@@thomascoffin5267yes for sure but not enough Christian people men and women and the olde the youggins speak about what we ought. Not what we should. But what we get to do. And although it's as Paul washer Is composing all the parts of a TV and selling it to us in good format I know it's convenient and practically good that a human know precisely how a TV should become by one single human. Its effectiveness is low. But millions of people who do their job and remember other events in life more than the specific pieces of hundreds in a TV is more meaning fully filled. And honestly I don't think that's bad what Paul washer in how he does it because at God's greatest he provides with great men as he. I'm sure Paul washer works his hands too. As we all should. Agreed, but Not in old school Pentecostal churches
Holiness and separation were a prerequisite for genuine power to accompany the preaching of the gospel
That’s why they see God heal and deliver much more
But nobody wants to pay the cost of setting oneself apart and being broken and purged

Paul Washer is misguiding you, he is telling the lies of the devil at the beginning. Paul Washer misused the Word of God at the beginning "If we say we have no sin.." (1. John).
This counts for people with their mind on the flesh, not for us children of God who walk in the spirit. In 1. John 3 we read we children of God can't sin:
"9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother."
If you want to get free of ongoing sin you should start to live in the spirit and accept that you are a new pure creation in Jesus if you are reborn in Jesus. You can't sin and be in Jesus at the same time, if you sin you must have left Jesus before.
Stop believing the lies of the devil who wants you to believe you are still (in) your flesh and you have to do what you don't want to do. Your flesh is dead (for all children of God), it has no more power over you, read Romans 8. In Romans 7 you can find out how it is to live in the flesh and at the end the way out of this mess = grace.
In Romans 8 you then read that we children of God are not in the flesh anymore, we are in the spirit and we do not walk in flesh we walk in the spirit = free of the mess.
But the devil wants your mind on the flesh so you walk in the flesh again so you do what you don't want to do again. And God wants you to lead your mind by the spirit. Getting right your mind is important:
"6 The sinful human mind results in death, but having the mind led by the Spirit results in life and peace."
The holy spirit shows us the truth, we children of God are a new pure creation in Jesus and able to resist all temptations. We are pure, which means we do not need to bathe again, only our feet need to be cleaned so we walk in truth. We do not have to do what we don't want to do if we live according to our new creation in Jesus.
Believe and trust in Jesus, his holy spirit within you and let yourself guide by the spirit so you are able to love Jesus.
And to love Jesus means to do what God tells you through the holy spirit.

@@tony1685 my friend the Jews of Abraham turned into a religion there was always the bloodline hence is why we had Jesus through David, they understood what animal sacrifices men it was never about keeping the law but for being righteous through Christ the sacrificial lamb that has yet to come Abraham knew who the Lord was! The Lord is whom talk to Abraham and talk to Moses talk to can talk to Adam and Eve in Garden. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has not changed since the Garden of Eden symbolically we are to take of the tree of Life Jesus Christ. Jesus gave us two great commandments that hang all the law of the prophets which in all honesty there is a little bit more responsibility than the Mosaic law because it has to do with living a moral life not that of religious one friend.. John the Baptist was calling out to all and especially those vipers that ended up coming in, they knew they had done wrong they knew they needed repentance because they were charging people for scriptures they were tithing or they were oppressing the system they were Romans of seeking baptism because they understood what was going on to some degree that they needed God's forgiveness it has never changed since the Garden of Eden. Through Christ we can live a righteous life he freed us from the bondage of sin 2000 years ago and now we are to walk accordingly not in sin! Sacrifice on the cross allowed us to be freed from the bondage of sin it does not involve practicing mosaic laws it involves following Jesus Christ and what he said in the 4 Gospel friend.

God has always been in the business of salvation.
All that ever lived and were saved. were saved by faith, BY HIS GRACE.
From, Adam to the last man that would ever believe.
No man has ever accomplished the perfection and sinlessness of the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
WE HAVE ALL FALLEN SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD.
WE ARE LIVING IN THE DAY OF SALVATION, DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEART.
TODAY IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO RECEIVE THE FREE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES.
MY FRIEND, IF YOU ARE A GOOD PERSON, YOU ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
IF YOU ARE A RELIGIOUS PERSON, YOU ARE NOT RELIGIOUS ENOUGH.
IF YOU ARE A FAITHFUL PERSON, YOU ARE NOT FAITHFUL ENOUGH.
IF YOU ARE A DEDICATED PERSON, YOU ARE NOT DEDICATED ENOUGH.
IF YOU ARE A COMMITTED PERSON, YOU ARE NOT COMMITTED ENOUGH.
IF YOU STOP SINNING, YOU HAVEN'T
      STOP SINNING ENOUGH.
IF YOU ARE RIGHTEOUS MAN, YOU ARE NOT RIGHTEOUS ENOUGH.
      DO I HAVE TO CONTINUE?
YOU ALSO HAVE FALLEN SHORT, AND ARE IN NEED OF A SAVIOR.
THE JEWS THAT WERE BLIND CRUCIFIED HIM, THE JEWS THAT COULD SEE WORSHIP HIM, EVERY RELIGION ON EARTH HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH HIM RATHER THEY ACCEPT HIM OR REJECT HIM.
JESUS HIMSELF, ASKED THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION EVER.
WHOM DO YOU SAY THAT I AM?
HE DID ALL THE THINGS THAT ONLY GOD CAN DO, AND HE DID THEM IN THE FLESH.
HE SAID IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME BELIEVE THE WORKS THAT I DO.
I BELIEVE IN JESUS THE SON OF GOD,
WHO IS GOD HIMSELF IN THE FLESH.
THE TRIUNE GOD OF ISREAL, (THE TRINITY) THE GOD OF ABRAHAM ISSAC AND JACOB.
      THERE IS NO OTHER WAY,
WITHOUT THE RESURRECTION OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST THERE IS NO HOPE OF BEING RESURRECTED.
THERE IS NO HOPE OF ANY RESURRECTION, APART FROM JESUS.
      King James Bible
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
MY FRIEND THIS IS THE REQUIREMENT FOR ETERNAL LIFE.
29The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. 30He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
31(They replied, “(BELIEVE) IN THE LORD JESUS, AND YOU WILL BE SAVED)
you and your household.” 32Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house. 33At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his household were baptized. 34The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them; HE WAS FILLED WITH JOY BECAUSE HE HAD COME TO( BELIEVE ) IN GOD -he and his whole household.
WOW, THE DISCIPLES PREACHED JESUS, AND THEY CAME TO BELIEVE IN GOD.
      IN JOHN 6 IT SAYS.
28Then they asked him, “What must we do to be doing the works of God ”
29JESUS ANSWERED, “THE WORK OF GOD IS THIS: TO BELIEVE IN THE ONE HE HAS SENT.”
JESUS IS THE ONE GOD HAS SENT.
JESUS IS THE SAVIOR, THE MESSIAH, THAT THE JEWS WAITED FOR BUT DIDN'T RECOGNIZE HIM WHEN HE CAME.
      New King James Version
and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, BECAUSE YOU DID NOT (KNOW) THE TIME OF YOUR VISITATION.”
      CONSEQUENCES FOR NOT RECOGNIZING
      JESUS CHRIST.
      King James Bible
He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
AT THIS MOMENT THE JEWS AND MUSLIMS ARE WORKING ON THEIR OWN
RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH, BECAUSE TRUE RIGHTEOUSNESS COMES BY FAITH.
BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS AND YOU
      WILL BE SAVED.
      New International Version
Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
THE BIBLE CLEARLY SAYS. ( THAT IF RIGHTEOUSNESS CAME BY THE LAW
GOD WOULD HAVE GAVE US A LAW
WHEREBY WE COULD GET SAVED BY. )
      New International Version galatians 3;21
Is the law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! (FOR IF A LAW HAD BEEN GIVEN THAT COULD IMPART LIFE, THEN RIGHTEOUSNESS WOULD CERTAINLY HAVE COME BY THE LAW.
This verse clearly say that God never gave us a law, that could save us if we keep it, and that there is no law that was given for us to be saved by.
So if we are not saved by the law then how are we saved? Answer by grace through faith in Jesus.
Everyone trying to be good enough to be saved is delusional, Jesus is the only way to receive salvation.
After you have believe the gospel and are saved, then you can live as godly as you want but not to get saved, but because you are saved.
      New International Version
I do not set aside the grace of God, (FOR IF RIGHTEOUSNESS COULD BE GAINED THROUGH THE LAW, ) CHRIST DIED FOR NOTHING!”
WELL YOU ONLY HAVE ONE CHOICE.
BELIEVE, IN JESUS CHRIST, BELIEVE IN THE DEATH BURRIAL AND RESURRECTION, AND BE SAVED.
WHEN YOU ARE SAVED, GOD EQUIPS YOU TO LIVE OUT A GODLY LIFE.
      YOU WILL BEAR FRIUT.
BUT BE ⚠️ WARNED. JUDE 1:4
      New Living Translation
I say this because some ungodly people have wormed their way into your churches, saying that God’s marvelous grace allows us to live immoral lives. The condemnation of such people was recorded long ago, for they have denied our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
If you say that a man can lose salvation, you are saying salvation does not belong to the LORD.

Ironic what you said regarding sin, that hopefully it will be a lot less as we grow. As I've grown, I am becoming more and more aware how much I sin and how helpless and hopeless I am without Christ. I think the most important thing I've learned over the years, is that walking in the Spirit is not learning to be 'self sufficient', but becoming completely dependent on the Holy Spirit. like a child who is truly dependent on their parents, completely trusting.

I felt helpless I couldn't get out, I doubted if God was even true. But I was in there bcz I didn't meditate on God's word, I flirted with the snake instead of running away from it, even had opportunities to kill the sin but I kept coming back. I was so broken in sin that I wanted to die bcz I can't stop. But God saved me, He opened my eyes, He helped me... it was a long road to recovery and painful as it is... I needed that discipline of my loving Father so I can be united with Him. He is unbelievably patient and merciful to me. 5 years passed and I have never felt so much joy, contentment and peace. Sacrifice your desires for God. Be happy with the progress that you are making, because God is happy that you are striving for that. Otherwise, you will end up obsessively beating yourself down. On the positive side, have compassion on those who are struggling with sin. Maybe that is how we are humbled through our weakness, to be more understanding towards others. God give you victory!

Sadly Paul Washer lies in this video at the beginning. We children of GOd are free of ongoing sin if we live according to our new nature in the spirit.
Paul Washer misused the Word of God at the beginning "If we say we have no sin.." (1. John).
This counts for people with their mind on the flesh, not for us children of God who walk in the spirit. In 1. John 3, 9 we read we children of God can't sin:
"9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."
If you want to get free of ongoing sin you should start to live in the spirit and accept that you are a new pure creation in Jesus if you are reborn in Jesus. You can't sin and be in Jesus at the same time, if you sin you must have left Jesus before.
Love Jesus and you will keep his commandments ( John 14, 15). And to love Jesus means to listen to God and to do what he tells you (through the holy spirit within you).

@@michaelkindgottesAre you seriously saying that you do not sin?

    • @michaelkindgottes
      @michaelkindgottes 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

I do not sin if I stay in Jesus.
It happened that I left Jesus and with that also my true me, and then I sinned again but God showed me right away the way back through the holy spirit.
I do not have ongoing sin like my old gone me. It is like ROmans 8 says I let myseolf and my mind guide by the holy sppirit and not like my old from the flesh.
In Romans 7 Paul says how it is to live in the flesh, that you do what you don't want to do and don't do what you want to do. And then at the end of Romans 7 he tells us that there is a way out = Grace.
In Romans 8 he then tells us that we chldren of God are free of that mess of doing what we don't want because we live in the spirit. At that is not just theroy it is life I experienced and experience.
I just need to stay in Jesus, in my true self.
      1. Jon 3, 4 - 6:
"4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him."
Who stays in Jesus can not sin verse 6.
I, we children of God, do not fight against flesh, we fight against spirits. And some spirits try to make us guide by the felsh again. By distracting us and keep us busy.
So it can happen, that I also have my mind on fleshly things and rarely do something I shouldn't do but it ends very quickly. It is no ongoing sin. And the Word of God says god can make us walk flawless. So it is possible that my rarely becomes never while I walk on earth.
I am new in Jesus, from God reborn in Jesus. My old nature is dead, now I got a pure nature from God. As long as I stay in the love of Jesus I am my true self, a child of God who can't sin = 1. John 3, 9: "9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."
So do not believe the false words of Paul Washer. I don't believe him because I know and live the truth:
      1. John 4, 4: "4 Little children, you are of God and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world."

It drove me to drinking, smoking, murmuring, things I know I was delivered from. Every morning I read my Bible until the tragedy struck. In heaven you will be given new bodies, free of pain, he will wipe every tear from your eye, he will cast Satan into lake fire and you'll never be tormented with his lies ever again, you'll never be alone again as you'll be in the company of every single Christian who ever lived! Friends, the family members you lost here on earth, the people in the Bible and especially our Lord Himself! You'll dwell in a land of beauty beyond your wildest imagination! God's promise is perfect and all these things you will have and more! Yes, you suffered a temporary loss today, but tomorrow a glorious eternity waits. Don't give up my friend, God is far from done! He loves you more than you know. Peace.

If you belong to Jesus God will give you the strength to endure and overcome every temptation.
1 CORINTHIANS 10, 13 "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."
And if you want to get rid of ongoing sin start to believe you are a new pure creation in Jesus in case you belong to Jesus. And then start to walk in the spirit like God tells us through his word. In Jesus we do not sin.
Jesus also sais if you love him you will keep his commandments (John 14, 15). It is a promise of God.
And to love Jesus means to do what God tells you through the holy spirit. Love expresses itself in good works for the one you love. You only truly believe in Jesus if you love Jesus.
Faith is dead without works like the body is dead without the spirit.

Same, friend. His grace is sufficient. We gotta lean in to grace. Easier said than done. We often think we’re beyond repair. But God is good, and we gotta trust that He began a good work in us. With us it’s impossible. Nothing is impossible for Him. Keep on pressing on my brother.

"knowing this, that our old man is crucified with [Him] in order that the body of sin might be destroyed, that from now on we should not serve sin. … But if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, … Likewise count yourselves also to be truly dead to sin, but alive to God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts." (Rom 6:6,8,11-12)
You ARE supernaturally crucified WITH HIM, if you're truly regenerated, but you really have to COUNT yourself a dead man, dead to sin, and you WILL, THROUGH HIM, have power over your lusts! We don't need to serve it anymore, you must understand this! HE provided it all, it IS finished. Waiting for Him to somehow change you into someone who easily resists, WON'T HAPPEN! Read Romans Chapters 6, 7 & 8 and try to grasp your spiritual situation, pray over it, ask the Lord to explain it to you! HE WILL!
And whenever you're tempted in your thoughts, when certain awful ideas come into your mind, RUN TO HIM IMMEDIATELY, thank Him, that your're crucified WITH HIM, and ask HIM to take those thoughts away! And HE WILL! Guaranteed! The only relevant questions here are: Do you REALLY know HIM and do you REALLY want this?

Time for you to see the truth. Paul washer is a liar. We children of God are free of the power of sin and are able to resist all temptations. But for that we need to live in the spirit by grace. Like it is written in Romans 8.
Stop believing the lies of the devil who wants you to believe you are still (in) your flesh and you have to do what you don't want to do (ongoing sin).
Your flesh is dead (for all children of God), it has no more power over you.
The holy spirit shows us the truth, we are a new pure creation in Jesus and able to resist all temptations. We do not have to do what we don't want to do if we live according to our new creation in Jesus. Believe and trust in Jesus, his holy spirit within you and let yourself guide by the spirit so you are able to love Jesus.
And to love Jesus means to do what God tells you trough his holy spirit.
If you love Jesus you will keep his commandments (John 14, 15). That is truth and a promise of God.

Paul Washer is good. I don't think he's for those who aren't truly desiring Christ and to do better through the will of God. I have alot of work that needs done and I'm praying God is refining me as a diamond in the rough. I normally come on TH-cam to look at sermon videos to help me understand the Bible.

you truly cannot choose not to sin by your own will. You need the help of the holy spirit which comes from the word of God and prayer

    • @michaelkindgottes
      @michaelkindgottes 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

A life without sin comes from a life lived in the spirit.
I am free of ongoing sin by grace. Like it is witten in Romans 8. We children of God do not life in the flesh anymore. We children of God are alive in Jesus and walk in the spirit so we are free of ongoing sin.
Paul Washer tells in this video the lies of the devil who wants you to believe you can't get free of sin. But all children of God are free of sin. Paul misued the Word of God at the beginning.
We can't sin and stay in Jesus at the same time. Elsewise you would make Jesus a liar and a sinner too. If you sin you must have left Jesus before.
So focus on loving Jesus. Because Jesus tells us that if you love him you will keep his commandments. That is a promise of God. We children of God are free of the power of sin and be able to resist all temptations.
And to love Jesus means to do what God tells you through the holy spirit inside of you.

Calvinism is like a father telling his son, "My son, give me a hug and we will go get icecream!" But alas, the son did not hug his father and so the father said, "Oh you stiffnecked son, had you but given me a hug, you could have enjoyed icecream, but you refused. No icecream for you!"
As the boy cried to his dad, he asked his father why he put his size 16 shoe, bearing all 350 pounds on his neck? He said, "Father I would have loved to hug you and go get icecream, but I was unable due to you preventing me.

    • @lukehelpmetakethisdangmaskoff
      @lukehelpmetakethisdangmaskoff 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@@nykka3You have misused the term, "diatribe". What I wrote is an analogy actually.
Paul Washer is a Calvinist. Calvinism teaches that God is Sovereign over all, including your will. As such, if it were true, there is no purpose in anything he is teaching because God has Sovereignty decreed every thought and deed for everyone. In my analogy, the child cannot do what the father asked because the father was preventing him from doing it. According to Washer, unless God has granted you repentance, you cannot do anything including repent from sin, which is unbiblical btw, so what is the point?

I have a friend in Christ who has the same problem.. I often pray and try to apply myself to understand why and what the root cause is and thought about them as I watched this, then I saw these comments and I think it just comes back to confession.
As brother Paul was saying "To say the same as".
It's not enough to acknowledge that something is wrong and to fear the consequences, we have to completely agree that it is as evil as God says that it is. We have to hate it as God hates it. "Abhor what is evil, cleave to what is good".
We have to be real with ourselves and ask, "Do I actually hate this, or is there still a part of my heart that relishes it and justifies doing it". Am I looking for a means of escape, or am I looking for am excuse to partake?
Because I promise you, faith, or the power of, is not just in the confession, it's whether you actually believe in what you are saying.
And that's not to condemn but to challenge ourselves, our hearts, our motives, our reality, to help us truly overcome.
You're not going to steer clear of a danger zone no matter how many times people tell you or how many signs you see if you don't understand the detriment of the danger you are risking, especially if you have already crossed that line, you become less inclined to heeding to it.
And this comes through revelation, of the love and goodness of God.
The more intimate we are with God, the more we truly know Him and His nature, the more that we will love what He loves and hate what He hates, and more and more, we will want no part with darkness.
We have to "mortify our members", deny ourselves, "discipline our bodies". And that is the last thing that the flesh wants.
"The Spirit lusts against the flesh, amd the flesh against the Spirit".
We have to come into agreement.
This is coming from someone who once, also was captive and a partaker in sexual sin and also is not ignorant to think that it wouldn't be easy to fall back into it.
I understand, but I also understand that after 7 years of smoking weed and many more years of other things, that I had to get to a point where I actually hated it and wanted God more, and coupled with godly fear and reverence, I wanted to be pure for Him, I couldn't stand in His presence and fully embrace all of His goodness while I was still doing that. And I just chose to believe what He said. That doesn't mean that He doesn't meet us where we are at, but He even said that there are certain things that can't inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. Does that mean we won't get into heaven? I don't know. But I know that these things are not of Him and He doesn't wamt them for us and we shouldn't want or accept them for ourselves or each other. I know He purifies us by the blood, but it gets to the extent where we take His grace for granted and "and crucify again for ourselves the Lord Jesus Christ". We are called to holiness and righteousness.
There is no condemnation to those who are in Christ. Only a conviction to come up higher.
Don't own your sin. Tell yourself that you hate it. It is not yours, it is of satan and it has no place in the kingdom. That goes for us all and for all sin.
I speak for myself first and foremost. We need to get real.
We are more than conquerors through Christ! He bore our iniquities! We don't have to suffer anymore.
We are closer than we ever have been to the end and only getting closer.
We can say "I will pick up my cross tomorrow", but tomorrow is not promised.
    He has won the victory!

If your talking about being on technology for too long, put your phone down, and go for a walk, pick up a paper Bible find a verse, and meditate on that verse on a bike ride. Technology doesn’t need to follow you, no matter what society says of it. Um, according to Calvinism, God is the sole author and sovereign over every desire he determines for me, to habitually sin in for his glory, so the more I habitually sin it is only God creating more glory for himself. God always gets what he determines and wants.
