- I just wanted to talk to you today about having principles as a Christian. Also just to clarify this is my second channel which purely for Christians and my Off the Kirb channel is for unbelievers. I hope you like this one it's much more "chilled" and unscripted!

I also listen to you from NC thank you you have just helped me to make a decision about a man who wants to go out with me and I am a Christian and he studies the Ouran... I will not waver and tell him that I can not go out with him even as a friend.... Thanks just what I needed to hear when I needed most.... Agreed. If memory serves, there was a time or two when Jesus/or the apostles quoted seemingly from two different passages like that, also; and I believe sometimes the Holy Spirit uses that kind of thing to show us the throughline, and how scripture is one big, consistent story, pointing us to the Saviour: Jesus Christ.

Today I went to church. It was a serious battle getting out the door...i had a tough time getting my 4 of 5 children out the door (baby was with dad) i was in tears while driving. Felt like turning around and going home the whole drive there. I knew in my heart the devil DID NOT want me to get to church. Honestly thats what kept me driving. I KNEW it would be worth it and HAD TO HEAR FROM GOD! walking in the door pastor was preaching about the fruits of the spirit, and also spoke of pruining, cutting, getting rid of the things that stop fruit from growing. I felt convicted and loved it!! I repented of sin, gave it to God and am focusing on loving my family and being grateful for the chaos, and looking for the good! The branch that doesn't bear fruit will be cast off...we need to do self inventory often! This lined right up with what God was saying today. Hallelujah for second chances and the blood of Jesus! You are awesome lord! Please bless us all and show us your mercy when we seek it!

I’ve seen people post. Faith comes by hearing, hearing the Word of God.
This touched me deeply. I felt you came along side and spoke to me honestly from your heart.
We need Pastors doing this and sadly their not.
I left my church after he read from the message heresy bible.
And introduced Richard Foster. The entire congregation didn’t know or care. My heart was broken.
I do read and study a lot but by myself.
Joe , you and your family have been in my prayers.
My health has been declining more rapidly now.
I’ve been sick from meningitis at age 8.
I’m 63 now.
It was my health battle that I cried out to the Lord and he did rescue me!
No matter how hard the days are I sing praises to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Where principles are concerned. I had a teacher when I was young who described to his class his definition of a professional/ principled person.
He said; " A professional is a person who will do the right thing.....EVEN at those moments when he least feels like doing so ".
And he went on to say that this held true in our professional lives AND our personal lives.
As Christians we are challenged every single day to consider what we do and don't do. And at those moments when we are weakest and don't want to do the right thing we must cry out to God for support and strength. 🙏✝️🙏
Please keep preaching God’s word!!! We all want to be encouraged in the truth!

I once left the grocery store after purchasing a few items; when I got to my truck and picked up my purse from the cart, I saw I had a package of taco seasoning that I'd evidently placed my purse on top of. I finished loading the groceries into my truck and went back into the store with my taco seasoning to pay for it. Two cashiers at the checkout appeared somewhat shocked..😂...I said I realize that I could have just taken it and left, but that I am accountable to God for what I do, and He sees everything. They smiled, nodded and thanked me for coming back to pay for it. God knows I do enough wrong things that I have to repent for, I don’t need to add stealing to the list too!
This is a good video format, Brother Joe. It's easier to keep track of both kinds of content on separate channels. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ.

Joe, I have listened to you for years now. I've been here through all the stages of ministry that this channel has gone through, and have learned something in all of them.
I have been a Christian for 28 years and am a firm believer that we should never think we are beyond the point of listening to the basic tenants of our faith.
So, as to your question about what kind of videos we would prefer you to do, I have 2 very important things to say.
First of all, a warning. You have spoken about the "seeker sensitive" churches and how they do surveys with the public to find out what the church could do in order for them to attend church. That is a very dangerous position for the church (and you) to be in. We are to speak the word that God lays on our heart. He has said that we do not need to worry about what we should say, for at the very moment we need to speak, He will give us the needed wisdom to speak the right things.
Secondly, I have a personal event to relay another view.
A few years ago, I began listening to a teacher that came highly recommended by someone that I trusted. After years of listening to him, I actually had come to the place that I did not listen to any of the Bible teachers that I had highly regarded before. I had gained much "wisdom" from this teacher that excelled in relaying Hebrew words & their meanings, along with various other things. Every lesson was a great exposition on the word of God. Unfortunately, all of my Bible study actually made me think that I was living right before the LORD.
That is, until one day, a video came up in my suggestions on TH-cam of a pastor that I had never listened to before. It just so happened that his message was a very simple one on the gospel of Jesus Christ.... truly just the basics.
As I listened to him, I realized that I was a dried up Christian, walking on a path that was leading me away from my precious Savior. I only realized this because I heard the sweet gospel message again, which was like fresh water given to a dying man. If you would have spoken to me before listening to that message, I would have said that I was closer to God than I had ever been. But afterwards, I was made aware of my very dangerous position... one of nearly being fallen away.
Therefore, to wrap up this very long message.... Determine to only speak the words that God lays on your heart. Do not conform this channel (or your ministry) to what other people want you to say. At times your message will appear to be only for Christians; at other times it will appear to only be for non-Christians. But at all times, both groups will learn something if God opens our ears to hear.
Stay in prayer & in His Word, my brother, and all things will work out for good, no matter what He has you to speak. 🙏🏻📖🙏🏻

If hearing this doesn’t make every Christian not evaluate their lives and behaviors as a Christian, nothing will. I hurt when I heard this. I was smoking a cigarette. All I need right now is GOD. Joe, I have watched your videos for awhile now. I've been very encouraged by God's changing and convicting work in your life. This analogy of the bus driver and passenger is a great example of what we see from Christ's words to us. In John 13:35 we are told they (the world) will know we are Christ's disciples by our love for one another. This literally is the active display of Christian (Christ-like) principles lived out in day-to-day interactions that give testimony and support to the Words we tell them of God's Gospel message.
