I love lowered trucks, but if I had my way I'd have 2 trucks; one laying frame & one with a 3 inch lift.
That’s kinda what I did. You have a 97 Silverado with a 4/6 drop. And a 2016 with a 2 inch level on 33’s. I enjoy both of them in different ways.

Low and fast is my favorite way to go. I only wish more wheel manufacturers would make cleaner 5 and 6 spoke wheels instead of the standard super busy designs that they’re making now.

Agreed. Most modern aftermarket wheels are wayyyyy too busy. They need to offer wheels that flow with specific models, not just wild and ugly.

My opinion, I like a lowered 2wd rcsb, 454ss, lightings, etc, and then on the other side a 4x4, 4 inch lifted crew cabs.

I'm definitely a lowered truck guy, I've never been much for lifted or wheels sticking out the finder wells but to each their own. If everyone had the same taste there wouldn't be so many aftermarket truck parts on the market.
Lifted all day for me. But single cabs do look better lowered. Not slammed & Nothing bigger than 22"s though. Anything bigger looks ridiculous.

Lifted trucks can't beat the aesthetic of lowered trucks, in my opinion. You can really appreciate body lines when it's all that you're looking at.
Lowered or lifted I like em all .... I can appreciate any truck that someone has spent time on and put money into to make it still live old truck especially.

I don't understand the squated trucks, with huge wheels, low pro mud tires, and underglow lights in the undercarriage but I respect it. Even if I feel like the owners of these trucks couldn't decide whether they wanted to go with a lifted, lowered, or ricer theme.
I personally own both a lifted and lowered truck. I've been asked by many people what's the point of having a low truck if you can't haul anything or drive anywhere that doesn't have perfect roads. In my experience I've never had that issue, I've driven my dropped truck from TX to CA multiple times with everything I needed in the bed. I have no need to tow thousands of pounds and it's more of my street/strip toy. My lifted one will do anything else I cant do with the lowered one and vice versa. One has better performance, handling, and Fuel mileage (despite having a modified engine) while the other can haul what I need it to and go anywhere with no problems. Both have their place and look mean as hell but I will admit I think the beefier appearance in the newer trucks lend themselves to a better looking lift than drop kit but that's just my personal opinion.

Agreed with most love em both. In my own opinion if it's 2WD you lower it, and if it's 4WD you lift it. Stuck is for non-car/truck enthusiasts. I grew up liking lowered trucks but wouldn't mind a lifted truck as a daily

Why are there NASCAR truck lowered going 200mph. Same thing. You don't see a lifted truck on a race track going 200mph for a little over 3 hours of pure racing. By the way i think its bad ass cause it's all American V8 engines love it.
