking forward to when suddenly this appreciation is dropped with the start of a new "trendy face".
ack not sure if that made any sense?? got a lot of feelings about this topic but i'm not very good with words
I'm enjoying their culture 🥺🥺"
[+ also the infantilization of Asians that are a big issue too; (ie. Babying adult stars/influencers)]
If you want to enjoy Asian culture, don't just modify yourself to look Asian and speak OVER Asian voices; listen to them and learn from them. Non-Asian folk don't get the head on megaphone with the asian-baiting that Ariana has been doing.

i'm not asian but i think i can understand what you mean. giving a really silly example, i used to be made fun of for wearing glasses and some years later it became trendy that people would even wear fake ones. when i saw that i thought wow society is so fckn stupid, but it's easy to forget and ignore since it's just glasses. with races it's a way harder thing, it goes way deeper. because being certain races comes with a lot of heavy prejudice, and it isn't an object like the glasses. seeing it be treated as if it was one feels kinda dehumanising. features being trends feels so weird...
Honestly the way ppl look shouldn't be a trend period it's gross and divisive af
@@Sofiaode18 why would we do that? There’s plenty of people that have dark skin and curly hair in different races. You shouldn’t speak on this topic if you don’t understand.

Lightning and shadows my friend
@@Jauhelihakeitto I understand the lighting might have had an affect on her eyelids but it is clear the picture is heavily photoshopped and Ariana's team saw it, and thought it would be good to post. She and her team know how sensitive the media is and still decided to post it, they knwo exactly what they're doing. Its unexpectable how people are standing up for her when literal asians are offended by the way she edited her eyelids. You can even tell the difference on the shade on her skin on the two pictures. Just because your fave is the one who did it doesnt mean they shouldn't be held accountable. 💀
@@iris-jm1vt She isnt my fave and im asian and most of us dont give a fuck because it doesnt look photoshoped. She have looked like this before and literally no one cared, because again - lightning. As in for eg some DW meet and greet photos.
